Goodlady: How I Helped My Sister With Food Items And Accessories To Take To Canada. Recently, my sister escaped from this hard country to Canada for greener pastures. Many of you knew me on this site as that young girl with sharp mouth. Well, I may be choleric but I m also nice. So this February, sister went to Ontario. I knew she'd miss home. I went to Wuse market and nearby street shops n bought varieties. I waka-waka my rubber slippers cut. My sister is a picky type that eat light foods but she still love our local dishes. She's going to miss home 😭 and I just want her to v her favorite foods as long as she can. Though she can patronize African stores over there too. As I m typing this, I can't wait to see her, am so happy for her and I hope to relocate too via marriage in future. Hm, God when?
Anyways I ll list some of the items as I post them here. They are educative and useful for people going abroad too. There are some items you can take along like razor blades, shaving sticks, stock fish, palm oil, locust beans, garri, beans, rice, onions, matches, polish, makeup props, grinded beans for moinmoin or akara, crayfish, beans, balls, sellotape, dried pepper, potash, bathroom slippers, cleansers, needles and threads to sew post letter tear-tear undies or clothes. 😂 In fact, just carry any small daily use item we use here and conceal them well cos of over sabi long throat immigration officers at airport. It ll shock you you can buy a packet of blade that's not up to N1,000 for over $20 Canadian dollars, that's over N20K in Nigeria. Imagine blade pack kan for N20K? It no shock you? So below are items I packed for her and she's enjoying them there. 😂
Pic 1, Carton of coaster biscuit, table size mortar and pestle for her to grind pepper and packs of match sticks. which pathway did she travel with? via visa type |

For a job visa, you need to have a job offer. Yes you're right, that's it. |

1Alex: Meanwhile you are not alone in this case. But I have concluded to work towards study route. I am a Graduate but going for postgraduate studies no make sense for me. Na money I dey find. So I have decided to Find a certificate or diploma course that will last about one year or at most 2 years. This is to give time for me to plan well while there. But it will be wise to find a course that will be of benefit to in case of emergency. I don't think it's mandatory to get a job from here for the job visa category I'm looking at. People are getting visas without a job offer, I guess you're talking about job visa sponsorship. Studying is cool too, but why spend time studying when I can start working within a short time frame of arrival? That's why I'm looking for more ideas and insights. |
Travel › Study Or Work Visa, Which One Should He Go For? by Bokeeto(op): 10:09am On Feb 11, 2024 |
I've been in a dilemma for some time now, trying to choose which pathway I should use for my japa plan.
I would prefer to go with a study visa(to Portugal or Malta) as I'm more familiar with the process and can do everything myself without much help, and it's also easier to get the visa.
My problem with it is that it's quite expensive, and it will take some time for me to start doing full-time work to save tangible funds and cover up the sources I used in getting the japa capital.
On the other hand, a work visa looks great, but I'm not familiar with the process (I will most likely seek assistance from travel agents I know in person), I don't know the possibility of getting a good job within the time-frame the visa will last.
With study, I'll have to target countries with favorable PR requirements, but with a work visa, I will go for any good one without considering much about PR possibilities.
My major motivation is financial, please which one should I go for
How legit is work visa, looking for jobs on arrival. I need your opinions. Thanks in advance.

Literature › Re: Content Writing. How To Go About It In 2022. by Bokeeto(m): 11:46pm On Mar 29, 2023 |
There are three effective ways to make money online that I know:
1. Dropshipping 2. Affiliate Marketinh 3. Low Content Publishing
You will most likely pay more than $300 to learn each of these from an expert, and if you want to learn it on your own, you'll have to spend a lot of time online.
Do you want to know what I've noticed? Most people are unaware of these issues, and most Nigerians posing as experts are unaware of them too. But, interestingly, when two or more people put their heads together, they actually make it. Check out the success rate of a single person and two or more people collaborating on social media. I've noticed that more than one person can accomplish more.
I have devised a method for teaching these three areas to my interns, and so far, only about 2% of applicants have been successful. It's ironic that I've asked the so-called experts who want to get paid to go through the process as well, and they've all failed. Listen, I don't chase these people away; they voluntarily leave because they soon realized they can't do it. And those who are able to do it always thank me at the end of the day.
A man claimed to be an expert, but he wanted to see what I was talking about. I told him that if he passes the test, I will start paying him right away, but if he failed, that was the end of it.
For the intern, I will continue to teach until the person gets it, but it will be unpaid for the learning period. However, I begin paying once the person has mastered it. The thought of cracking his brain and not making money was not acceptable to him, as it is to many people who believe they know about it. But he told me that his instinct told him to go with the internship option. He thought it would be a simple task, and when he landed in it, he was astounded. He told me that he was relieved not to have to put money forward after two months of rigorous drilling.
The guy spent two weeks learning how to write the articles, which caused him severe headaches, but as soon as he mastered it, I began paying him. And after three months, I told him to open a dropshipping store. Booom!!! I had a feeling he'd hit it big time, and he did. I funded the store, and when he received his share, he was overjoyed. If he wants, he can start doing his own thing.
So, what do I ask my interns and those who want to be compensated for their writing? Ex Case studies articles. Yes, I work with case studies. Listen, if you can write 100 case studies, you are an expert any online entrepreneur will want to invest in.
Yes, I am a coach who hunt for talented people. If you want to learn these three areas and can write, I have the right path for you. Come learn by writing case studies, and you'll be well on your way to success.
If you're interested, send me an email, but first listen:I always ask you to choose between an internship and a paid job. If you choose paid work, I will not give you a second chance. However, if you choose internship, I will continue to teach until you get it. Then you start earning. If you can persevere through the process, you will be well on your way to success. Please Sir I'm interested in learning content writing and working with you, is your internship offer still open for intake? |

Greetings Nairalanders, I would appreciate your candid advice about traveling to UK for my post graduate studies.
I come from a family of 4, all of us are graduates but none is gainfully employed, thanks to Nigeria's bad government system.
We've been struggling to make ends meet for a long time, no notable achievements from we the children.
My mom is late and my dad is a retired civil servant, so recently my elder brother's friend and his wife migrated to the UK.
He told my brother about the process, now my elder brother wants me to be the one to travel to UK so things can change for good in the family.
My people are planning to sell almost all of the landed properties we have, we're looking at 5-6 million naira or more.
I'll be 27 by March next year, I want to know if this is a smart move.
Would this venture worth the risk....
What is life in UK like...
What do I need to have to make it there
What should I expect studying in UK
Which soft skills can fetch me more money
I'm a guitarist here, can I do anything with over there?
Aside from UK, which other countries I can be studying and working part-time to make a living and help my people down here.
Please I would appreciate your contributions, God bless you all.....❤️✊ |
