After the markdown, FBNH would reverse @ N4.2 ...passengers take note! |

Market went as I expected. Bomboclad: In my opinion, the current downward slide in Banking stocks show the reversal is still in the works. The initial rise today is correction for drastic drop yesterday. I still predict the reversal for next week (I have a day in mind but do not want to mislead, in case I am wrong).
I might be wrong though; We are watching.... |

I loaded a "handsome" quantity this morning @ N4.55 because I believe it would get close to N5.0 before mark down, fall by N0.38 and still benefit from the rise in banking stocks which should kick in next week. Just thought I should share; not a trade advisory. Mcy56: Monday 20th is final qualification date. |

That's the idea. Once it gets that low, it would be forced to move, so we get dividend & move. Mcy56: Abeg make una release am ooo, removing 38k from 4.60 will be bad. |

Certainly! Mcy56: I think it sometimes depends on the info at one's disposal as well as one's investment strategy too. This could apply to fundamental stocks, one can join moving train if he/she is sure of what he's pursuing. E.g.......... |

OK RabbiDoracle: I'm seeing a rise in banks tomorrow. Will it be a sharp bust from tomorrow into next week? We will see. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 3:01pm On Apr 16, 2020 |
I clearly remember when he mentioned this. Mcy56: Means you've not been following the discussions here as such. When NB fell to around 24 or so, oga Oracle mentioned that it should get to around 22+ or thereabout, and that it will be good for pick at that junction......not the exact word. Pa Emma also said something positive about it. I equally echoed it and also mentioned it to someone. Can't search for the post now. Some good info do come in thru jokes and normal postings, make Una dey read all but sift it. |

I know why you saw it that way; the retracement in NSEBNK is actually TEMPORARY but will last a few days, so next week will see a reversal. This is what I see though, its over to the market. RabbiDoracle: I expected the banks to reverse their losses later in the day. Let's see how it trades tomorrow. |

Never chase a moving train, especially when its on high speed.... you might injure yourself. It doesn't mean you've done wrong, just something i learnt the hard way. atere4ever: I'm yet to understand something. Since NB has been 22 I keep placing trades but it never gets filled. I placed at 24.4, no way. @26.8, no way. Those are the opening prices. Until today, I placed @29.45, then it got filled. Maybe it will close there. |

NB had been talked about here before it started its rise. However, i assume most persons here ain't in there, including me. atere4ever: Oga Oracle, see what Nigerian Breweries share price has been doing. 10 10% since last week. Why is nobody talking about this? Sis Mcy, you've been dodging this stock. |

Brokerage commission is 0.75% for both buy and sell trades ....lowest in the market! They are also efficient in my opinion. Ehuatamuigunisi: What is the sell/buy commission of mytradebook? |

WAPCO faithfuls: the market is only doing its usual retracement, after which it would most likely move higher than previous; so don't despair. I would join you guys then. |

Reason why i moved from Meritrade to Mytradebook. Mytradebook is cheaper and very efficient (i wouldn't say "more efficient" because I haven't performed such a study) akinssan: Because of the redness on the floor meritrade refuse to open. |

I see another rally in DangCem next week....i might be wrong though! Mcy56: Osita, dangcem is forming defensive at the moment and it's up by N2.9, it may not fall as expected.

Exactly. I watched Brent slide downwards when the news of 10Mbpd cut broke out. 20Mbopd was expected; this isn't good enough! sophy17: 10 million bpd production cut is not good enough. The excess production that brought down the oil price waa in that range before covid 19 pandemic increased it to about 20 million bpd due to world inactivity. So the production cut needed now is about 20million bpd. This present agreement can only stop further crash and perhaps hedge it a little except there are clear signals that the worst of covid 19 is over. |

UACN would move up slowly and surely. I have loaded already. WAPCO would most likely retrace. Either ways, 40% isn't bad at all Zenith, UBA, etc begin their retacement shortly! onegentleguy: We shall look in to review how smart he was later !!
I have since said that people should HOLD on to their stakes in WAPCO and UACN... and ACCUMULATE more if possible. ...Something good is happening !!
It is well. |

When the "corn" matures again, we would buy. locodemy: Those jijoists that got out of Wapco at 12.90. Una be the real winners. Wapco is set to drink water today. After all e don try to deliver. Will still ride on if today's meeting for oil cut is successful. |
