Good news for Graduate Engineers that did NNPC interview :
Nnpc intends to take in more than the proposed 1300 candidates. Said since NLNG is on the construction of another train and planning on a recruitment exercise, it would go ahead to supply NLNG with mostly mech, civil, gas metmat and production engineers from this very exercise. Other partners in d NLNG joint venture welcome the plan as they really attested to the credibility of the recruitment process. Also the new recruits sharing would be in no particular order of interview or CBT performance as everyone they say was "Lit"

The crowd was discouraging over here in Kaduna. But I moved on, joined the queue, and took my place in the hall. In 30 minutes, I was done, except for the mathematics questions which I had to settle down to redo. I tried to ‘giraffe’ only to find out that my neighbour’s questions were not just rearranged, but the options scattered as well. shocked. That was when I knew this NNPC and Jamb people meant business. Well, I did my best, and my lucky guess on the question of the date of Nigerian Civil War paid off. When I was done, I waited till the last second; they don’t award price for ‘first to finish’. After leaving the hall, some questions I know I failed are as follows: how many Nigerian protectorates in 1914(I chose 3 instead of 2), activities of petroleum upstream and down stream sectors(I ‘banged that as well), and other funny geometric questions. But I think I was good to get 50 out of the 60 questions correctly.

My Interview Experience
The 4 of us called out from the amphitheater were all in the same discipline and from Kaduna also. By the way, I’m in the medical sector. My interview was the shortest when compared to those that went before me. When it was my turn, I was ushered to the room. I asked, ‘can I sit?’ They gave me the go-ahead. Then, I sat majestically. Even though I’m an EH applicant, my CV, being very concise and compressed, was 2 pages, printed on front and back of one leaf, with my references taking even half of the 2nd page. I can imagine the expression on their faces when 6 separate sheets of paper were shared out to all of them before I entered. I didn’t have time to redo another CV. My thinking is ‘who go get job go get job’. After introducing themselves, the Centre man asked, ‘We’ve gone through your CV, so tell us about yourself’. As a smooth talker, I introduced myself, and then I talked about my education and work experience. That was the only part of the interview that was smooth. The first question was related to my field, which I tried, but the lady added to my answer and I nodded. The other parts of the exam—bloody. In fact, I lost 3 pints of blood after their questioning. I never expected ‘ 4 advantages of renewable energy’ as a question, me being able to give only two. My answer to questions on work hazards were not wholly accepted. Even my answer to a question on how I ‘handled a misunderstanding with my boss in the past’ didn’t seem to impress them, probably because my answers were quite short and straight to the point. It was as if they wanted me to be a story teller. But I wasn’t budging. The centre man looked at me, and he said, ‘sorry for keeping you till this late[the interview held 5 hours later than scheduled time]. Do you have any question?’ I replied ‘no’, and I thanked them. I walked out in a somber mood, but all I know is that many factors come into play during such recruitments : factors like my CBT scores, my dressing, my confidence and composure, my state of Origin, etc. So, I ain’t losing hope until there is nothing left to hope on.

Lol. When i told you guys some people had their interview before july 1st, you guys debunked it. Don't be surprised if they have been issued their appointment letters.

This one they are so fast like this...It's like they have a list before or what? Maybe they just need to add few names to the list....Am saying this because last year during the recruitment process in National space research and development agency(NASRDA), after we submitted application we heard nothing again . Only for me to hear that they are already training the new employees.

OK then don't move on pls remain there..Even if I dont get it I will move on. I have moved on from various disappointment so it's not new but I will keep fighting till I get there.

Some people are so funny sha. They haven't gotten APL and they are already advising others to move on,should in case they do not get. I'm just curious about their confidence anyways. I don't pray for them to wake up from their fantasies even if they do not get the APL at last. Like someone posted the other time, some people still believed till today after the 2012 recruitment that nnpc will still call them. Don't be too sure of yourself oga. It will be yours if it's meant for you.

All this one you all are talking is not important to me till I get my APL....All this theories and local men and sauce...I hail una...

My dear I know how painful it could be but it's better he moves on. Same way when the APL is out and you did not get just move on...At the end God will settle you.

Please, I need a response to a pressing issue which I need a clarification to so as to know where not to direct my energy in hunt for job. I studied Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and would like to know the fate and prospect of having a career in oil and gas industry. I wrote the CBT test but didn't get invite for the interview which raise my concern about the relevance of my discipline. I would also like to know if there's any Agricultural Engineer that got invitation for this NNPC interview.

Somebody called me a number telling me he was doing some registration online and he mistakenly put my number on what he was registering, that my number is similar to his number and that the password of what he was registering was sent to my phone which I actually saw as 6310.
He was now appealing to me to give him the reset code that was sent to my phone so that he could finish his registration. I told him to call me with the number he claimed was similar to mine so that I could verify his claim, he told me he didn't have credit in that line.
I got online to find out more, only to discover he was actually trying to reset my bank online/yahoomail password and that he is a fraudster, an account hacker and also a 419er. If I had given him the code which was sent to my phone, he would have used it to reset my bank online/mobile app account.
Please let us be careful and vigilant. Fraudsters are devising new ways every day.

SHOCKING: How the slapping senator abused and killed his ex wife Eucharia Ojukwu (Che Che) from Awka Etiti.

The sister to the deceased Eunice Tochukwu Ojukwu gave this report when she visited the Ikeja office of the Sun newspaper yesterday.

“I am the immediate junior sister of Eucharia Uche Ishiaku who was married to the man you all now know as Senator Elisha Abbo,” she declared. “His real name is Clifford Ishiaku, that’s the name we knew him till we saw the story on social media that he is now a senator.”

Without much ado, Eunice Ojukwu spilled the details.

According to her, the couple met sometime before 2009 and before they got married, he converted from Islam to Christianity. On September 26, 2009, they had their church wedding at a Catholic church in Mubi, Adamawa.

Months after, she took ill and thereafter was treating a regular ailment, not knowing that she had been infected with HIV.

“I got to know about her illness in 2012,” she said.

“On her sick bed, she told me everything that happened, especially how she got to know that she was infected with HIV.

She told me that she later discovered that her husband was already infected but held that information from her while they were dating. Unknown to her, he was going for treatment and was still sleeping with her without protection.

“It was destroying her system gradually and that made her sick.” Someone who observed the frequency of her illness had urged her to go for a general test. The Good Samaritan also paid for the test.

“This was how she found out that she was infected with HIV and that it was at a critical stage. When she confronted him with her result, instead of confessing, Senator Abbo battered my sister mercilessly.”

Ojukwu claimed the family got to know about the battering and made an effort to rescue their daughter from the toxic marriage. “We knew that he was raping our sister. He even tried to bring his friend so that both of them will sleep with my sister at the same time. She took a lot of stitches as a result of anal sex forced on her,” she said.

At a point, their father had contacted Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo in Mubi, begging them to bring back her daughter.

“The day she finally left in 2012, Senator Abbo followed her to the motor park and created a scene. He wanted to drag her back but my father pleaded with the driver to ensure that my sister boards the bus back to our village in Anambra.”

Of her sister, she said: “She was a calm person who did not want to lose her marriage, so she kept the information to herself. There were several fights and when my sister calls me, I will plead with her to leave that man but she will refuse. She believed so much in that marriage until she was very sick. There was an instance where he battered her so much in their house in Abuja and dragged her out of the house naked. Anytime that he was beating her up, neighbours tried to intervene and he’d threaten them with a gun.”

She continued: “When they were in Abuja, he would dump her in the hospital for days, and no one would be there to give her food till the hospital alerted us and we’d send someone to her. We were in and out of the hospital for six months before she died in 2013. When my sister died, he called that he was going to deal with me that I was the one that killed my sister.”

She gave an insight into how her sister met him.

“Eunice said that they started dating during her National Youth Service Corps days in Nasarawa in 2008. He had worked for so many known politicians in the north. He visited their orientation camp and they met and became friends. When our sister came up with the story of marriage, my family kicked against it.

My family was against the marriage because they were not in support of inter-tribal marriage. We do not know much about the northerner and their culture. When she died and I posted it on my Facebook wall, her friends doubted it because Senator Abbo did not say anything about it on his Facebook wall.”

Saturday Sun wanted to know why she is coming out with the story now.

Eunice Ojukwu replied: “I want justice for my sister. In 2013, when my sister died, I posted it on Facebook and no one took it seriously. He was a nobody and I was the daughter of a nobody. Then social media was not as strong as it is now. All I want is justice, let no one be deceived by those tears, he is an evil man.”

In a face-saving video circulate on social media, Abbo had apologized to Nigerians over his shameful action, cutting a figure of a remorseful man.

Ojukwu warned: “We are used to that his crocodile tears, whenever he comes begging. Nigerians should not be deceived.”

Please fellow Nigerians, let us protest until this abusive, unfit leader faces justice for all his crimes.
