EFCC is totally compromised, they turned blind eyes to all the sleaze in the office of Chief of Staff to the President on PFIPC saga. They turned blind eyes to Yaya Bello's B70 billion fraud. They turned blind eyes to gross mismanagement of public funds across all APC states, then Osun is their target.

All points to the fact that the EFCC is not an independent body, it's just an extension or an appendage of any incumbent executive. For instance, Yahwa Bello was "marked" because he was the only APC candidate that refused to step down for BAT, BAT eventually emerged and they just allowed the dust to settle for a while before dealing with him. It wasn't surprising that EFCC took interest in his case that even the EFCC boss was fuming and and seemed taking thing personally on live TV with various allegations and evidences.

After awhile, despite all those allegations and the boss insistence that he would see get to the end of the case, Yahya Bello suddenly became a good boy, taking selfie with BAT and all allegations swept under the carpet.

See politics! The whole narrative still favor the president and the APC-led government. The President is acting as if he's empathizing with the opposition but they all know what they are doing. EFCC CAN'T place a PND on a whole state statutory allocation account without the knowledge of the FG.

What are the state actors saying or doing in all of these. Obviously, one of the evidences of a failed state. Inaction or silence could also be a state policy.

One way of identifying a good leader is a leader that understand and is passionate about the concept of social justice, constitutionalism (in this context) that state or non state actors can't act out of the law when dealing with others.

Even in the midst of bloodshed and wanton killings, we have leaders that supposedly utter statements like is Evans a herdsman, where are the cows? thereby trivializing pertinent issues.

Until we act and work on the principle of: an injustice to one is an injustice to all then injustice will continue to be a matter of "when" and not "if"

The knowledge from these courses may be important, inspiring and uplifting but they should be studied outside the 4 walls of a university; and these should be studied only by those who automatically just have passion and interest in them.

Even before the advent of AI, some courses ought to have been relegated or dropped. Why go to the university and spend 4/5 years to study courses like Sociology and Anthropology, Music, History, International Relation, English, Political Science, etcetera. Can't we just have one or two institutes(either at the national or int'l level) that focus or specialize on each of those disciplines? These institute will do the research work, publish it online and those who have interest or passion on any of the disciplines will learn from it. Also, feedback, contribution, reassessment can also be relayed to the institutes.

Some people just like wasting their time and money

They're neither wasting time nor money. Political Parties receive certain funds from the INEC, this ensures some kind of balance and level playing ground. PDP also did the same during their 16 years rule. They create and sponsor some parties to get more funds, more presidential/governorship "step down" and to weaken the votes or divide the votes of the major contenders.

Roosters are prone to panicking, hence the idiom "chicken out". They are easily terrified... Imagine, hearing unusual unabated loud noise for hours...

This is more democratic and liberal. Someone who uses 4 years can be more impactful and more logical than someone who has used donkey years. Adams Oshiomole fought for this, he won and a big congratulations to him.
