sirnewton20:No be only Lagere and Mayfair ooo. Massive infrastructural developments are ongoing in different places in Ile Ife. |
Adeleke will beat him hands down. I'm based in Ile Ife and I can decipher that most people- like 85 percent are in support of the Adeleke's government. |
His burnt body arrives in Iraq, nice one! History will remember him as a man who "played God" over 91 million people for decades, using some nonsensical fatwas. |
Tenses:"annihilated" A country of 91 million people That even a significant number is not even in support of the regime. Which kind mind do you get sef How many people died in all the world wars![]() |
Lithiumite:They don't want to kill it, they only intend to scare it out of the car bonnet. |
The snake might dislocate some of the car components. If not, they should have left the innocent, non-venomous snake alone. I remember service year then. A friend in Enugu was constantly complaining of having snakes as neighbors while me in Jigawa was constantly complaining of hot sun. |
Majority of the comments here are highly insensitive. I can't believe some Nigerians can be this cruel with words. |
Reverseng:Well profound and insightful. |
Reverseng:Thanks a lot, I'll go through them. |
Iseoluwani:The knowledge from these courses may be important, inspiring and uplifting but they should be studied outside the 4 walls of a university; and these should be studied only by those who automatically just have passion and interest in them. |
Even before the advent of AI, some courses ought to have been relegated or dropped. Why go to the university and spend 4/5 years to study courses like Sociology and Anthropology, Music, History, International Relation, English, Political Science, etcetera. Can't we just have one or two institutes(either at the national or int'l level) that focus or specialize on each of those disciplines? These institute will do the research work, publish it online and those who have interest or passion on any of the disciplines will learn from it. Also, feedback, contribution, reassessment can also be relayed to the institutes. |
Erin wó (The elephant has fallen). A legendary actor! Cool, calm and collected. He celebrated his birthday about two or three month ago here in Ile Ife( OAU/Igboya) but as the saying goes 'life is but a walking shadow'. |
Usual rant... About two or three months, he said a civilization will be ending that night. He also said the country's military had been obliterated. Maybe 'obliterated' now has another meaning. |
All because a book said so. As a result of indoctrination from a book, Someone who beheads(while chanting Allah akbar) a fellow person like him will make it to the paradise while the beheaded person will find himself in hell. |
The irony is that he secured tens of millions votes in the primary and he's willing to still spend almost half a decade in power. |
Countries like South Korea, UAE, Saudi Arabia should realize the fact that the US isn't a reliable partner. I read that South Korea and Taiwan stopped their nuclear weapon production because the US assured them of protection. I believe they will be regretting such now. |
This is a great lesson. Countries should stand on their own and not rely on the promises of others. The world only respect powerful countries and not protegees. |
This policy only shows the daftness of some of our public officials. First, innocent POS business owners that stay within 200 miles will have to suffer for a weird and daft idea that is clearly ineffective. Also, aren't there better ways of addressing the criminalities that are perpetrated by these evil men in black. |
Mr. Stealing is not corruption knows that he's not getting votes from the 19 northern states. He might just be working for APC. |
The various contradictions in the new testament point to the fact that it might be a created fantasy. For instance, the resurrection story despite being a grand, classic and unprecedented event, yet this story is riddled with numerous contradictions, Matt, Mk, Lk and Jn stated different things on what happened to the tomb, who appeared at the tomb site, who rolled the stone, who spoke with who and who first saw Jesus amongst others. |
Hope they carry as many new crutches along? |
sammsimm:They're neither wasting time nor money. Political Parties receive certain funds from the INEC, this ensures some kind of balance and level playing ground. PDP also did the same during their 16 years rule. They create and sponsor some parties to get more funds, more presidential/governorship "step down" and to weaken the votes or divide the votes of the major contenders. |
Roosters are prone to panicking, hence the idiom "chicken out". They are easily terrified... Imagine, hearing unusual unabated loud noise for hours... |
This is more democratic and liberal. Someone who uses 4 years can be more impactful and more logical than someone who has used donkey years. Adams Oshiomole fought for this, he won and a big congratulations to him. |
Someone rightly said it and no one can say it better. "Big man palava" |
I remember 1, 2 and 4 very well. The first ad was about paracetamol or pandol. A man who just returned from work with headache. He rejected the warm greetings from his wife. The wife wondered what could be the cause(I still vividly remember the gesticulation), she put one of her finger on her head and thought of the drug. She gave her husband two tablets of the drug and a glass of water. The man took it and later became cheerful and happy. I saw the ad when I was in primary school either pry 4/5. |
Until these animals-soldiers are being treated like animals that they're by irate youth, they won't learn their lesson. It's only in Nigeria that soldiers act like common thugs. The dignity of the human person is sacrosanct and some nonsense guys shouldn't be allowed to trample with it. Nigerians, most especially southerns are just being docile and cowards and I just pray that a time will people will realize and act and always act on the belief that 'an injustice against one is an injustice against all'. If those cowards in uniform know that passerbys will challenge them, they wouldn't have acted that way. |
richiejedi:It's very possible for the man not to be infected. Women are mostly at risk of the virus due to their physiological and anatomical make-up. For males, it's mostly through anal sex that can pose significant risk and that explains why gays are mostly infected than heterosexuals. Also, ARV drugs help to manage the CD count of an infected person and that further explains why the man may be uninfected. FYI, I have seen and interacted with a couple where the wife is infected and the husband is not. |
MemphitzDgreat1:You mean senile old fool that's being tagged as "Master strategist". The same Kalu that spent some time in Kuje due to a lot of corruption charges is now in the red chamber. Bamidele is just there to defend the interest of his former Boss. Aleiro that stated that herdsmen have the fundamental human right of movement and they can move across any length and breath of the country despite the obvious massacre, kidnapping and other security problems. The national assembly is being chaired by someone with corruption allegations and some sort of notoriety. The likes of White Lion with obvious notorious pasts and obvious EFCC allegations is aiming to use the red chamber as his retirement plan under the APC platform. |
This shows that democracy has been dumped in the bin. Virtually all democratic principles have been undermined by those in power. Posterity will never forgive them. |
But what if a player actually has soakaway in his mouth? So players should just endure one another. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Both the borrower and the lender are thieves or just plainly greedy. There is no business or economic sense to borrow 850k and pay back 2.1m |
A country of 91 million people
