@Unibentested, please did you also recieve e-mail for the Project Manager Position or you only got for workshop supervisor?

Mine was for Project Manager.

I'm kind of having the thought that those of us they've sent the e-mail are the once that may be inventually contacted for interview (just my thoughts).

Please let's share our views.

I applied for the Project Manager position and i am very optimistic about recieving an invitation for interview by God's grace.

Also just for further clarifications, they may be recruiting for office assistance which is meant for social science. They may also be recruiting for engineers for offshore operations. All these we need to know.

Or don't you think your bothers need to know the exact vacancy they are submiting their C.Vs for? So at least we can tailor our C.Vs appropriately. Like removing some experience not needed for the kind of available vacancy. C.Vs are improved base on the job you are aplying for.

So my brother asking you some questions is not to get you angry but to help us further, since we do not know what you know. I am sure you know whats up and was guided by the main source that gave you the submision info. Please just clear us a bit, i beg! I Will be going back there tomorrow.

Hmmmm.... @OP, please don't get me wrong. I am not asking for clarifications to get you angry. In your first post, you didn't explain that we must get to a certain post unit inside the Chevron yard. I live in Warri and as soon as i saw your post this morning i decided to rush to the computer centre to get my credentials photocopied and C.V printed then rushed to Chevron office. Based on the fact that you didn't explain in details, i got to the gate and asked several security guys of which one of them showed me a typed message on recruitment scam pasted on the security office wall. On the printed scam alert post, it was writen that Chevron does all their recruitment Online in their website. And the security guys told me that that notice was pasted there because of information like the one i got. This is the reason i am begging that you throw some more light, so that at least i can re-visit tomorrow morning and submit as directed by you. I hope this explanation clears the air a little. Thanks.

I guess you owe us some explanation. I don't know if its reasonable to just submit C.V to a company who boldly wrote a note and pasted on their security post that all Chevron's recruitment are done ONLINE. Unless, you tell us that there's an indoor employment going on for a particular project in Chevron's Operations in Delta State to be precise. Don't you think you should explain for clarity sake since you seems to know more going on inside. Please help us throw more light so our submission wouldn't be waste and to avoid our C.V printed with our hard earned cash sent to their trash can. Thanks!

You are a big liar. I just spent about 2k and wasted my time visiting their office in the said address and was told in the gate that there is no employment going on. @OP, you are wicked!

HOS13: Hello, fear not! I know many people won't agree with me but I think the BHC assesses visa applications in a fair manner. If your documents are in order and you are genuinely going to study, you'll most likely get your visa! I am also sure that they'll not refuse you a visa based on just one question you did not "answer well"! Just like most interviews, there is no such thing as a correct answer!

It took about 17 working days to get a reply from them.

So, just relax and pray!

@HOS13, please how long does it takes to know whether you are granted a Visa or Not Granted? Someone told me that if you will not be granted, they will let you know early so you can reaply.... But someone also told me that it will take like three weeks to get a responce whether granted or not granted....... Pls respond to this! And for my case above, i told them that the F.G contracted an Agency incharge of the admission process. Well, i also got your points on that but just pray they don't take me on that because someone that has gotten to the Visa interview stage will definately have an accomodation plans...... My View though, you know more than i do. Thanks.

Please Masters in the house, i need your response on this. Yesterday i had my Tier 4 Visa Interview, it was a Video interview. I am affraid of a particular question i didn't respond too well........ I was asked were i was asked were i will be staying in my school and i told them that i have not been told for now, that the Federal Government is sponsoring me and they contracted an agent working my admission process and that the agent has not told me anything about my accomodation for now........ Hope my response wouldn't affect my chances to be granted a Visa. I answered every other questions well and all my documents are intact. Pls reply me, i am so afraid, help calm my naives....
