Nairaland GeneralI Murdered My Lover Because She Made Me Jealous – Suspect by bobonicez(op): 10:47am On Aug 07, 2014
33 year old Kelechi Williams, the prime suspected in the murder of his 39 year old lover, Mrs Lizzy Njideka Nweze, was yesterday August 6th paraded by men of the Lagos state Police command where he confessed to strangling the late mother of four and Senior staff of Edmark International Limited at her Green Estate residence on July 19th. He said he killed her because he found out she was cheating on him. Below is what he told reporters

"Lizzy was my girlfriend. I knew her three years ago. But we started getting serious in February this year. I came back from Ghana to visit her on July 16, 2014 which was on a Wednesday. The next day we went out and came back late. On Friday, she told me to stay back at home and rest because I was tired. She left the house, saying she was going to the new apartment she was to pack into, assuring me she would be back as usual by 6 p.m. But she did not return by 6pm. Rather, the gate man came with a power generating set, saying madam had gone to drop the workers. When it was 8 p.m. and I did not see her, I started calling her on phone but she did not pick.

I called her up to 30 times without response. She came back by midnight and when I asked why she did not pick my calls, she said the phone was in silent mode. I brought out my phone and called her line only for it to ring. At that point I noticed she was drunk. I got angry and asked if that was the way she would pay me back for leaving everything in Ghana to come and spend time with her. I threatened to quit the relationship. But at that point, her phone rang and I told her to pick it but she insisted that I should pick it and when I did, the caller, who was a male, asked ‘baby are you home?’ Immediately she discovered it was a male’s voice, she snatched the phone from me and asked why I should pick her calls. I reminded her of a similar incident when she came to visit me in Ghana and my phone rang. She pick it and on discovering it was a female, she smashed the phone on the ground, without knowing who the caller was. I reminded her also that she collected my other phones from me and brought them to Nigeria. In anger, I took the phone and smashed it on the ground. Before I knew it, she threw my things outside, saying I should leave her house. I told her to give me the N300,000 she borrowed from me to buy an air conditioner, if she wanted me to leave but she said she had no money with her and gave me her ATM card which she said had just N140,000. At a point, she slapped me and we started fighting. She held on to my manhood and started stretching it. That was when I held the wrapper that was around her neck and used it to strangle her, thereby forcing her to let go my manhood. She fell down and became motionless. Immediately, I took her three phones, ATM card and went outside to meet the gate man to see me off to any ATM machine, where I withdrew N100,000. I dropped the gateman at home, and told him I was going to pump the tyre. At that point, I knew I was in trouble. I did not go back to her house for fear of being arrested. I drove straight to Mile 2, from where I picked a driver who drove me down to Ghana. I spent some days in Ghana before I decided to leave for Cote d’Ivoire, where unfortunately I was arrested. I never wanted to kill her. I have never fought in my life, let alone kill somebody. I did not also steal her jewellery and N8 million as claimed by the Police. The only money I withdrew was N100,000 and her phone.” he said

The Lagos state Police Commissioner, Umar Tanko, while briefing newsmen said after the suspect killed the woman, he took the SUV he stole from her to his church in Ghana where he had a thanksgiving for his new car and also made a huge donation to the church to thank God. The police boss said on the day of the murder, the suspect locked the door from outside, apparently to make it look as if they had gone out. He further disclosed that a new International Passport which bore the suspect’s name and the surname of his deceased’s lover, was found on him, suggesting that the murder was planned.

On how her corpse was discovered, the security man to the late Lizzy Nwezue, John Tungwim, said he suspected a foul play when Kelechi ran out from the apartment that night.
He said “he told me he was going to the club with madam but that she asked him to go and withdraw money with her ATM card first. I went with him because I know madam’s pin code. But we came back, he told me to go inside that madam said she was tired and could not go. So, he drove out alone. I never suspected anything until the next day when I did not see madam. I called one of the children’s attention to it. Out of curiosity, I climbed a ladder only to discover that madam was on the floor foaming in her mouth. I contacted her brother who called in the police.” he said

Nairaland GeneralWonderful.. Giant Whale Shark Caught In China By Local Fisher Man by bobonicez(op): 6:19pm On Aug 05, 2014
amazing pictures shows a two-tonne whale shark being driven through a town in China strapped to a fisherman's truck who had caught it when the whale broke into his giant net to eat the fishes it had caught but died soon afterwards.
Speaking to local news station Cai Chengzhu said he and his colleagues had been hauling their net out of the water when they noticed a gaping hole in the side. It's believed that the giant creature broke the net and got inside to eat the fishes we caught before it died, he said.

Cai then strapped the whale to his truck and drove towards the market before officials from the Fujian fisheries department stepped in because it is illegal to either buy or sell whale sharks in China, where they are classed as protected.
They had planned to sell the gigantic fish, thought to be a juvenile, between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan (£960-£1920).

Police in Washington state said Tatanysha Hedman, 40, doused her sleeping husband in gasoline before setting him on fire.

Hedman, 40, was arrested and told police she set her husband, Vincent Phillips, 52, on fire because he hurt her 7-year-old daughter, who is his stepdaughter. She said she did it because shooting him "was too nice,"

Phillips is hospitalized and faces first-degree child molestation charges. Hedman remains in jail, facing assault and arson charges.

Wonder why she's still in jail...she was protecting her child and other children this alleged paedophile would have molested. Continue ...

Nairaland GeneralFashion Government Warns TB Joshua Not To Accept Ebola Victims In His Church by bobonicez(op): 1:12pm On Aug 04, 2014
The Lagos state government has warned pastor TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations not to accept Ebola victims if they come to him for healing.

According to The Nation officials of Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Federal Government, led by the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, visited him seeking his cooperation in ensuring victims of the deadly virus are not brought to his church for healing. Synagogue is a popular destination for sick people who go there for divine healing.

"We have our strategies that we intend to share with you. Again, we need to know the resources you have here because whether it is one or two cases, if they are allowed to get out, it is a major problem. We are here to work together on how to contain this disease,” Idris told the cleric." Dr Idris reportedly told Joshua. Continue...

The commissioner added that the visit is one of the state government’s strategies of sensitizing faith-based organizations on the need to cooperate with the government to prevent the spread of the disease in the country by educating the worshipers to report health issues to medical experts.

Idris said the Federal and Lagos state government are working hard to prevent a spread of the virus into the country, the delegation has deemed it fit to educate and create awareness among the multinational congregation on the disease and how it can spread.

“We are here to engage you positively, we know the powers of this House and your powers and we are duty- bound to protect you and your congregation. We have no doubt the power God has given you, we can’t do that, but we want to help and make it work stronger,” Director, Centre for Disease Control (CDC), Professor Abdulsalami Nasidi, another member of the congregation told the prophet

These are like perilous times in Nigeria. The General Overseer of God of Champion Royal Assembly, Brother Joshua Ignila, has dished out more prophecies after his spot on World Cup prediction (He had predicted that the German side would win).

According to the Sun, he told his congregation that, Boko haram leader, Shekau would be captured soon and a low ranking officer will shoot him on the leg and warned Abuja residents to be careful between Monday and Wednesday. “I hear the sound of bomb in the city and I call on security agencies to tighten security in Abuja between Monday and Wednesday.”

The pastor also predicted that a private jet carrying some Nigerian Governors who are opposed to certain decisions in the country would crash. In his words:

“I have warned them through my broadcast on Champions Television and I have tried to reach out to those I saw in my prediction. It is going to happen soon and nobody should blame anybody for it. It is either they retreat from that meeting they want to attend or they will perish.”

Let's hope that prayers can avert whatever calamity is coming the way of the said Governors.

Nairaland GeneralFrustrated Husband Creates Spreadsheet Detailing Different Reasons Why His Wife by bobonicez(op): 4:28pm On Jul 21, 2014
A 26 year old sexually frustrated man created a spreadsheet detailing reasons why his wife would not have sex with him. For a whole month, the man jotted down every reason the woman gave to turn him down when he asked for sex...from 'I'm too tired', to 'I'm watching the show' to 'I have to be up early' and sent it to her via email during a business trip to get her attention. She said when she tried to reach him after receiving the email, he refused to pick her calls and she angrily posted it on Reddit.

The lady said they'd been together for five years but only married for two years without any kids.

"Yesterday morning, while in a taxi on the way to the airport, husband sends a message to my work email which is connected to my phone. He's never done this, we always communicate in person or by text. I open it up, and it's a sarcastic diatribe basically saying he won't miss me for the 10 days I'm gone." She said "Attached is a spreadsheet of all the times he has tried to initiate sex since June 1, with a column for my "excuses", using verbatim quotes of why I didn't feel like having sex at that very moment.'

The spreadsheet, which has since been deleted, has been shared by thousands of people online.

CrimeHow Man Killed Food Seller’s Son For Money Rituals That Ended Up UNTRUE by bobonicez(op): 4:58pm On Jul 12, 2014
Muyideen Salaam, a 35 year-old apprentice at Aketegbo community in Seme, Badagry area of Lagos, gave this chilling confession of how he killed a 13 year-old boy, Rilwan Amuda, in his crave for materialism.
The Ibadan-born suspect claimed he was tempted to opt for money ritual after his wife left with their two children when feeding became an uphill task for him.
According to him: “ I was alone in the video shop club owned by my master when one of my friends named Nuru came and said he knew someone who could make us rich . He told me all that was needed was just the blood of a boy of about 15 years of age.

He said all I needed to do was to get the person since he had already contacted a herbalist. In my desperation, I told him we would take Rilawan, mama elewa’s son since I had easy access to him because he usually ran errands for me and sometimes I gave him money and used closthes. We felt it was useless to go out and get someone else since Rilawan stayed in the same area with us. I made him understand that getting someone was not the problem but taking him to the herbalist’s shrine where he would be killed.
When we told baba our constraint, he gave Nuru a ring and instructed us to just touch whoever we wanted to bring with it , that the person would follow us without hesitation.
On that fateful day, I called Rilwan and touched him with the ring . To my surprise, he became dumb and followed us to the shrine. We kept him there until it was dark .
When it was midnight and there was no one in sight, we took him away from the shrine and laid him on the ground. While Nuru slashed his throat with a knife given to us by the herbalist, I held a bowl close to his neck for the blood to pour into it.
Rilwan did not put up any resistance as promised by baba because he was hypnotized. And his memory was gone.
After we collected the blood, we gave the bowl to baba and carried Rilawan’s body far away from the shrine to avoid suspicion and dumped it on the expressway so as to give an impression that he was hit by a vehicle. We thereafter, went to bath with the blood as instructed by baba.
He performed some rituals fore us and mixed the blood with a black native soap and gave us to bath with after which he said we would become rich.
But after bathing with the substance, by the third day, we did not see any money as promised by baba. We were as poor as we used to be . We were so angry and decided to go to baba’s place to fight with him.
But on our way, Rilwan’s mother held me and asked me to produce his son for him. She said she was informed that he was last seen with me. She vehemently refused to let go of my trouser even when I denied.
This caused a scene and people gathered around me and started beating me. Nuru who was with me managed to escape. Policemen from Seme division came and took me away. It was at that moment I opened up.
But Nuru who lured me into it is nowhere to be found . I am left to bear the brunt alone . If I had known, I would have continued working for my master where I was paid N1,500 every month. The most painful aspect is that I do not have a mother, father, sister or brother. I am just all alone in the world. I do not want to die even though I partook in killing somebody “, he said in an emotional laden tone.
After his arrest, policemen reportedly took him to the herbalist shrine where the suspect showed them the bowl that was used to drain Rilwan’s blood. The herbalist identified as Soji Akodiya did not deny demanding for a human blood from Muyideen and his fleeing friend but he stated that the killing never took place in his shrine.
Out of curiosity , this reporter was forced to ask why he looked so haggard and tattered when he could make money to take care of himself. In response,he looked at the reporter , smiled sheepishly and said, “you will not understand”
Continuing he said : “ Yes, I told them what they needed for money ritual was human blood. Because money ritual is one of the greatest tasks in our line. I told them they could either use their own blood for it but I believe they never wanted to and brought that of the boy. I was not around when the boy was slaughtered . I did not even know when they brought him. He was not even killed in my shrine….”
But Muyideen interrupted saying “It is a lie. You knew when we brought him. It was even you that gave us knife and a bowl to put the blood. You even told us not to kill him in your shrine for security purpose and you were aware we were going to kill him that night”.
But the herbalist ignored the interjection and continued “ I am a herbalist who speacialise in attending to barren women. I also help people to get jobs and also give charms to traders to sell more than their fellow traders. I collect, N50 to N500 , depending on what the oracle demands. It is then left for my clients to appreciate me. I got money ritual charm from a colleague ten years ago when all herbalists went for a meeting in Ijebu-ode . Usually, what we do at such meeting is to help ourselves. For instance, if I have the cure for any disease and others do not, I will give to them and vice visa.
That was how the baba gave all of us ogun owo (money ritual charm)and instructed us on how to administer to our clients . I have never used it before, this is my first time. It was even when Nuru came to me that I realised I had the charm”.
Asked why it did work for the suspect and his fleeing partner in crime, the herbalist relied “ it did not work because they did not follow my instruction. The instruction was to bathe with the prepared concoction nine days after its preparation but they used it on the third day. Had they followed the instruction, they would have noticed a total turn around in whatever they set their hands to do . Their businesses would have been lucrative . And if they leave N1000 in the bag, they would wake up to meet triple of what was there”.

Mystics. Pure mystics. It’s unbelievable the extent many go to get rich. There are the politicians who believe that charms can make them powerful and transport them into powerful positions. Even when the efficacy of these rituals is in doubt, some people still believe that rituals can change their lives for the better. Evil men continue to chase their shadows. One thing is clear. Evil begets evil. There’s a price for every bad thing. Those who indulge in these primitive and devilish tendencies never end up well.

CrimeRCCG Student That Killed His Father: OB Reader Shares Her Own Story by bobonicez(op): 11:10am On Jul 11, 2014
From a female OB reader...please read!

In light of the story you posted on your blog about the RCCG student that killed his father, and the response to it by comedian: Wale Gates, I will like to share a little bit of my story to educate my fellow OBers on the dangers of abusing their power and authority over their children, I believe there are a lot of people with stories similar to mine that will have the courage to speak out after they read my story, and they will also realize that they are not alone in their experience. While the action of the RCCG student was despicable and evil, the truth of what led to it may never be known, but I believe there is an opportunity for a lot of people to learn from that unfortunate story about how parents can sometimes push their children to the extreme limits.

While my experience did not end up a tragedy as that of this unfortunate young man, I believe it might have had the same underlying tone and pattern.

I am a 40 year old successful woman who is based in south Africa, I’m happily married to a wonderful man and just had a bouncing baby girl, I have a good life and i love my life, but the only thorn in my life is my relationship with my mother. I grew up having a very toxic relationship with my mum, a relationship that soured after her divorce from my dad while i was a child, after the divorce my mother took all the children with her and for some reason singled me out by physically and emotionally abusing me repeatedly, she believed i have a lot in common with my dad whom she hated with a passion.I grew up in a home where my mother will call me various malicious names, and repeatedly tell me i will not amount to anything in life, she once told me she wishes she had aborted me when she was pregnant with me, i remember being chased out of the house as a teenager, and left to sleep outside alone overnight for not properly doing house chores.

This toxic relationship endured into my adulthood, I grew up never having the opportunity to have all the beautiful things a relationship with one’s mother can bring, every time something great was happening in my life my mother was always there around the corner to “pour sand in it”, she went as far as cancelling my wedding a few times because I would not invite one of her friends to it, she has managed to destroy every meaningful relationship I have with all my siblings and extended family members by telling lies about me and going on a campaign of ensuring i am cut off from everyone, all attempts over the years by family members to show her that she was being malicious to me went on deaf ears, she spent most of the discussions denying every thing i accused her of doing to me and convincing everyone that i am a liar. I have personally approached her on several occasions to see if i could get her to change but that also failed.

Not to long ago she claimed that she came to visit my family and i since i was pregnant with my daughter and close to delivery, while she was around she almost destroyed my marriage by sowing seeds of discord between my husband and i, she went as far as gossiping about me with everyone that cared to listen; this included my friends and neighbours , it became so stressful for me that i couldn’t take it anymore, she did not even consider that i was heavily pregnant. One faithful day i told her she had to leave, out of my house and my life before she manages to destroy the best things in my life, that until she repents and realizes the errors in her ways i was not willing to relate with her again, while it was disheartening for me to take that action it was the most liberating thing i have ever done. Rather than repent, my mother have again gone on a campaign of letting her minions know that I “chased” her out of my home and that i’m so ungrateful after all she had done for me.

Sometimes when you push a child to the wall you never know what they might do,while i could never dream of killing my mum, the anger and rage she evoked in me could have easily led me to a dark place if not for the grace of God. The general idea of a mother is someone who is nurturing and ever loving, my experience have been far from that, there are things my mother did that i cannot even add to this writeup. A lot of nigerian parents do not know anything about parenting a child, their mentality is that you should raise a child the way your parents raised you, this approach involves flogging the child and abusing him/her emotionally as one wishes, there is nothing systematic to it. While some of these children grow up and forgive their parents, even going as far as replicating their upbringing on their own kids, some realize that things could have been different and are willing to stop the cycle.

However, the prosecution told the court that his sister, Naima Isa, aged 27 was pregnant, adding that she had a feeble mind...

While responding to the allegation slammed against him, the accused told the court that it was true. “All that has been read against me is true... It was a mistake.”

The prosecutor, Ibrahim Abdulrazak, told the court it lacked jurisdiction to preside over the matter and applied for an adjournment, saying it would enable the police conclude investigation of the case.

Nairaland GeneralCherubium & Seraphim War Continues As Court Adjourns Case by bobonicez(op): 7:43pm On Jul 08, 2014
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday fixed September 29 for continuation of hearing in a suit filed against the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church over leadership tussle.
The plaintiff, Adepoju Arogundade, filed the suit in February, 2009, seeking an order reinstating him as the rightful leader of the C & S Church in Nigeria.
Joined as first and second defendants are the Registered Trustees of the Church and a member of the church, Adebola Adewuja.
The other three defendants are: Remi Beckley, Mary Oshode and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
When the case was called on Monday, Justice Ibrahim Buba asked the parties to return on September 29 for continuation of hearing.
The judge said that the court would hear all pending applications on the date.
In his statement of claim, the plaintiff averred that the C & S Church was founded in 1925 by Emmanuel Abiodun, and registered in 1930.
He averred that the church had a constitution which stipulated the mode of leadership succession.
“The constitution provides that after the death of a leader, the oldest in the church is to assume position as the next leader,” he stated.
According to the plaintiff, after the death of his father, he became the oldest member of the church who should be the leader.
Mr. Arogundade stated that instead of appointing him as his father’s successor, Adebola Adewuja was made the leader.
He, therefore, wants the court to declare the appointment a nullity, saying that it contravened the provisions of the church’s constitution.
He also wants the court to restrain the defendants from further appointing a leader of the church, adding that the tenure of Adewuja had expired.
The plaintiff wants further appointment of the church leader suspended until the case is decided by the court.

TravelNigerian Prostitutes Reveal Their Hell In Europe After Being Tricked Into Joinin by bobonicez(op): 7:17pm On Jul 08, 2014
Nigerian women are being trafficked to Italy under the pretence that they will be working as nannies or in factories – but often end up working the streets as prostitutes.
Their plight has been highlighted by Paris-based photographer Elena Perlino, originally from Italy, who began to notice the presence of young African women working on the streets during her commutes from Turin.

She said: 'I decided to start from this surreal vision to tell a story. I have been working on the topic for several years, focusing mainly on the Italian connection.' Continue...

Perlino reveals that many Nigerian women come to Italy hoping to make enough money from honest work as nannies or factory workers to support their families back home, but are tricked by traffickers into working in the sex trade.

A statement by the Military authorities reads:
“Troops have cleared and taken over Balmo forest in a military operation that lasted throughout the weekend. Prior to the operation, Balmo forest stretching from Bauchi through Jigawa States with links to the fringes of Sambisa forest was used by terrorists as bases and hideouts for launching attacks.

“Terrorists and armed gangs operating in the forests were completely rooted out while some were captured during the operation. Among those captured were two foreigners who are suspected to be mercenaries. Also captured are several weapons and equipment including power generating sets, communication equipment, vehicles, motorcycles, foodstuff and kitchen utensils.

“In another development, over 44 terrorists have died in Kerenoa and adjoining communities, following an encounter with troops who repelled their attack on the communities. Armed with IEDs and other high caliber weapons, a large number of terrorists had carried out a predawn attack on the communities but met with stiff resistance of the troops. During the operation, several of them were captured as well as weapons and ammunitions of various calibre.

“Meanwhile, troops on routine patrol around Banki and Miyanti in Borno State during the weekend fought through an ambush laid by terrorists resulting in casualties on both sides. Sports2014 World Cup: Enyeama, Other Players Get $130,000 Each by bobonicez(op): 6:09pm On Jul 07, 2014
According to reports, Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and a few other players received $130,000 ( N21 million) each as appearance fee for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

“It was not a flat rate, but some of the players like Enyeama, who were involved in both the qualifiers as well as the World Cup in Brazil got as much as $130,000,” an official told AfricanFootball.com.

The money is outside the match bonus and daily allowances they were paid. Team officials were also reportedly not left out as some of them received $25,000. But According to the football site, there were disagreements over the money, particularly as regards whether those who qualified the team for Brazil 2014 should also get part of the appearance fee.

"There was a big issue among the senior players whether those who were part of the qualifiers should also get something. At the end of the day, Joseph Yobo prevailed that they also have to be included. So, even some players like John Utaka & Raheem Lawal, who played just a couple of qualifiers, will also get something" An official said

CelebritiesI Love To Be A Free Lady, I Won't Get Married ––singer Belinda by bobonicez(op): 11:12am On Jul 04, 2014
Singer Belinda Ekua Amoah (stage name Mzbel), is one of those babes that find it difficult to be loyal to a man and she's not ashamed to say so. In fact she can have a boyfriend but not marriage. Her words below:
I am not looking forward to marriage because I do not want to feel dedicated to anyone. I want to be my own woman and infact, I am enjoying being a single parent.
I have no problem being in a relationship; infact, I am currently dating but marriage is a no go area for me. I am a hard working woman with three kids and all this while, I have been doing everything on my own so I don't see the reason why I would allow myself to be pinned down all in the name of love and marriage. I want to be a free bird. If I get married...
My children will not get the best of me as I will have to divide my attention. My children need me more and I would like to dedicate the rest of my life to them so that they do not have to share me with anyone.

Moreover, I have seen how terrible some marriages end, some to the extent of the woman committing suicide and knowing how fragile I am, I do not want to find myself in any of such situations. The bottom line is, I am an independent woman and getting married will spoil things. I am happy the way I am!

BRT Bus Kills Soldier, Colleagues Unleash Terror On Drivers, Passengers, Onlookers At PalmGroove

A BRT bus just killed a soldier this morning at Palm groove, Onipanu, and his colleagues have stormed the area, stopping BRT buses, beating the drivers including innocent passengers. According to a source even onlookers are not spared. They have currently blocked a part of the road and are destroying any BRT bus in sight.

This has caused a lot of commotion and I hear other BRT drivers are not willing to leave the park, especially those plying that route. So a lot of passengers are likely to be stranded this morning. Please it’s not a joke avoid the route if you can.

Nairaland GeneralBoko Haram Sleép With Me & Free Those Girls; I'm Still Waiting ––singer Adokiye by bobonicez(op): 10:45am On Jul 04, 2014
Female singer Adokiye has dared the dreaded Boko Haram leader, Shekau, again to take her virg-inity and let the school girls return to their parents. She is very serious and here's what she told Bella Naija about it:

Let’s set the records straight, Is this a publicity stunt to promote your music and image?
I made an open offer to some group of people. The question is why they haven’t accepted my request? They should gather up the girls, prepare them for release and then I am sure they will find out if I’m still a virgin.
Publicity card to promote my music and image? Let me even ask! Promote what music? I have not released any music or plan to even release any music anytime soon. So what music am I promoting?
As for my image, if crying for freedom for the release of innocent children, a reminder to the nation that kids are still missing is promoting my image, then I say to you, let my image soar!
Why are you so open about your virg-inity?

Virg-inity has its own spiritual benefit. A lot of girls that are virgins think virginity is not worth keeping probably because they are being mocked and called names, a lot of people say virginity is lack of opportunity. So I am using this great opportunity to let the world know that if you are a girl and a virg-in, oh you have a precious gift.

Do you feel in any way that your statement degrades women and trivializes the plight of the girls?
It can only degrade a woman who does not appreciate womanhood/motherhood. If you are a true woman, you would understand my fight.

Do not miss the point, focus on my fight. Don’t get me wrong, I am not promoting rape or pleading to be raped as what some people are making the situation seem like a joke but whatever those kids are going through, because we cannot see them, I would say should be thrown to me instead and allow them be freed.
I want to use this opportunity to apologise to all the women around the world who have gotten my fight twisted for some reasons or the other to see this as not only a selfless service to humanity but to fall back to the biblical times where Jesus urged us to be our brothers keeper and love others as we love ourselves.

How do you feel about how viral your statements have gone?
“I thank God. As noisy as I may sound, I thank God there are still intelligent people who understand my fight and where I am coming from. It’s also a reminder to me again that indeed I have a mission here on earth. My point is very simple. I want the world to be restless until the kids are returned.

How does your partner feel about the statement?
I don’t have a boyfriend and I am not planning to have one anytime soon. I would say it is a distraction to me for now.

Why the need to publicly state that the sect should come and take you?
Forgive me to say that I am an Intelligential and I understand that the media has got a way of making people get things twisted, I get it and I don’t feel bad at all. I thought by now, His Excellency, our Number one man, the President would have assigned reputable youths, intellects who share the same dreams with him, youths of our nation who can help to reduce this trauma we are going through. The world has gone digital and youths are digital. Our nation’s youths are intelligent to fight this fight with our government.

I stand by my words to say I DON’T MIND BEING AN EXCHANGE FOR THE RELEASE OF THOSE KIDS SO THEY CAN GO BACK TO THEIR FAMILIES. Whatever it is they are going through, for them to be released should be thrown to me. And If they have turned the young girls to their séx slaves, they should consider releasing them and turn me to one.

Nairaland GeneralHow I Became A Sex Slave To My Aunty, Now A Sex Addict! Male Reader Writes by bobonicez(op): 1:20pm On Jun 28, 2014
Hey Blessing, how are you doing today plus good job on the blog...
I wish to use your medium to reach the world about my predicament. When I was 12 my aunt moved in with us and she had to share the same room with me. She was found of always kissing me on the lips and telling me I have a lovely body and my P is kinda big for a boy of 12.
Then she took it further when i was 14. I returned home after JSS3 terminal exams and on this fateful afternoon i was in the sitting room playing PS when she called me to come and help her with something...when i entered the room she had towel on and one way or the other she let it slip and she was all naked in front of me.

I wanted to rush out but insisted i stay...that she want me to help her apply rub on her back along the line she gave me head and we had sex and that was my first time...
We continued having sex and later it became a nightly ritual. I returned to school but always dreaming of home and as God will have it mum decided its better i attend day school so she can monitor me as i grow into puberty...
I was so happy and we continued our nightly rituals till i clocked 18 and a few months when she got married, the first few months was hell as i have to masturbate before i can sleep then i became a regular face in brothels that asawo calls me asawo boy..
I have really worked on myself and i am getting over my addiction but the problem now is 3months ago i moved in with my aunt for my 1 year youth service, though her 3 kids and husband are lovely folks who loved me..my aunt is at it again.

2 weeks ago her husband travelled and i do my best to avoid going close but last night i was watching Algeria vs Russia when she walked into the sitting room with a skimpy night dress with nothing under the transparent green short gown... before i could compose myself she was all over me on the chair and we had it all night...she apologised that it won't happen again this morning, but I feel i should move out before this lands me in trouble

Nairaland GeneralThe Most Dangerous Selfies Yet? Scores Of Teens Compete To Come Up With The Risk by bobonicez(op): 4:05pm On Jan 04, 2014
There's a new game this year called the 'Selfie Olympics' and after three days, it's already become an internet sensation among teenagers and those who are young and careless at heart.
Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter users are asked to join in the game of making the most dangerous and outlandish selfie ever and to then post it on social media.
Business Insider reports that a facebook page created this morning already has 30,000 likes. There are over 28,000 pictures on Instragram already, and the selfie game is trending on twitter.

The photos display anything from a girl riskily hanging by the door from her shirt snapping a selfie, to an older man with six-pack abs taking a photo without his shirt.
One popular selfie olympics photo teenagers are taking displays the photographer throwing an i-phone or i-pad into the air to take a selfie mid-flight--hopefully not pre-break.
Selfie daredevils have gone as far as to do a headstand in the sink or even somehow levitate in the air.
Previous photo trends have included 'Planking' in 2011 and 'Vadering' in 2013, reports the website Voxxie. The 'Selfie Olympics' seem to be the most dangerous social media trend yet.

Nairaland GeneralI Can Act Nude For $50m – Amanda Ebeye by bobonicez(op): 3:19pm On Jan 04, 2014
an act nude for $50m – Amanda Ebeye

Amanda Ebeye
Amanda Ebeye tells Ademola Olonilua why she does more of soap operas than Nollywood movies
You once said that some of your friends who are actresses encouraged you to become an actress. How did they manage to do that?
I had a particular friend who was taking me for auditions. Back then, auditions were held at the National Theatre and Winnie’s Hotel in Surulere (Lagos). Actors would hang around and wait for audition notices. Those were the two most likely places artistes converge for auditions. My friend knew I always wanted to act and she was acting partly but in smaller roles. She was and is still more of an actress than a model till date. We are not really close friends anymore.

You became popular in the television series, Clinic Matters; is there any difference between you and the character you portrayed in the soap?
Yes, it’s a world of difference between the character, Abigail and I. Abigail is known to be very nosy, she is two-faced and has issues and controversy surrounding her. She also gossips a lot. I talk but not to the detriment of other people. I was only portraying a character to the best of my understanding at that time.
But do you gossip, and are you temperamental in real life as you act in the soap opera?
Yes. I could be a little bit temperamental but not a big time gossip like Nurse Abigail. I talk too but who doesn’t? I can never scandalise, lie or bring people down; never. On several occasions I’ve had a lot of people say, maybe when I get upset, I yell. They assume I am just as Nurse Abigail in reality. It is very funny because whatever I portray is what I would have done if I was truly that character. It is not who I am. If I was a gossip, a liar, a prostitute, a pilot; it is all in my head, it is my imagination, my creation and not who I am in real life. But when people talk like that, I feel honoured because I feel I gave the character my best shot.
Has your celebrity status helped you get favours?
Yes, I get loads of favours because people are always nice to me, especially my fans. I get easy favours and preferential treatment. I don’t have to queue; I don’t have to pay for certain things.
You are also a model; how did that happen?
I got into modelling before acting. My family lives in Benin. It was actually modelling that brought me to Lagos. I had jobs with Unity Bank, UBA, Emzor Paracetamol and others.
How did your parents take it when you got into modelling?
My mum was more interested in my education. My dad didn’t want to hear of it but my mum didn’t mind as long as I got a degree. Immediately I finished my studies, she allowed me.
Can you remember how much you were paid for your first role and how you felt about it?
I can’t really remember. I think it was N5, 000 or thereabout. I didn’t care about the money, I was so happy. Valucci was the director’s name and I got there just when the audition was about to end. The name of the movie was Weeping Tiger. I was late for the audition but the director saw me and still called me to read. That was how I got the role. I was in Jim Iyke’s music band. It was unbelievable. I was walking on sunshine because it was the happiest day of my life.
Why do you do more of soaps than movies?
There was a time I stopped doing movies and concentrated on soap operas. That was between 2009 and 2011. And since 2011, I have been doing strictly movies apart from Bella’s Place that is owned by Royal Roots.
Can you act nude?
I cannot act nude but like I have said before, if you pay me about $50m, I will. Please who is the first to pay?
Nollywood actresses have on some occasions shaved off their hair for a role. Can you do same?
I can shave my hair because I’m an actress. If the role requires it, if it is a beautiful script and the money is good, I will do it. It will not be because it is the trend. It is not because Mercy Johnson did it so I should, no, that is not a good enough reason. Right now, the script has to be outstanding for me to be interested in shaving off my hair.
Your mother is a fashion designer. Did it influence your decision to become a model?
I’m not a dress model, I wasn’t ever. I was more of a photography model, so my mum being into designs had nothing to do with it.
What were your early days like?
I was a stubborn kid. I was never a tomboy. I don’t know how to bounce or sag for the world but stubborn fighting for my rights and the rights of others, yes. I always wanted to defend others in need. That’s why often they used to say I knew how to ‘buy’ other people’s matter. But my friends would say I had and will always have the heart of a child because no matter how much I fight you, I’ll always feel bad and be the first to tell you sorry.
Can you remember your first kiss ever? How did you feel?
Yes I can and it was wonderful. I felt it was the best thing at that time but I don’t think so anymore.
Most times, rich men love having affairs with actresses, do you have any ‘sugar daddy’ or has any approached you before?
I’m sorry I don’t have any, sugar daddy, because I don’t get attracted to you become of what you have. There are other criteria you have to meet and not money. You might be poor but if we work, then we can flow. You don’t have to be rich. I’m simply not ruled by anything but my feelings. So, if I don’t feel for you and you have the whole world, it simply won’t work. So, what might rule others can’t rule me.
If you could turn back the hands of time, what would you want to change?
Some movies I did last year. Oh lord I wish I could wipe them out.
Are you in a relationship?
No, I’m not in a relationship at the moment.
What kind of man are you attracted to?
I like a God-fearing man; one that respects me and can protect me. I would love a man that loves me; someone that can be my best friend and is knowledgeable and smart because I need to learn from him.
Some women complain that Nigerian men are not romantic. Do you agree with that school of thought?
I don’t agree with it because not all the apples in a bag taste the same way. Some might have gone soggy, some might still be fresh, and some might have spoiled completely. So, there might be some Nigerian men that are not romantic, but there are quite a lot of them who are. That’s my belief.
Would you rather marry a Nigerian or a foreigner?
I am very indifferent. I would get married to whoever God wants me to be married to.
What are you currently working on?
Right now, I’m enjoying the holiday season with my family. After the festivities, work begins. I want to have this little time when I don’t have to think about work.
