Formation of a new political party is not the solution to our eco-political challenges,emergence of another mega party will still give us a party like APC,the people (corruption beneficiaries)that have been in government since 1999 are in APC calling themselves 'Change agents'.Nothing has changed,wasteful spending by our political Leaders is still at a high level.
what we need in this country is attitudinal change.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has stated that “job seekers”, who lost out in the bid to become ministers, are the ones piling pressure on President Muhammadu Buhari, to change his economic team.
Speaking with newsmen in Enugu at the weekend, the Minister stated that calls for a new economic team to steer the country out of recession is propelled by job seekers and echoed by their friends in the media.
He disagreed with comments in some circles that the President should change his economic team as a result of an alleged inability of the federal government to pilot the nation out of the current economic recession.
Ngige argued that this country entered recession a long time ago before the Buhari government came on board but nobody noticed it because of the huge foreign reserves accumulated by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, which has now shrunk to $21billion as a result of the crash in oil prices.
According to him, “Under the previous administration, the oil price was about $115 per barrel and the country exhausted its 2.2 million barrels daily quota of crude oil export.
“But when this government came, the price of oil dropped to as low as $30 per barrel. It later came to $50 per barrel, but because of activities of those blowing up oil pipelines in Niger Delta, we could not export our daily quota of 2.2 million barrels. We are now exporting about 1.2 million barrels,” Ngige said.

The former governor of Abia, Chief Orji Kalu, has said that it was more beneficial for the South east to join the All Progressives Congress in order to belong and exploit the benefits of being in mainstream national politics.

Kalu made the call on Friday night during an interaction with journalists at his Camp Neya country home at Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of the state.

He said that the region would contribute more towards the good of the people of the region when they stop being in the opposition camp and instead stand with the decision makers in the ruling party.

He said, “Ndigbo should join APC so as to enable them to sit where other Nigerians are seated to decide on how to move the nation forward.”

He said that the victories recorded by APC in the Edo and Ondo general elections proved that the APC had become acceptable to Nigerians.

He said, “The APC electoral victories in Edo and Ondo clearly showed the popularity of the party.

“So, I did not make mistake in taking the Igbos into the national politics, where other Nigerians are seated. That is where I want the Igbos to sit.

“So there is nothing wrong in our joining APC for us to be able to sit where other Nigerians are seated. That is more important to me.”

He said that it was imperative for other prominent Igbo politicians to swell the number of people from the south east region in APC, including the Minister of Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr Chris Ngige, and Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo, amongst others.

Kalu commended President Muhammadu Buhari for fulfilling his promise to resume work on federal roads in the South east.

He said, “During my visit to the president, he made a promise to me and other leaders three months ago that all the contractors would be back to the federal roads before the end of Nov.

“Today, if you go to every federal road in Eastern Nigeria, you will see that all the contractors are back fully and this is why I joined APC.

“I didn’t join the party on selfish basis; I joined because the president made a promise and I have seen that the contractors are back to site.

“And if they are back, why can’t I believe him? He will do more.”

He further said that his interest was for the South east to have good roads, security and opportunities to trade and achieve prosperity.

The former governor, who is a renowned businessman, further spoke on the current economic recession in the country.

He said, “All the nation’s of the world are going through recession, Nigeria is not an exception.

“I’m an international businessman, I am crying in all the countries I am doing business.

“From one country to the other, the story is the same, so we are crying there as we are crying in Nigeria.”

Kalu urged the president to pay attention to the economy as he had done to security.

Political party is not our problem,but people in such political party,a person like Kalu will also be shouting 'change'. Nothing has changed.

If this is true,I've lost confidence in the leadership of president Buhari and APC.
APC is a scam. With this ugly trend in our democratic journey,it'll be difficult to vote out Buhari. APC is on a mission to turn this country to one party state.They introduced 'vote and cook soup' or 'dibo ki o se obe' in Ondo State,maybe that method couldn't work in River state,they now deployed intimidation method.

The judgement is not against the individual that committed the unlawful act,but the Ekiti State government. It's now a normal practice for Governors to remove LG chairmen whenever they like,they've even promulgated laws that will aid their illegal activities through the state law makers.
This judgement is a good one,Fayemi should be the person to pay,he stole enough money from Ekiti.He brought above a billion Naira for Ondo gubernatorial election. The constitution should be amended to give room for the prosecution of the individual in power at the time the act was carried out.

They had enough money to buy votes in Ondo State.We need God intervention in this country, attitudinal change is what we need not political party change,because political party change is deceitful .

You're somehow not consistent.I've seen your various analysis on this platform,they are disjointed analysis.
For record purpose,Aregbe and Bola Ilori supported Oke during the APC primary election,their support for Oke predates the primary election ,Aregbe's plan was for Ilori to deputise Oke.I'm from Ondo state,not an outsider.
