Congrats to star boy Burna for the Grammy. |
gidgiddy:So with that kind of mentality, you expect the west to sit down and fold our arms like cowards? That sounds more like a failure. Giving up without a fight! The west have done it before during the time of Abiola, and same can be done again. The other southern parts can continue with that kind of wrap mentality, that's not for the west! |
nettpen:If that's what it means to you, then I'm sorry I can't correct you. Orji Kalu was seen moving around, entertaining visitors from different sections of the country, what does that mean to you? Or you think winning elections means sitting in one corner and be threatening other parts of the country to do your bidding? And for the rigging, are you new to the political space to realize that the two main political parties starting from the PDP do rig elections? Are you aware of the shameful Maurice Iwu era when he conducted the then general elections? Pls, ask the elders around if you're too young. |
efighter:One doesn't have to fear the north. Infact, one of the reasons why the north seem to dominate the political space is because of the too much respect whether consciously or unconsciously given to them by the southerners. Now, they act as king, and even in this 21st century, despite the level of education here, we still have that psyche. But the good news is that, it's on record that Abiola from the west defeated his northern opponent with a wide margin. So if other southern part still believe in this northern dominant hoax, then it's left for them. But the WEST will always prove them wrong! |
gidgiddy:And you think all northerners are in support of Atiku? Winning elections is beyond the region you come from, if not Jonathan wouldn't have became a president. It's about lobbying, serious underground work and how you can strategically win the electorates and major political influencers to your side. |
blessmoss:I agree but answer his question. He created the thread for a purpose |
southniyikaye:Which campaign? Did she really lead the first one? C'mon she's just an accidental or opportunist who took the advantage of the protest to blow her unknown career. |
Hoodlums:She should rather come back home instead of instigating nonsense over there. I don't know who's after her yeye life. |
Is this a news or what? I believe there should be a gbeborun section on nairaland so that this kind of thrash can be dumped there. Seun kindly take note. Thanks |
TooMuchStuff:Obi of Onitsha is next on the visit. I hope you won't give yourself heart attack |
donbachi:And in your myopic mind, these people are hungry mofos like you. See, there's something about him that made these top people to be visiting him. I won't be surprised if obi of Onitsha will pay him a courtesy visit soon. |
Duru009:Don't be so pained my brother. Never look down on yourself cos you too can achieve such feat. |
Some said the obas that visited recently are low class obas. They were busy looking for ooni, obi, emir, etc Now, the emir of kano himself visited, what do you have to say to this? Bad belle people everywhere, this same tinubu you keep hating keeps rising even before your very eyes. A great man is a great man no argument, and tinubu is one. |
gentle136:Not the amount of money spent on a wedding that determines the joy and length of it. It takes a lot than flashy things we see here. |
Happy married life to them. Mine is next in Jesus name. Amen! |
Realtord43:You're free to join the ride. Bad blood kills |
Hahaha Some people won't be happy after seeing this. Why? They wish they were jailed! |
Mabizela:Agreed 99.9% |
Kaduna1stson:Do you know what you're saying at all? Stop arguing like a dumb person? Has it been certified that the content in the bullion van is money? Let's even assume it was money, does it belong to the public as in the case of maina? Has anybody or organizations lodged a complain that their money is missing? Maina stole public fund, the sweat of many and he's a thief and will be treated as such. Period! |
Mabizela:Is it not under same Buhari that he was extradited? If maina were to be a Southerner, you would've said he was extradited because he came from the southern part. Now he came from the North, extradited, yet giving excuses that Buhari will soon release him. Haba! What do you want? The FG should behead him? |
TheLionofLasigi:Regionalism is the better or preferable way out of this mess. Let every region develop at their own pace. There'll be less focus at the center cos everyone will hold on to their leaders for accountability. An Igbo doesn't have to cry to a Fulani to be build her road, yorubas doesn't have to cry to an ijaw. Etc |
Hmmm I personally like Pat Utomi, he's done well. But is he ready to contest for the president, that I don't know. Contesting or showing interest goes beyond the lip statement, your works on ground should equally speak for you. That aside, our technocrats should do away with the idea of only coming into the public eye whenever elections is around the corner. That is the area our so called career politicians beat them because they are always strategizing ahead. I checked the profile Nigerians who recently won elections in the USA, what I discovered is that they didn't suddenly realize they want to contest elections, they've been working underground and the people are seeing their works which makes it easier for them to campaign with, impart lives, warm themselves into the heart of the people, then win elections. Let our technocrats also imbibe this act and not necessarily wait the election period before they start telling us who they are. Being a professor or motivational speaker does not guarantee good governance, your work speaks! |
Enyimbamercedes:If not for the British that merged us together, the North should be in the league of chad, Niger, Somalia, etc where they'll be implementing their full backward policies. We need a referendum asap! |
Moferere:Nigeria is a geographical expression with people with different background, culture and ideology. |
Pls, do we really have literates among this hisbah of a thing? Or being a radical illiterate is among the requirements of being a member? What have seen so far in their activities is that they are basically backward in thinking and they belong to the stone age. |
Freestainworld:Dangote sef never stopped making money. All is just publicity stunt and make believe. |
I hear people say this guy talks too much of late, now I can confirm its true. Though I like him but he should reduce his talk. |
HenryThegreat1:How do you mean he's stubborn? Because he made up his mind to follow a noble cause? You mean he didn't consult wide before he decamped? Or because he didn't come to you for advice? Are there no APC leaders like him in the southeast? Or is he bigger and more influential than the likes of Kali and others? Tell me the development the PDP brought to the southeast compared to what it is now. Tell me! |
Amotolongbo:Ooni amaka! |
Congrats to the family of our ooni. |
When will Buhari himself dump the APC? FTC las las... God don answer my prayers be that. Amen!!! |
Bluntguy:But I would like to say many of our state governors are not better than Buhari in governance. Many of them are incompetent too. We only shout Buhari Buhari every time yet, our governors are equally doing nothing. Take some of these people to aso rock, they'll also fail and giving excuses. If you disagree, kindly mention the performing governors in Nigeria at the moment. |
