This does not in anyway give relevance or spotlight to her fame.

It is plain stupidity that some moderator should push Ayra's semi nude photos to the front page on a Tuesday morning because she decided to patronise an eatery.

Glo blocked my nine year old phone number after two previous NIN linkages.

It's not my problem. I have six other cell phone lines and will simply get another to replace this lost one.

Don't nobody got time for that rubbish procedure no more. Stupid country still stuck in the stone age.

I care less about the election(anybody can win)especially because I'm not from Edo state but I despise ingrates.

This same obaseki has gone to lobby wike because of the REC but since he didn't have his way, he instructed the state party chairman to write an open letter to INEC requesting that the REC be removed, if wike had agreed to work with him, would he have instructed his lapdog to write a letter to INEC?
At the very least, you people still care about the Edo election proceedings.

Lol.

Elxandre:
10k weekly is too little for the family right?
Now what's the average income of a family man in Nigeria?

It's easy to quote prices of commodities in America and USA and not realize they earn at least 30 more times than we do.
Now, even Americans with their high wages complain about petrol and energy prices too. You'd expect them to not complain right? So why is it surprising Nigerians with one of the lowest income rates in the world are groaning?
Perhaps we could even understand better if the leaders cut their excesses a bit but they keep replenishing their ostentatious office perks.

We are never going to see industrialization in Africa if we continue to leave energy unaffordable.
Oga, I'm not concerned about these statistics and even if I was, I'll comfortably pursue this debate with you using facts that will leave you eating my dust.

The backdrop of my comment is, this video is pointless. He hasn't told us his home consumption capacity. Globally, electricity is not cheap anywhere, whether in the Vatican City or the swampy dredges of Makoko.

We don't always have to conform blindly with everything. Na why Oyibo easily use bible deceive una.

.

What is the relationship between Nigerians talking carelessly and this country not progressing beyond the third world status?

Inasmuch as people should not waste electricity, the one that households waste, is it free? Are they not billed for it?.

If you claim that d "werey" in d video leaves his AC on and u do d same, are u also a "werey"?

Do you have d same experience he has in terms of how much you spend on electricity a week?

If transmission lines need overhauling and replacement, how does announcing it replace and overhaul them?

Who are "your leaders"?

Who are those who use electricity the most in Nigeria and refuse to pay for it?
This one thinks every nairalander is conditioned into identifying with his existential pity parties😂.

Oga, stop being stupid and wake up to today's global reality. Nigerian leaders are the scum of the earth, yes. But you citizens need a rude awakening.

Very docile and mentally contrived beings.

Stop teaching us how to manage poverty. Poverty and squalid existence, should not be the default nature of Nigerians or any people.

The government was elected to eradicate poverty not to manage poverty or to entrench poverty. If they don't know how to fight poverty, they should all resign.
Some of you talk carelessly.

It's no wonder this country doesn't progress beyond the third world status. Must you wake up everyday and live stupidly only to expect the government to fix everything?

Yes, electricity rates are high but we all know Nigerians waste electricity for the fun of it. Now that we are at cross-roads, let us as a people endeavour to fix our excesses while we hold the government to proper accounts.

Who knows if the weyrey in the video leaves his room AC running through the day even while he's away at work, just so he meets the room cold upon his return? Same thing I do.

10K for weekly electricity sef in a family setting like what's perceivable in the video, omoh na cruise!

Electricity is expensive. And most of you Nigerians don't even know that apart from Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja and Ogun state, the transmission lines of the rest of the Nation needs overhauling and replacement. But your leaders are still struggling with how to break the news to you without a backlash.

DeLaRue:
I personally don't have a problem with the price of electricity, though I can understand that the experience of those in Band A is probably different.

I have always used electricity judiciously, so any pre paid electricity I buy tends to last for a reasonable length of time.

I have always been fastidious about switching off all gadgets FROM THE WALL.

First thing I do when I get out of bed is to pull my curtains so I take advantage of natural light. So, most if not all internal lights are off for most parts of the day unless I absolutely need it.

If I am leaving a room and not returning to that room within 5 mins, I switch off the light. Lights in any room that is not occupied is always switched off.

These are just habits that have become part of my routine. I don't do them because of electricity bill, but it has a very positive effect on my electricity bill. I have not bought electricity for about 3 months now, so cost of electricity is really not an issue for me.

Many Nigerians use electricity wastefully because we have one of the cheapest electricity prices in the world. But that is going to change with the introduction of new bands.
I am the Yin to your Yang.

The very opposite of everything you described here, but I have never been one to complain over my high tariff rates. Not because I don't think they're high, but because I know I waste electricity.

At the end of the day, most Nigerians don't know how to take responsibility for their actions. It's not an elite menace, it is a societal plague.

Borno State has been waltzing from one societal malady to the other since 2010 and it is even more vexatious because the State has been ably represented in the Nigerian leadership architecture for just as long.

NIMET raised and echoed the alarm of the prospect of this Dam overflowing sometime last year but that Iragbiji rascal feigned deaf ears as has been his stock-in-trade. Now this is where we are!

Come 2027 and with 1,000 naira plus ten cups of Taraba rice, Borno illiterates will still stand on Jagaban's mandate. Let them suffer!

Stop generalizing

You be mumu.

Common sense should tell you that all yorubas can not criticize Tinubu. We still have those will always support him even if he do worst than these..

We still have many yorubas and hausas who will vote for him in 2027 despite the challenges we are face now
It doesn't mean all yorubas are supporting him.

There are hausas who are still shouting 'sai baba' during buhari's bad tenure and there are people who are still mourning obi failure despite the obvious fact that he was not a good governor.

The case is the same every where.
I swear you're intolerably foolish for this particular narrative!

Lol.

I'm not surprised that you're riding on the waves of sentiments.

Igbo men are resourceful and inherently entrepreneurial and no one can deny that. But I'll confidently put it to you that Igbo men do not "chop life" compared to even half of the Owambe the average Yoruba man lives for.

You think it's to litter a table in an exquisite bar with fifteen green bottles and five used peppersoup plates for five men, only to subsequently be shouting at the DJ with a 10K offer to play Ebenezer Obey for the rest of the night?

Stop being a comedian!

She should be specific about the specie Nigerian MEN !!!

IT IS IGBO MEN
It's weird how some of you Nigerians believe that the same stingy Igbo men we all know in this country, outspend their peers from other ethnicities in foreign countries.

Alaye, no Nigerian man is more extravagant than a Fulani or South South man who wants to impress a woman in another country. Only difference is that they're not as loud about it as Igbo men.

It is an abhorrent practice but what's more distasteful is how some of you put extra efforts into coining unrealistic narratives just to placate tribal sentiments and stroke your egos.

Pooja will sit on X and make noise. Mikel will do same with his podcast sessions. All on Osimhen's matter.

Tinubu will likely win in 2027 for the same reason he won in 2023……the opposition keeps fielding candidates that no matter Tinubu’s shortcomings are worse than him and hence unelectable.

You people don’t seem to understand. If you want to defeat Tinubu, you need to forget Atiku forget Obi. So long as he is running against those 2 whether as a team or separately he will win.
You still think Tinubu is a better pick than Atiku and Obi😂?

Even Atiku with his penchant for resource thievery, is twice the leader Tinubu will ever be. Some of you have absolutely no idea how efficient Atiku was as a Vice to Aremu.

You look at the nonsense Tinubu is doing with this Nation's economy and still have the audacity to compare his brain with Atiku's, that's when it becomes abundantly obvious that you Nigerians are meant to suffer.

And do not think I omitted Obi from this comment by accident. That's the only Nigerian Politician who governed a state for 8 years and to this day, no single soul has been able to put up a water-tight corruption case against him. So he has no business being compared to those other ancestral kleptomaniacs.

At the end of the day, Bola Tinubu till 2031✌️! Aje!
