Emyogalanya:Like seriously? How sure are you? |
With the level at which Nigerians are still clamouring for dissolution after living for over a century together shows that something is fundamentally wrong with the foundation. In 1914, southern Nigeria and northern Nigerian merged despite the visible differences in our culture, traditions and religious belief. This differences are still definitely much glaring in the way we think, act and live. This as well has slowed down the pace and development at which the south and north should've attained. Of course, the blame game is still on as to which of the coast is responsible for the country woes. Does Lord Lugard put all these into considerations before merging the two coasts or does it mean our fore fathers begged him to do so on our behalf? His children (great-grand) should be allowed to tell us what their father saw or the rationale behind this. Thanks. |
iampeterben:Same here @ giwa. |
This is Nigeria, nobody resigns. Those of us calling for his resignation won't resign as well if we do something wrong. Our political structures is anti people, our leaders shielded themselves so much that nothing can really challenge or remove them while in office. It's high time we change this rubbish. Our own democracy is China made. |
I don't know why our politicians usually to deny the obvious. You're simply a terrorist apologist sir! |
What do you expect from a true omoluabi. |
Modphase:He has achieved far more than you do in his 'miserable' life. Show some respect plz. |
Tell me it's not true! This man couldn't get to see Nigeria's dissolution. Chai |
Congrats to him. Well deserved. |
omenka:They are all hypocrites. All they do is to blame Buhari and Tinubu. Now they've added sanwo olu to it. This is the time to call out peter obi and Jonathan but they won't. I only blame the Yorubas that fall for their antics. In 1966, they kill others with guns while they keep their own, now they kill others with words of attack while they shield their own who are equally guilty of same thing. |
Incognito403:They can't. Have you forgotten Tinubu is not there |
christistruth01:Exactly! Infact, I'm expecting the same energy and aggression used on lekki stuff here for the anambra saga too. |
Elvictor:Does this comment even make sense to you at all? Pathetic! |
DenreleDave:Leave them alone. Dem go hear am. They shouldn't forget the spirit of the protest is not like the first one. The people are more divided now. |
Mgbadike80:They need to grow some balls. Meanwhile, their leaders want to be in the good books of the Fulanis because of 2023, so they have to trade their people for the imaginary presidential shot. Na only Tinubu dem sabi shout for here. |
Over here we don't make noise at all We talk and action follow shaperly. |
Karlovic:Unfortunately, your leaders and your people in your region and villages are also facing the same fate, and there's no one to help them. Stop rejoicing over this cos the yorubas are tackling the problem head on, you should be more concern about your people. Thanks. |
SweetVibe:No! You're just being childish and selfish too. If you're also in his shoe, you won't do anything different. You all expect him to come out openly and bash the government, not that you like his people to that extent o, but just to see the government of the day turned against him, and see him fall. That's all. But Tinubu is wiser than you all. |
AmbaliJ:Don't mind them. If they hadn't support PDP candidate in the past, and a Fulani for that matter, people would've seen them in different light. I expect them to be apolitical but no. They always tackle whatever APC does. Now they want Tinubu to join them openly to be bashing the same government he helped form. Who does that? There are underground ways of doing this and I know Tinubu is doing it. |
These people should leave Tinubu alone and face their course. He isn't the only Yoruba leader now. Now is not the time to be playing blame game. Do your part as Yoruba leaders and leave others out of it. Besides, Tinubu is not the only Yoruba leader not speaking out at the moment. If Afenifere allows the Fulani leaders in power to capitalize on this division they are bringing up, it will definitely hurt the course. |
Nonexistent:Stop degrading your leaders You're not better than them. Many accuse their leaders for this n that, yet many non leaders are at the ministries in Abuja and their respective states stealing money anyhow and extorting money from people on a daily basis. They won't attend to your file if you don't 'do the necessary' They inflates contract and price/cost of things They tell you oga is not around because you haven't settle them Lackadaisical attitude to work; etc |
While we preach against quota system or preach against nepotism, our message or reaction in appointment like this should not read any ethnic coloration. First, the appointee is a Nigerian and she deserved it, so why thanking Mr president for appointing her (like doing the Igbos a favour). Our leaders should do away with this stuffs. It makes the northerners feel they are doing the igbos a favour (what you're rightly entitled to) I rarely see where the northern leaders thank the FG appoint their people. When appointment comes, appreciate it and move on. No one is doing anyone a favour. We all own Nigeria. |
Nobody will reap my glory in my stead in Jesus name. Amen |
Our president in 4023 |
mbaise1000:Your elders knows the best |
TheStakeHolder:He's a fugitive now. The mistake the likes of this Igbo leaders made was allowing him to have a field day while he was with them. They thought he was the messiah, they didn't know he came to spoil show for them. Now, they are regretting it. Smh |
So is it Nnamdi kanu or IPOB that represent the Igbo? Some intellectual people gathered under the sun to elect a sound and credible leader that can represent a whole race, and you're here spewing thrash as usual. God will help you. |
ArrewaDrugGang:Wait, going by what I read here. He married a governor's daughter, which means he's still balling. No one can be in power forever. Ekweremadu is still in the house, but his influence is going down despite being in power. |
