Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu has ordered the Police to effect the arrest of anyone or group which parades itself as Fulani Vigilante in any part of the state.

Information and Orientation, commissioner Donald Ojogo said this in a statement issued in Akure to state government position of the vexed issue.

Criticism had trailed the report of Fulani herdsmen patrolling the highway as vigilantee group.

Ojogo said the state government “has witnessed with utmost dismay, an orchestrated campaign in respect of the above subject matter.

“The intention of the sponsors and their echoers is undoubtedly, to discredit the administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and ostensibly, incite the people against the Ondo State Government.

“lt is pertinent to recall that upon the circulation of the story in the social media about the purported formation of an armed vigilante group by the Miyetti Allah, Governor Akeredolu was swift in his reaction to the development.

“Not only did he disown the move, if at all. He indeed ordered the Police to effect the arrest of anyone or group which parades itself as Fulani Vigilante.

“The Governor’s position was decisive even as it was pointedly consequential.

“At the risk of repeating himself, Governor Akeredolu reaffirmed the position of Government on Tuesday, July 23 when he was accosted by reporters who sought further information on the matter.

“The leadership of the Miyetti Allah in the State has equally disowned the report and has even provided further insights into actionable steps to deal with whoever conducts self in a manner that do not conform with the position of Government.

“Succinctly, therefore, the scheming media spins on the issue can only be the handiwork of divisive elements and their collaborators whose defeated desire is to demarket the Ondo State Government through unfounded claims and gross mischief.

He said that “The position of Governor Akeredolu on this matter stands. Government will not allow armed Fulani Vigilante in any part of Ondo State.

I want to use this medium to appeal to the Federal Government Of Nigeria to please consider the creation of an Indigenous state comprising solely of both the Urhobo and Isoko States Respectively. as Bayelsa was created. I believe it is within our constitutional rights as Ethnic nationalities with distinct cultural and social roots in this country. to call on the FG to recognize our uniqueness and create a separate state from Delta state compromising of Urhobo and Isoko.

Causing great psychological trauma to survivors of these atrocities, if you ask any victim survivor of terrorism how their experience was, they will tell you that they don't want to remember it because it will bring back the trauma they felt at the moment these atrocities were committed. That is why we all as a people both Men and women of goodwill, both Christians and Muslims to join hands in rejecting this evil called terrorism that is being used to put us in bondage and misery, there is an organization named Hezbollah that is controlling the current franchise of terrorism and Islamic extremism and at the head of the Operation is Prince Alexander, why has he been chosen to be the Next Caliph? Because he has been able to operate for so long in secret. And as long as he does so modern day Terrorism and Islamic Jihadism will continue to strive and he now has his eyes on Nigeria so the Buhari administration better sit up to find ways to keep our people safe. I want to use this medium to wish Nairalanders and Nigerians in General a happy new year, and by the grace of God in less than a few weeks we will welcome Our new president Atiku to Aso Rock, but before the noble man enters into the Aso Rock this time around as our President, I would like to bring some insightful observations about our soon to be ex president and this observation is very insidious because if it is indeed true, then we all as patriotic Nigerians should do all within out powers to stop this from destroying us any further, the observation is that President Buhari is now having attributes of a Vampire because for some years now the spirit of blood sucking has taken over his government and his cronies, and this has taken a rather worrying dimension as we have seen innocent citizens who are refugees due to lack of proper protection from the government they voted in get bombed by Nigerian warplanes due to reasons that are still not clear which in its own has brought about speculations that it might be possible all this blood sucking is happening to give blood food to President Buhari and that anytime he stops sucking blood he gets sick and has to be flown abroad to get blood transfusion like Dracula from Transylvania but the difference between him and Dracula is that Dracula is honest about being a vampire but our president on the other hand has refused to tell us the truth about who he truly is. so I want us to ask him before the elections if he is a vampire or not. thank you.

Wow. I pray you are wrong in your visions my brother. Also I understand that the bulk of corruption in Africa comes from external sources. Right now more than ever you need a leader who can command the respect of the Nigeria military and police. And as it stands, the Fulani people, although mostly illiterate fill the ranks of the military and police. The Fulani are fierce fighters! And that's not saying that the Yorubas and Igbos are not fighters, only that they have other traits to serve Nigeria. Yorubas are innovators and leaders whilst Igbos are very good in business. Right now Nigeria needs strong leaders to protect it from the fall out of the Western Empire as it collapses. The source of the Boko Haram is the CIA.
