nony43:Lol. Infinix Hot 7..😂. Is that a phone or the name of an electric cooker? |
nesphil:Oga, shut up abeg! Allow us hear word! |
Allthelight:The update you quoted said absolutely nothing concerning what you're ranting about. Or are you insinuating that Durov be abandoned by the Russian Authorities while in France's custody, simply because he has always held anti-Russian perspectives? Looks to me like you're the one posting rubbish here, mate. |
Lol. Hezbollah and Israel have begun dishing each other hundreds of missiles .Israel has declared 48 hours state of emergency. Nobody respects Sabbath day again! |
judedwriter:😂😂. So many of you religious zealots are so empty in the head eh! Just waltzing along with the bandwagon effect like real-life zombies. You know what you're doing is nonsense but you're just too lazy to try reasoning otherwise. |
futuregovernor:Lol. See the brain of a Nigerian christian😂. Even dirtier than that of a drug addict. |
judedwriter:You still failed to answer the question. In whose image did god create the animals if he was the only living being before creation? |
futuregovernor:Says the mentally deficient possum who spends what's left of his miserable life pandering to religious chicanery all in a bid to escape his generational doldrums. |
judedwriter:I'm a person who finds it despicable for one to answer a question with another question. Again, in whose image did god create the animals? |
judedwriter:In whose image did he create the animals? |
KaLuCh:Nothing to think of. Religion is useless. Committing your life to it on any basis or excuse just shows how undeserving you are of that life, to begin with. |
I'm still trying to piece this news together. Durov knew he was wanted in France. There's absolutely no way he'll claim not to have known because the French authorities made a fuss about it. Yet he somehow consciously flew from Azerbaijan to that same France? Why? Was he looking to get arrested? Something doesn't add up. |
Ennyjude:Very good! If they explain Nigeria to you and you understand, then the person did not explain well. Don't worry. It is not your head that is not correct, I assure you. |
futuregovernor:Shut up! His comment was unarguably factual. If you have no proper response, zip up that smelly garbage-can you call a brain before you release bacteria that causes another global lockdown! |
This is 2024 for fvck's sake! Why are you Nigerians still hung up on religions when they clearly don't have the answers to your life's problems?! |
It is the confidence with which Agencies under this administration are brandishing every manner of ineptitude and organisational recklessness that's the more infuriating! It took the private efforts of a news tabloid to uncover the presence and circulation of fake university degrees from Benin Republic and Togo, yet those same degrees passed authenticity scrutiny while the carriers used them for NYSC schemes and a lot even passed screening for employments in the civil service. Nobody does their job in the government circles anymore. Corruption is so endemic that people just occupy offices to feed fat. Now this clown is proudly going to the news to mouth off stupid so-called reforms on the back of other people's due diligence. This country is a crying shame! |
Lol. Why does this feel like a counter thread to the other Lagos blue rail thread? Una dey use this nairaland take banter? Una dey use us play? Are you moderators mad😆? |
Stoplying:Absolutely not me sitting here and watching that supposed Lawyer confidently arguing that religious books are admissible as evidential notes in Court cases😂. Just when the argument is about to fall on his head, he twists like a python trying to shed an old skin layer and conjures up another line of absurdity. Whoever paid that boy's fees to go study Law in the University, should rather have invested those finances in a poultry business. Nigga wears ignorance with an abundance of confidence that beggars pity and disbelief. |
LadyExcellency:Some of you need just a single opinion to lay bare your lack of exposure and decrepit reasoning. Low-cost and subsidised housing is one of the social and infrastructural benefits citizens of any functional society should enjoy from a responsible government. You read and hear about mortgages being paid on apartments in Western societies, which affords the ordinary working citizen the opportunity to own a home by paying monthly instalments, don't you? Or did they tell you the mortgages are being paid to your clan head? Next time you have nothing reasonable to contribute to a discourse, close that sewage you call a brain and spare us the agony of swallowing your buffoonery. Even the dim-witted cretins liking your dumb comment ought to be beaten properly for sampling such idiocy! |
shoodboi2:😂😂. Quite bizzare how young people now turn to A.I based tools to piece words together just to give off an air of intelligence. Funny part is, I never even bother to check the originality of people's comments because I passively assume a decent basic education should be enough to afford any sound mind the needed communication skills. |
Stoplying:Man, I have to admit it really gets tiring attempting objective dialogues with certain Nigerians. Basically the prime reason I mostly shut the fvck up and just read through the comments and updates around here. |
For a split moment there, I thought I heard "when I got to Spain, Bala blu is playing".. .God abeg o! |
Gbadebo19:Mr Gbadebo justifies the arbitrary killings of tens of thousands of civilian women and children by Israel in Gaza, citing the superiority of legal provisions over the sanctity of human lives. He is asked by an interlocutor to provide details of the said Legal authorisation for the above-mentioned genocidal acts. Gbadebo quotes articles from the Geneva convention. He is further told that even those statutes do not support or validate the illegality going on in Gaza. Gbadebo blames his interlocutor's use of vocabularies first, then goes ahead to sit in the corner of his small bedroom to determine how women and children in Gaza constitute the supposed Hamas terrorist organisation and is even telling millions of Nairaland users that he and his kinsmen do not recognise the Hamas authority in Palestine😂😂. Mr man, do yourself the favour of returning to school. And this time, pursue a career in the theatre arts department, because you'll make a better comedian than the legal charlatan you're slowly turning out to be. |
Gbadebo19:Your inability to comprehensively understand words and their implications doesn't render them "useless and unnecessary". Any modestly intelligent reader will see the properness with which I have so far tailored my responses to address whatever miniscule points you have attempted to raise. And as has always been your trademark in the face of superior arguments to your streamlined intellect, you're already resorting to derogatory remarks and that Mr Gbadebo, is a mistake you do not want to make with me. This argument is solely premised on the goings-on in Gaza and Ukraine respectively, and you cannot herd me into having a debate that deviates from the instances afoot. Simply put, least for the sake of your jelly brain which seems to have obvious difficulties processing certain concepts, there is no provision in the Geneva conventions that gives Israel or any warring nation, the locus standi to wipe out civilian lives and settlements under the guise of pre-empting a "lethal" attack by other nations, bodies or individuals even when there are absolutely no evidences suggesting the existence or even intended use of said "lethal weapons". |
Gbadebo19:I'm fairly informed on the protocol and statutes of the Geneva conventions, and nowhere in your laid-down Article pointer does it bestow the unilateral decision on any person(s) to determine what constitutes the appropriate deterrence or retaliation for the "supposed existence and meditated use of lethal weapons", Mr Gbadebo. You cannot audaciously seek to justify an illegality by dancing around the edges of legal provisions with tricky semantics. To further buttress the issue in discourse, there's been absolutely no insinuations or slight evidence of the intended use of lethal weapons (whether nuclear, biological or chemical) in the wars that have festered between Israel and Hamas on one hand, then Russia and Ukraine on the other. But conveniently and ever more worrisome, Israel has unilaterally assumed the god figure by determining retaliatory measures that have globally been considered extreme and high-handed, except of course by their Nairaland apologists. You know all of this to be true, but you're an extremist who seeks to divest from facts to appease your lopsided sentiments. Much as you're however entitled to your perspectives irrespective of how strongly others feel against them, do not seek legal justifications for war crimes. It simply projects you as a disingenuous being. N/B: The military doctrine of necessity does not invalidate or override the principle of proportionality, but is in fact a test of compliance to proportionality in any war related context, upon which subsequent International court judgements are predicated to determine what constitutes war crimes. Please stop misinforming the reading public. |
Gbadebo19:Just on the premise of routine knowledge Mr Gbadebo, what is the stipulated legal framework upon which you're confidently basing this opinion? Can you kindly spell it out? Because even the principle of proportionality in war scenarios lucidly stipulates that even with the existence of a clear military target, attack is not possible if the measure of harm to civilians or civilian property hugely outweighs the expected military advantage of such an offensive action. So what exactly are you talking about, Oga? And which legal provisions are backing up this your unfounded claim? |
Adaisback:You're having premonitions which are concomitant off-shoots of your heightened instincts and unique ability to connect with your sixth sense. Visions are just a bunch of nonsensical religious constructs. |
