Its beginning to happen...... Bomboclad: We are heading for an ASI low of 20,000 which is where we got to during the 2008 financial crisis. I expect the high CAP stocks like DangCem, BUA, MTNN, etc to take us there by end of this week or early next week. Most stocks have taken huge beatings and are close to their all time lows. Lets be hopeful as the aim is to make money; nothing else! |

Someone has been massively selling @ N9.10, tryna keep the price low. Once he or she is done, upward movement would be restored. Support @ N9.0, don't think it would be broken, but i might be wrong! For those who don't understand how market sentiments work, look @ the rise in Sterling Bank even after a 3kobo dividend announcement that some think is very disappointing. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 12:29pm On Mar 27, 2020 |
I expect a major equity to go up @5% or higher today. If that happens, then next week could see a temporary bull. Else, we continue with the flat market for some time. But I don't see us going down massively any longer, we are already @ recession levels. |

Exactly! RabbiDoracle: It is not a dividend stock.
Without dividend, it hit 2.74. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 4:00pm On Mar 26, 2020 |
On point! To be fair to Sterling Bank, no dividend was paid last year, and the bank did better than last year in terms of PAT. From your observation wrt JBerger, it is clear that market sentiments is more important than value in today's market; else, Transcorpse wouldn't be where it is, same as HoneyFlour and many others. seyisanya: 3kobo? Well, current market no send again ooo. Imagine JB receiving bashing despite good dividend and bonus. |

So let me say something on WAPCO for those that ain't sure whats going on.
First of all, if you are still in the WAPCO bus, then my advice at this time is - DO NOT SELL till you see the YE result, which should be out soon
Secondly, when i look at my charts, I see WAPCO bounced off the last support @ N9.00 and is currently @ N9.30. From this point, it could either hover between these prices or move up. It would be unprecedented for the price to go below N9.00 substantially but who knows!
3Q EPS stands @ N1.28k, and there is a projection that the company performed much better in 4Q, 2019.
The monthly chart indicates a positive divergence. Till we see 4Q result, nothing would make sense anyways. These are my thoughts but its up to YOU. |

The ASI is at its very last support next to 20,000 which is where we fell to during the 2008 financial crisis and 2012. We are currently @ 21,747 which is 8% away from 20,000. I would be foolish to sell at this time if I have taken a hit. However, one could take advantage of the fluctuations in prices while we wait. There is absolutely no cause for alarm. locodemy: Market don Waka pass again today. Are you sure all these strong support without breakout is not a style to dump?
Is this still called positive divergence? |

A Chinese man anonymously offered to use someone I know as a proxy to invest a whole lot of money (amount withheld) to buy our stocks at currently low rates, knowing it would bounce back shortly; my friend declined. So i was not surprised that some individuals launched a campaign here to convince people our market would crash to the floor. I have a lot to say but no need. Make we sidon dey look! leo1234: *WELL PLAYED CHINA....*
*SCENE 1 :* The curtain opens: China becomes ill, enters a "crisis" and paralyzes its trade. The curtain closes.
*SCENE II.* The curtain opens: The Chinese currency is devalued. They do not do anything. The curtain closes.
*SCENE III.* The curtain opens:: Due to the lack of trade of companies from Europe and the USA that are based in China, their shares fall 40% of their value.
*SCENE IV.* The curtain opens:: The world is ill, China buys 30% of the shares of companies in Europe and the US at a very low price. The curtain closes.
*SCENE V.* The curtain opens: China has controlled the disease and owns companies in Europe and the US. And he decides that these companies stay in China and earn $ 20,000Billions. The curtain closes. How is the play called?
*SCENE VI:* *Checkmate!*
*ReAmazing but true*
Two videos have passed between yesterday and today that convinced me of something I suspected, but had no basis. It was just my speculation. Now I am convinced that the coronavirus was purposely propagated by the Chinese themselves.
At first they were too prepared. Three weeks after the start of the roll, 14 days and a 12,000-bed hospitals were already under construction. And they really built them in two weeks.
Awesome.
Yesterday they announced that they had stopped the epidemic. They appear in videos celebrating, they announce that they even have a vaccine. How could they create it so quickly without having all the genetic information? Well if you are the owner of the formula it is not difficult at all. And today I just saw a video that explains how Den Xiao Ping gave the west a half stick. Due to the coronavirus, the actions of Western companies in China fell dramatically. China I just hope, when they went down enough they bought them. Now the companies, Created by the USA and Europe in China with all the technology put in by these exchanges and their capital they passed into the hands of China, which is now rising with all that technological potential and will be able to set prices at will to sell everything they need to the West. How are you?
None of this could have happened by chance. China who cared that a few old men died? Fewer old-age pensions to pay, but the loot has been huge. And right now the West is financially defeated, in crisis and stunned by the disease. And without knowing what to do.
Masterfully diabolic. It had to be the communists. |
Adding to this, they are now the single largest owners of US treasury with 1.18 trillion holding surpassing Japan. An instrument that has seen the most rally
One ☝ prospective & Analogy -------_--------------_-------////-////// How come Russia & North Korea have Low or Zero incidence of Covid- 19 ?
Is it because they are staunch allies of China
On the other hand USA / South Korea / United Kingdom / France / Italy / Spain and Asia are severely hit
How come Wuhan is suddenly free from the deadly virus?
China says that the drastic initial measures that they took were very stern and Wuhan was locked down to contain the spread to other areas
Why Beijing was not hit ? Why only Wuhan?
It is interesting to ponder upon.. right ?
Well ..Wuhan is open for business now
Covid - 19 needs to be seen in the backdrop of the arm twisting of China by USA in the trade war
America and all the above mentioned countries are devastated financially
Soon American economy will collapse as planned by China.
China knows it CANNOT defeat America militarily as USA is at present THE MOST POWERFUL country in the world.
So use the virus...to cripple the economy and paralyse the nation and its Defense capabilities.
I am sure Nancy Pelosi got a part in this.... to topple Trump....
Lately President Trump has always been telling of how the GREAT American economy was improving on all fronts and jobs were coming back to the USA
The only way to destroy his vision of making AMERICA GREAT AGAIN is to create an ECONOMIC HAVOC.
Nancy Pelosi was unable to bring down Trump through impeachment.....so work along with China to destroy Trump by releasing a virus.
Wuhan's epidemic was a showcase.
At the peak of the virus epidemic....China's President Xi Jinping...just wore a simple RM1 facemask to visit those effected areas.
As President he should have been covered from head to toe.....but that was not the case.
He was already injected to resist any harm from the virus....that means a cure was already in place before the virus was released
China's vision is to control the World ECONOMY by buying up stocks now from countries facing the brink of severe ECONOMIC COLLAPSE.....Later China will announce that their Medical Researchers have found a cure to destroy the virus
Now China shall OWN the stocks of All Western Alliances and these countries will soon be slave to their NEW MASTER..... CHINA |

London stock exchange up 11% this morning, after a 10.4% jump yesterday. By tomorrow, with similar rise, the LSE index would be back to where it was before COVID-19; yet London is on lockdown.

Bomboclad: I predict the US would reach a stimulus package deal today, the DOW (DJI) would subsequently experience a bull today and the NSE would follow suit tomorrow.

While I neither dispute nor disregard your words, I am optimistic that time will tell and we would all learn from the events of today and tomorrow. Either ways, money must be made. thebargainhunte: The euphoria can only last for three days and the reality will hit them. Trump knows that the stimuli wouldn't stimulate the economy if he fails to reopen businesses. It is because of that he said that he would reopen businesses before Easter. If the situation worsen, expect what played in China to happen in USA. We have two problems facing our country right now, which are covid19 and Brent price. The gbese go soon start, Lagos is about to lock down starting from Thursday and other states will follow suit. Don't use what is happening in a foreign country to predict what will happen in Nigeria, we have our peculiarities. It is better to miss an opportunity than to lose your money in Nigeria. People bought at those prices and they were averaging down. |
