Guy from what you posted, your car runs rich on fuel. That means too much fuel is supplied. Is your thermostat still intact?

Where does your temperature gauge get to when the engine is warm/hot?

Quarter mark or Half mark on dashboard temperature scale?

Please don't take it to a KIA shop. I own a Sienna too. Do you have a car scanner. Try and locate someone that can run a check on it. Report here with the codes.

I don't have one. It seems you are in a haste to get a car. Please be careful before you buy a car that has been abused.

This happened in front of Chambian plaza, Gwarinpa Abuja today. I drove in from Kubwa express way, stopped by the traffic light and the traffic light was on RED counting down to zero.

Just before the light turned green, a young lady (about 35 years) was crossing the road with her earpiece right in her ears and her phone in her hand. As she made her way around the Keke Napeps to cross to the other side, just in a flash of a second, the Keke driver accelerated and hit this lady and she fell down squarely on the road.

Thank God it was not a car that hit her or else she would have sustained very serious injuries. Luckily, she got up immediately as the Keke drivers and the car drivers behind waited for her.

Lesson: Avoid crossing the road with your earpiece in your ear whether you are listening to music or not.

Try and look for Honda CRV 99 model. Its a very rugged car. And it falls within your price range.

Car owners, please do not drive through heavy floods especially during torrential rains. These floods always seem as if they can be managed at first, but danger looms at the end.

I discovered from my own experience about a year ago that it is NOT easy reversing your car during a flood.

Yesterday's event in Lokogoma Abuja is a wake up call to all to avoid driving through floods in the remaining months ahead before the rainy season ends.

Fuel nozzles serviced and ok, Mech says fuel pressure is ok, that two plugs both connected to a coil ain't working. said coil is bad. Check engine light doesn't come on when engine is 'on' to scan the old school way and I don't have the obd1 scanner. Rewire said he has to trace d cel to ecu,I declined.

How can two plugs or coils be bad and check engine light not be on? Is the mechanic OK or he wants to cun you. Guy, you better take your car elsewhere. Except the check engine light is not working. Well if you doubt me, its your ride.

My mechanic cant do guess work on that level. Besides look for another mechanic. You will start buying so many things for your ride as a result of guess work.

Other suggestions here are welcome.

Since no your check engine light is not coming up.

a) check your fuel pump pressure and see if its low and also fuel filter.

b) Check your fuel nozzles

My '95 sonata is not going above 3000rpm. Not moving either. Any possible suggestions? Wanted to scan the car but the cel is not coming on,so rewire said he can't do anything? TPS, coil and fuel pump pressure had been suggested by the rewire. I need help guys

Apart from what you have described, how did it start? Any other issues? performance at cold start up and warm start ups. There is no native doctor here!

Seems your fuel line has dirt/water.

2. Clogged up fuel injectors***

Please run a live data scan on your car and also check the 02 sensor voltages, STFT and LTFT? Take the screenshots and post here.

Your mechanic is really naive. Its very likely you are using very cheap metal based brake pads and as such you have spoil your brake discs/rotors.

Its either you change your brake disc if the surface is very bad and change brake pads too or you resurface it if you are on a very tight budget and change the brake pads.

Don't play with your gear/transmission oil again. That delay in gear engagement could be due to the gear oil removed. Please do not buy any nonsense gear oil as it will condemn your gear box (transmission) which is about N350,000.

Please change your mechanic as 'His mumu don do'. That mechanic will destroy your car cos that is basic car knowledge.

Better still, sell that car. And buy a car you can abuse and get away with it. Don't mess with a MURANO otherwise you will have BIG HOLES in your pocket.
