Thundafireseun:Him dey use style useless the DSS be that. Make DSS come help you find your phone ![]() |
He should summon the maliakas against the thief. |
tpain121:Israel military installations, ports and refineries were attacked. Many residential buildings were destroyed some fully and some partially. THERE WERE OVER 40 THOUSANDS claims/pleas for property compensation from residents and these claims were worth billions of dollars. Israel seriously downplay the deaths and injury rate, in fact, news media outlets in Israel need military approval before they can publish anything about the war. Trump himself affirmed that Israel was badly destroyed that Israel had to plead for a ceasefire. |
Ttipsy:There's no issue in countering terrorism but on a legal and political standpoint, the US doesn't have any legal right to forcefully claim any part of a country's territory. Also, the US doesn't have the locus standi to unilaterally combat world's terrorism especially in far away Asian continent, such has to be done within the confine and collective agreement of the UN Security Council. |
bjdon:residential building structure as public asset Even if they turn it to a public hotel or amusement park. Can you visit there or allow your kids to visit there? Although destruction or demolition isn't the best way but I think the best is to turn it to a sort of lodge or quarters for military/combat officers with the hope that the area and its axies would be more secured. Also, with that, more distress calls in the vicinity would be attended to easily and promptly. With time, the officers that stay in those buildings would have access to intelligence info from the residents which would be used to stem the tide of criminalities in the community and in the state at large. |
I want to believe the demolishments have court backings otherwise those actions are jungle justices and anarchical acts. |
This post sounds and suggests something 'sponsored'. |
First, the idea of making fun or making light of someone's tragedy is a moral or ethical issues and NEVER a criminal offence. Charlie Kirk may be considered as a hero or martyr to some, but to others he may be seen as a villian or a vermin due to some of his shocking ideas and opinions. For instance, someone that called George Floyd a scumbag and that his death didn't warrant national attention. The irony is even that George Floyd's death was even more horrific and henious than that of Charlie's death. The US govt now want people to show or display some sort for empathy to the same person that once said the word empathy is a made-up word and not even in his dictionary. |
To be fair on the FCT Minister, Sowore misquoted him and made some sensational punchline out of that. If the Minister decided to sue him for libel/slander, it would look like an attack on the opposition. |
Such a high-rise and sophisticated building ought to have two or more exit or emergency routes. Those deaths and injuries are highly preventable but for our "anyhowness". |
An extravagant, overbloated and zero fiscal discipline government CAN'T be trusted with the huge savings from subsidy-removal and a humongous tax policy that's on its way. |
dederocs:Apt! Not only that, a serious nation or governor would also ensure that no one is kidnapped along that route again. |
The gas cooker is even short in my own estimation. If it's now tall nko, so na to dey use ladder instead of stool. |
Some of us that taught ourselves how to drive, I think we're very few in number. |
DSS did not say pim when over 100 souls were killed by bandits just this last week but trying to stiff the voice of reason of someone who has the courage to call the government out. |
Nigeria can't be among, lai lai... A country that prioritizes the old order of doing things can't move forward. A wasteful and prodigious govt that spent #21 billion for the VP official residence as if Osibanjo has been living in a hut all the while. A govt that budgeted #1.5 billion just for the official vehicle for the office of unconstitutional first lady and yet the first lady that's not in the league of Rabiu, Dangote, Otedola can still conveniently "dash out" 1 billion naira to organizations a number of times. Nigeria would have been on a higher pedestal had it been the good policies of the government such as the floating of the exchange rate, the subsidy removal and a good number of developmental projects are accompanied with fiscal discipline. |
A whole 12 armed security officials just in ONE single operation ![]() |
The man didn't pose any serious security threat so why the shooting? What happens to arrest or incarceration? Also, overzealousness and religious pomposity led to his death and nothing more. A lesson for spiri koko people to keep their emotions in check. Our thoughts and aspirations should be from a logical and unselfish point of view; imagine if thousands of people also claim to have a revelation for a particular eminent person, we can imagine how chaotic that would be. |
ayusco85:From the original post, it's clear that it's a domestic/family or couple matter and NOT a formal or business matter. It's very unromantic for couples to be counting scores. I occasionally collects 2k or 3k from my wife for conveniency reasons and I do give her money in 10's of thousands to do things for herself far far more than the times I collect from her. So it will be an ungrateful act if she asked or reminded of some little money that I might have even forgotten. What she's saying is that she can't make any sacrifice or tolerate any loss but me the constant giver is free to keep giving her and tolerating loss. |
Caaz:That mentality is not good. It shows ungratefulness and entitlement mindset. I urgently needed 1k to give someone, I asked you and you gave it to me. That same evening, I decided to dash you 10k out of my freewill, you collected it, thanked me and yet still tried to remind me of my 1k debt. You too think am now ![]() |
The story seems made up and and it's riddled with ignorance. First, it's medically possible and very common for a biological father's blood not to match with his biological child. Also, the elder son or two sons story seems rushed, muddled and mixed-up. |
Dollar no longer king keh... As at today, 2nd of Sept, if you want to buy Dollar you will pay between 1600 and 1700+ while you can sell for nothing less than 1500. The selling rate has been hovering between 1500 and 1550 for some months now so what's it to celebrate about ![]() |
Shawarmagirl:"So if the so-called Professors did not thought you too well, will you also have the gots to type in English and spell correctly?" |
BondRiv:This a deliberate distortion of fact and a shameful disinformation. This is the exact words of Bush: 'I believe when it's all said and done, free nations will not allow the United Nations to fade into history as an ineffective, irrelevant debating society' |
As someone opines, this is clear politicization of attendance and a clear violation of int'l principles. I saw the news yesterday where the US said its decision is based on the fact that the PLO/Abbas has never for once condemned the Oct 7 attack. Failure of the US to rescind its bullying and shameful decision, then the coming UNGA ought to be moved to another country. |
That's very correct. Governors don't have power to remove elected LG chairmen. |
To show respect for their deceased and to avoid body or body parts being stolen for ritual purposes. |
It's not just enough that justice is done but it is seen to have been done. |
