I think the stimulus would be approved today. The DOW is already up 7% and everything is up today, from oil, gold, and stocks around the world. Like you said, lets see how it goes. Meanwhile the new virus - HANTAVIRUS is true but not contagious except via body fluid, just like Hepatitis B et al, so no cause for concern. RabbiDoracle: |
DOW Futures up 5%, which is an indicator of how the US market would respond during the day.... for your information. |
Italian Stock Exchange index up 6% and rising.....Chibuking, are you feeling me? By the way, Chibu'king' is my younger brother's name ![]() |
I predict the US would reach a stimulus package deal today, the DOW (DJI) would subsequently experience a bull today and the NSE would follow suit tomorrow. Na prediction oh, no one should use this to discredit me! |
London Stock Exchange (LSE) now up 8%. The LSE index is 20% away from getting back to its 52 week high of 8600+. Soon, the UK would flatten the curve and all would be back to normal gradually. |
Cadbury is @ its lowest in more than 10 years, even though it has been growing its PAT 174% in 2018 and 30% in 2019 (though PAT was down 200% in 2017). It recently hit a support @ N4.9 and has bounced off, hence the attention - its currently on high bid. Its usually illiquid and used as a swing stock by experts. If you wanna buy, be sure to sell @ N7.3 for a good swing, unless you are @ long term. seyisanya: |
I need Zenith to close this week @ N11.85 .....please can you do this for me? |
They say "fear is the key to the pocket of the rich". |
Brent Oil up 5.19% to $30.81 |
I received some intel last week that there are FDIs who are looking to mop up world equities (including Nigeria) with good fundamentals and bottom low prices. They know the effect of the virus is transient and oil prices would rebound soon. If you are in a good bus with currently low price, please hold and wait; patience is "GOLDEN". This is my advice but the rest is up to you. |
London Stock Exchange (LSE) up 6% this morning, seems to be heading back up to February highs! |
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. seyisanya: |
States...maybe, but I doubt if Nigeria would ever be on a lockdown cos of Madam Corona. Oga Hunger kills faster than Madam Corona, and when you lockdown a country, with little to zero productivity, you unleash Oga Hunger on all and sundry. Moreover, it is states/cities on lockdown in the US, not the entire country....don't let the headline deceive you. Chibuking81: |
Its likely, but i "wish to expect" more! Mcy56: |
I had a 20 kobo dividend estimate for FCMB, reason why i am in the bus. However, with Fidelity @ N0.20, I am tempted to revise upwards to N0.25. Either ways, this is good incentive for the price to remain relatively stable (fluctuating about a point) in the short to mid term. Mcy56: |
There are 2 final supports for Zee.... N10.7 and N9.0. If there is a reversal tomorrow, then all is well. Else, it might be heading for the last support of N9.0 as stated. Either ways, I shall average down from current price, as I still have firepower. RabbiDoracle: |
As long as profit is made eventually, it really doesn't matter to me when i enter. I have some interesting info I can't share at this time. sellydion: |
I am only showing her respect oh, after 15k+ deaths around the world and counting....! Godisfaithful: |
Happily joined Zee this morning @ N10.85. Whether it goes down or not is left to Madam Corona, but i am glad to be in. |
NO be small danger zone....MTNN to the rescue! dipoolowoo: |
Congratulations bro, i see you are trading on support and resistance....smart one! Agbalowomeri: |
Thank you MTN, i was getting worried that we would cross the last support (22k) before Armageddon. I am still hopeful! |
I pray DangCem falls one more time tomorrow @ 10%.....this is an awesome season of love! |
My first guess is current market forces, second guess is the number of expats that work for the company and the possibility of plant closures due to a potential outbreak from one of them expats. Either ways, the fall provides an opportunity for the consortium of bargain hunters. Umargarr: |
http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/29420_U_A_C_N__OF_NIGERIA_PLC._CORPORATE_ACTIONS_MARCH_2020.pdf Purchased more than N2 above current rates.....hmmm! |
Definitely, though at this moment, it ain't showing any signs of significant near-term recovery. lancee: |
wow....what a start! |
Just got mine. Seems the charges are now 10%? otokx: |
SOMEBODY SAY ....JULIUS BERGER |
