Segeggs: Woke up from last nite's hangover from clubbing, puts on MTV base, louds the speakers, noodles steaming in the kitchen, pings james to know about tonight's hangout, checks FB page, twitter, 2go, romance and section of nairaland, kemi beeps to tell of tunji's internet scam success, calls tunji only to hear of celebration at a club 2nite, posts it on twitter and FB for more youths to know, gets his skinny jeans and supra to meet kelechi outside with his camry muscle...of we go with no care about tomorrow, afterall...samething we do everynite,pinky...---naija youth.lol, a perfect illustration of what the problem is, |
Exponental: No one is tempting u....... U are lust in what u hear n see. Everyday, we see ladies wear skimpy dresses, infact, we see ladies pants everyday, but this is not tempting to many of us. Adjust ur reasoning n survive dis nayked world.God bless u broda, u just hit the nail on the head, the OP is lusting after somebody's wife, no body's tempting u, as per the noise, that's non of your business, it's cos u're lusting after her that's why u're hearing their love making noise, stop lusting after her, NA WA!!! |
musKeeto: Lol @ ijawkid... Especially the ND.. That place dey 4ked, I swear...if everybody chooses to mind his own business it'll get to a stage where there won't even be a business to mind. Let's not give up. |
fkaz: This man point of view still remain one of the best option.the sheik is very correct |
musKeeto: Honestly, bro, that's the only option we have. Logicboy said as much in his thread.. Your works have to speak for you.. If you have the burden, the onus is on you to invent/create methods to lessen it...weLl somebody' got to do it my good mann, someone's got to stand up and make it right. |
Goshen360: Hmmmm, interesting thread. I will be back participate in full.lol, brother goshen your opinion will be highly appreciated. |
musKeeto: Stop complaining, think outside the box, start the debate with those around you, share ideas with your friends, influence your community..the one and only muskeeto, I see u, |
Logicboy03: Shoows that you live in the ghettto in the uk.lol, leave brother frosbel alone ooo, |
Pataki: Personally I had my reservations about Buhari approving the ediotic amnesty that the scumbag was offering Boko Haram.since this topic is not about tonto dikeh or wizkid drinking. Champagne, I doubt if it'll hit the front page, don't mind nairaland moderators. |
omenka: I beg to disagree with you. Let me give u an analogy: u have kids, right, and they have come of school age. A school just opened up down ur street but you know the quality of it's teachers to be nothing to write home about. With this knowledge at the back of your mind, do you go pondering on whether or not to enroll ur kids in such school knowing you have the resources to give them a better education? I bet you wouldn't tinker with the idea even for a second!you're very correct mann, |
Super1759: one thing am sure is that buhari, tinubu, northern leaders just messed this man up with such a gullible advise. Its like telling an slowpoke to deep hand inside fire to know if its hot and the child obeyed.lol, very good analogy my man, |
How do u mean by u vanished into thin air? What proof do u have? Why should we believe u? |
splashbaby: @OP you are right on point...many of them are also engaging diabolic practises to make money at all cost. Recently my mechnic discovered a big black pot consealed under the passenger seat of one his customer(a Yahoo yahoo chap) when trying to fix something in the car. This guy doesnt have any job but spend money like its about to go out of fashion. He's always in the company of ladies which is his only business. I pity many of those ladies..only God knows what he's using them for.true talk my broda, true talk, and it just keeps on getting worse by the day. |
nacaz4real: what is the way forward. I don tire for this my country. Our youths are not getting the correct message and it is really bothering me. we need to come together and lets us look for a way forward.Thank you.my good man, thanks for your concern, I believe creating awareness about this problem is a step towards solving this problem. |
Symphony007: Everybody is bashing jonathan so i want to ask one question. This president is now spending almost half of the national budget on security, so the military cannot say they lack funding. He has done everything in his power to stop this bloodshed including the amnesty you're all attacking him for, so what next do you expect of him? To arm himself and lead troops to find boko haram? It's very easy to launch critisim but harder to provide solution. Whatelse do you want? A genocide in the north? What else?lol, funny, there's a saying that let he who the cap fits wear it, who send am message? Dem force am turn to president? These are some of the challenges of being a leader, and he should man up and deal with it. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm not saying I know the best way to tackle this insurgency, but granting them amnesty is'nt an option, |
frosbel: They are copying their western counterparts, here in the UK , the youth have mostly lost direction.yeah true, I bet it's worse there, I hear kids go to clubs in the UK and get high on drugs and alcohol then they end up stabbing themselves, very pathetic. |
frosbel: They are copying their western counterparts, here in the UK , the youth have mostly lost direction.yeah true, I bet it's worse there, I hear kids go to club in the UK and end up stabbing themselves, very pathetic. |
dj militant: My broda wetin man go do now.ok . What do we do now.we have to create an awareness about the dangers of living in credulity, we have to wake the youths up from their slumber, and push them towards achieving feats of greatness. |
ecomog08: Am not in church of satan or anything, but I have interest in the supernatural. I'd like to get in touch with u because like minds is the beginning of spiritual power. Since we have the same ambitions, why don't we become friends?lol, when I created this topic I was joking ooo, |
naptu2: There are at least 5 different factions of Boko Haram and many foot soldiers with varying degrees of commitment to the cause and varying reasons for engaging in militancy.u don't treat cancer by taking antibiotics or retro viral drugs, granting boko haram amnesty is an acceptance of defeat, it's an acceptance that the country is no longer safe, that any person or group of persons can form a group and terrorize the government and by the end of the day they'll be given lots of money with a warm reception at aso rock and with retardeen smiling and shaking hands with these killers and giving them properties and various rewards, while honest Nigerians die in poverty and penury. |
Take a look around you and tell me what you see? When I look around all I see is impending doom for the Nigerian youths, and the youths seem not to be aware of this impending doom, what do I mean by the nigerian youths being in danger? What I mean is that our leaders are creating a very troubled environment that would breed youth restiveness and anarchy, the leaders give the youths the idea that it does'nt matter what and how u make it in life, what matters is that you make it in life, so the youths go about taking thieving politicians as mentors, What makes this worse is that the youths seem to be unaware of what's happening around dem, all they do is put on skinny jeans, panty hose, see through dresses, and drink codeine, smoke weed, party and play wizkid/psquares latest joints, when was the last time Nigerian youths organised debates to discuss ways to move this country forward? All we see on TV is foolish parents coming to TV to dance with their children all in the name of entertainment, Our youths are gradually growing into dumb ass.es, they are intellectually lazy, they can't even make sound and learned arguments, if you decide to have a conversation with a typical Nigerian youth you would be surprised the kind of things they'll say, what's on their mind is SEX and drugs and partying, or watching stupid home videos or looking forward to the next big brother africa, And to compound this problem instead of the Government to encourage the many Nigerian youths who have finished their tertiary education by creating jobs or creating an enabling environment for young people to be self employed, they go about giving pardon to criminals and terrorists, There is fire on the mountain, Nigerian youths need to wake up and realise that they won't depend on their wards forever soon they'll have to face the harsh reality of living as a Nigerian, May God save the youths from this Danger. |
haruna1970: Some things will never change. Jonathan came from the gutter. He has smeared us with dirt already. Likewise he will put us (Nigeria) in the gutter.sometimes I sit and wonder what goes through his (jonathan) head, is it that he lacks good advisers or is it that he surrounds himself with fools, or is it that he is just plain dumb, |
Dr2great: .do u know what wil are discussing here that u want to comment? Pls go to d kitchenlwkmd, lol, lolz, hahahahaha, haba that's too harsh na, but it's hilarious, lol, |
kutchs: Lets just pretend all me and you are reading this article, I would want to know from you oh Socrates (you may inquire from the witch of Endor if you like) how Jonathan should have handled boko haram and pls dont give me ur ACN‘s opposition cant spoon feed the govt.well, one thing I know for sure is that giving in to terrorists never solves the problem, cos today it's boko haram, tomorrow it might be zaka haram, next tomorrow janka haram, etc, and then will u continue granting amnesty to all of them? Take the niger delta amnesty program for example, yes it worked for a while, but I can assure u very soon these same militants might go back to their old ways, already we are seeing police men being killed again, with Mend claiming responsibility, Isn't it the same mend that was granted amnesty that jonathan said was no longer existing even after the claimed responsibilty for the eagle square bombings? The united states for example don't negotiate with terrorists or criminal elements, cos if u do that with one of them u have to do that for all of them, if boko haram is granted amnesty how would u justify sending a convicted armed robber to the hang man? I'm not saying I know the best solution to tackling this boko haram insurgency, and I know that it's not an easy task to criple the terrorists, but granting them pardon is not one of the solutions to the problem, cos like I mentioned earlier today it's boko haram, but tomorrow it'll be another terrorist sect, and once u give in to one u'll have to give in to the rest. That's what I'm trying to say. |
Bliss4Lyfe: OP, dats a lie... Jonathan disgraced his own administration with the amnesty offer for killers.lol, I believe we are saying the same tin. |
Bliss4Lyfe: OP, dats a lie... Jonathan disgraced his own administration with the amnesty offer for killers. |
kutchs: You people outof hate for GEJ just rush online to post rubbish. Tell me how setting up a committee to ascertain the workability or otherwise of amnesty a foolish decision.lol, I like that name socrates, hmmm, I'm blushing, even if u are implying that setting up a committee to see how workable the amnesty for boko haram is, was a ruse to appease the northern leaders, even at that, that tells u the kind of leader the man is, It's obvious he doesn't have any solution to the boko haram problem, and he's behaving like a blind man groping for anything to hold on to, and he's doing all these at the detriment of his people, I come from the south side of this, and I had always known this man would amount to nothing (as per leading this country to a state of progressive development) |
Idokojimmy: It's on this note that I agree that individuals with little or no capacity to think have flooded this forum. On this same platform, we have read reports of how the sultan, Buhari, Elrufai, emirs, ACF, the northern governors forum, and other northern elements clamoured for amnesty for the Boko haram. GEJ stood his ground untill many saw him as anti nigerian, a president who doesn't want his citizens to enjoy peace. As a listening president, he shifted grounds against the advice of his security chiefs just to make that region conducive and some ode are here peddling falsehood.this goes to show u the kind of person the president is, somebody who can not stand by his words, (he said that there was no basis for dialogue with boko haram seeing that it's a faceless Group) and now he has come out proposing to grant amnesty to a faceless group, Whether he made the decision out of pressure or whatever, it was a foolish decision and it has caused more harm than Good, cos now boko haram now knows that the government is weak and they'll add more effort in terrorizing this country, all thanks to the supposed man of peace. |
jmaine: You too tight . .Only the naive fail to see thisSMH, jonathan apologetics, So how has this all debacle solved the boko haram menace? |
sleekdot: Be careful Not everything that Looks like beaf is Beefhmmmm, I see |
Beaf!:lol, the one and only beaf is back, I missed u on nairaland, where have u been all this while? |
