It is shameful that many Nigerians will always try everything possible to to frustrate efforts of our leaders. Lets learn to appreciate good things when we see one. Feeding over 9 Million school children which we know that most of these children are from very poor homes and cant afford to eat three square meals are home is an aplaudable effort. Let's bear in mind that naturally one cant assimilate well when hungry. So to me, feeding this kids in school will as well bring them to the right state of mind to learn better.

Look at the way he is convienently quoting the LAW to back Linda Ikeji and her wrong ways. That is the same LAW he is accusing Daddy GOs of using to deceive people to collect tithe from them. He even quoted a law of Moses in the old testament to back up his claims. We are no more under the law cos we have been bought from it with the Blood of Jesus. If the law required that a man can have sex with a woman he is betrothed to, such is now a sin in the age of grace which God gave us the moment Jesus Christ died and resurrected.

Romans 7:6

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.


If Freeze can conveniently quote a portion of the law when it soothes him, then he should also apply the below verse to himself as he is currently sleeping with another man's wife who is not yet divorced.

He even boldly claims Jesus Christ and his Disciples didn't change the Jewish marriage customs which is grounded in the LAW of Moses. If he said betrothed couples who are not yet married can have sex, then can he explain what the below verse is saying when it said ''to avoid sexual immorality, each man should have his own WIFE which means marriage, not get betrothed to have sex''?


1 Corinthians 7:2
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.


The JEWISH LAW might allow betrothed couples to have sex till they get married, but we Christians are not under such laws as explained by the above verse. We are not under Judaism. We are under the law of Christ. We are Christians. Imagine how useless ladies will become if they were still under the LAW. Once a man is tired of having sex with his betrothed lady, he will just dump her and move to get betrothed to another one. That means ladies will now be passed around pretty much like what we see today. But Jesus has freed us from such archaic ways by telling us to flee from sexual immorality. The Church doesn't practice betrothal. Neither has it ever preached sex between engaged couples. It only preaches sex in marriage and that those who are not married should flee sexual immorality which is clearly premarital sex, while married couples should flee from adultery.

Hebrew 13:14

4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.


1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body


1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;


Notice how the below verse advises marriage before one can have sex if he or she cannot exercise control.

1 Corinthians 7:8-9
To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

I stumbled on a bible verse today Luke 1 vs 41.
the Bible says and she (Elizabeth) was FILLED with holy Spirit.(Good news)
acts 8 vs 17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they RECEIVED the Holy Spirit.(Good news ).
The question is: is there difference between these two ? i.e to be filled and to receive.

Bible was written by different authors and each author wrote his epistle according to his understanding and according to how he viewed something. i.e, according to the grace given.
I and you may be at a place and give different reports about the place because our reasoning is quite different from each other.
The Bible has been written over 2000 years ago and do u think some ancient scholars wouldnt have taken out some errors if they think errors were there.
on the issue of Judas, what I'm trying to say is; it is not written in the Bible that Judas repented of his sins. The Bible didn't say Jesus would be betrayed by Judas, even if this happens , Judas still had a chance of making heaven if he repents.
He already had a mansion in heaven and God doesn't waste resources, He had to inspire the remaining 11 apostles just to find someone to replace Judas in order for his place in heaven not be wasted.
Judas would have been a man of faith if he had repented of his sins, God doesn't have joy in his children going to hell.
David did foolishly than him, Rahab was an harlot, some Egyptians were saved just because they knew they God of Isreal is powerful in mercy.
The prophecy would surely be fulfilled even by Judas but he might have been one of the fathers of faith if he had repented .

I think one of the main reasons Christan blame Judas is, he never repented of which he had time to repent. He was destined to betray Jesus but he wasn't destined to end up in hell. Peter betrayed Jesus thrice and yet the church was built on him simply because he repented.
Repentance is what brings God's mercy to mankind and not taking a shortcut by committing suicide.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS AND OFFICES
Introduction:
Some years ago before I became a christian, I've always been seeing some men of God speaking in tongues, predicting the future and many other wonderful things. Honestly, my thought then was "FAKE PEOPLE" because I never had the understanding of what they were doing Hos4vs6. My days in school, anytime I see someone in another realm of the spirit I quickly judged that person as a wave to the environment. Though these gifts can be controlled and has its ways of being harmless to the gentiles but to win them for Christ. I met christ in a spirit filled church and since then I've been longing and praying fervently on these gifts to function in my life and during my session of this prayer, I noticed that these gifts can also be faked 2Cor. 12vs14. By the special grace of God I will address these issues here and would want everyone to understand these gifts very well. The Bible says put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. These armors are the spiritual gifts, you can easily torment darkness when you are functioning on one of these gifts than when you are not functioning.
Now let's see what the Bible says 1Cor. 12vs1-11. Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren I wouldn't have u ignorant. Ye know that you are gentiles, carried away into these dumb idols, even as ye were led... being ignorance to the things of the spirit isn't an excuse before God Lev. 5vs17 You just have to seek for knowledge.
Now concerning spiritual offices, this brings a lot of controversy to the body of Christ today because many are called Pastors but they want to be prophets. You can prophesy doesn't make you a propeht, you are functioning on one spiritual gift at that particular time. Eph. 4vs 11-12 And He gave some apostles and some prophets and some evangelists and some Pastors and some teachers for the PERFECTING of the saints for the work of the ministry for the EDIFICATION of body of Christ . I will take my time and write on these very well. You might have seen a poster where a man of God is addressed as both pastor and prophet. Is this possible? you will understand in this write ups.
Take a sit and stay updated as the spirit of God will be telling you which one u fit in. I believe after reading these posts, u will know your "CALL" and who exactly are u sent to. To be continued...
