NLC should go and sit down. Was the exam conducted today? Are they saying some of the teachers who passed wouldn't have retired or died within that period of time? And even if Kaduna state govt presented names of the dead, why is the NLC not talking about the woeful results that are awash the media |
Coming from an organisation that just threatened people to VOTE and DIE? It's their problem, you can't be going against the state in an irrational manner and expect pats in the back. I have followed the Catalan quest for independence and their leaders never incited them against other Spaniards. |

exlinklodge:Democracy has always been a government by the few and the few and for the few. Even after Donkey years, this Tunde still benefits from his dad's rep. Same in all democracies of the world, the Clinton, Bush and Kenedy families in the US The Treadeu in Canada, Not to talk about the Sarakis, Tinubus and Nwodos in Nigeria. Democracy is an illusion. |

Incomplete list. No 1: CHURCH. No capital required. All you need is a convincing voice and megaphone, you can even start on the roadside like those ones at Ikeja. From roadside, your church address can upgrade to No, then to PLOT then to KILOMETRES. In fact, you can own a private jet in less than 5 years if you know your job wella. |
comshots:Telling lies is parts and parcel of their job. Not all true information is meant for the public ears. I used to be a strong critic of government PR officers until I watched 24 and other movies. It's a standard practice around the world. It's so bad that people don't even know when they are telling the truth. |

The women knew the ramifications of their journeys before they left. They knew it was a death mission. Only few Nigerians would claim to be oblivious of boats capsizing, people dying in the deserts and the tortuous life in Libyan prisons. And if the Presidency gives issues condolences and probably compensations, will it not be encouraging such actions? |

whateverkay:This is a law court and not a place where they sell gala and lacasera |
It seems Gordon Obuah didn't steal much money before his death. |
Gordon Obuah served under GEJ hence this is where Patience Jonathan can use a percentage of her loots to better the lots of these children. ChangeIsCostant:. Imagine the male twins of the triplets were named after GEJ. They should forward these letter to GEJ and let him do something. |
I am surprised no one is yet to blame Buhari and Afonjas for this. Rochas for President. |
Funny enough, Rochas is one of the best the Igbos have to offer in 2023 ![]() Own goal buruku. |
raker300:The headless statute is that of Fela, a descendant of Oduduwa and a Yoruba man like me whose work will continue to be remembered. Why not ask Rochas to built a statute for Zik and Ojukwu instead of foreigners? ![]() |

raker300:You know, this is not Imo or the Red Mud Republic where people who have no direct impact on their states were given statutes. This is the West where we have sensible leaders except Fayose, FFK and co. Instead of building Statues for Zuma and Sirleaf, we would rather celebrate our own as well as our professions like Baba Awolowo, Fela, the boats at Maryland and Ilezik as well as this at Epe. You can learn from us. |
Despite the fact that Akwa Ibom state has no red potorpotor, the developers still felt like carrying out their Corporate Social Responsibilities.

zoba88:All hail the REPRESENTATIVE of the Abiama Institute of Worldwide Development. Even if A.ba has bad roads, Akwa Ibom must be developed by fire by force. |

If Lagos is known as the Center of Excellence and Abuja is known as the Centre of Unity, then Imo will be known as Center of : a) Statues b) Wastage c) Mispriorities d) All of the above. |

Under GEJ SGF - South East Chief of Staff - South South Minister of Petroleum - South South Minister of Finance - South South Minister of Works - South South Minister of Aviation - South East Minister of Power - South East Minister of Health - South East These are obviously the 'juiciest' ministries according to you and other Nigerians. TonyeBarcanista, please where is the SW where he cleared 5 out of 6 states? The same SW that mobilised for GEJ against the Yaradua's cabal in 2010 through Tunde Bakare, Wole Soyinka et al? Here is a link to where northerners complained about the lopsidedness of GEJ's appointments over the years. Check and judge! All the first class agencies were headed by SS/SE. http://newsrescue.com/list-of-president-jonathans-appointments-shows-ethnic-lopsidedness/#axzz4xYo1PKdn Despite the fact that the SW lost out at the Speakership position, GEJ never gave a damn about them and yet there was no wailing from the Yorubas. You can only fool IPOB Yoots, Tonye! |
I have always known Tonye to be a pseudo intelligent person and I must say that I am not disappointed by this writeup. The positions of SGF and CoStaff are very sensitive and thus must be occupied with confidantes, people whom you share the same ideologies with, and in the case of Nigeria, someone who understands and perfectly speaks your native language. In fact, these two people are like your families and your safety is in their hands. So, how on earth did you expect the President to go for an Ijaw, Ekiti or Mbaise man for such positions? Even your brother, I mean the fisherman from Otuoke, Chief of Staff/SGF were all from the south. Remember, after Mike Oghadome( Chief of Staff) , GEJ replaced him with another southerner, Arogbofa? Despite all these, I never saw any of your write-ups. TonyeBarcanista, you're one of the reasons why I don't believe that Nigerian youths are ready for governance. I'm so sure by the time you become a governor, Nigerians will know Yahaya Bello and Dino were heroes. |

It's a sad thing to know that they church is not living up to expectations. Christendom has gone worldly. These ones are petty thieves compared to those in higher ranks of the church are stealing. Church is more of business ventures, nothing more. Reason leadership tussles are getting messier each day. Clergies putting on jazz to church so as to outsmart each other. Nevertheless, there are still few ones who preach true doctrine and not those who would bring comedians and jesters to the Holy abode of the Almighty. |

[s] RebelChip:[/s] What's it that Igbo states contribute meaningfully to the Nigerian economy? Can't you see that the states where the bulk of Nigeria's revenue is gotten are in the top 5? You Igbos are quick to tag others parasites because they do not produce oil. Please how are Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra states different? How much VAT does the FG generate from them? How do the non oil producing states in SE get their budgets financed, is it not through the same feeding bottle system? I'm sure you don't know that oil gotten from Imo and Abia states combined is not up to that of Ondo? I must say here that there is something fundamentally wrong with all developers - INFERIORITY COMPLEX & VAIN PRIDE. |
