Well, in summary...
I used a vector editor (Inkscape) to trace out the original image to obtain and generate an SVG file that contained the path i needed,
then, the magic was in the 'strokeDashoffset' style attr of the 'path' tag( in actual sense, this offsets the 'strokeDasharray' attr). When this attr equals the total length of the path string, the image is invisible, but while it decreases and tends to zero, the image is drawn... So the aim was to animate the gradual decrease of this attr..

I hope I managed to explain it... I might give a tutorial on it if you guys permit me..
Oh.. BTW.. I used Javascript.

"hostnm" should produce "www.nairaland.com".

oh..you might need to validate your url string before using the function, and i tested it on firefox... you can confirm if it also works on IE (not so sure though..)

Just to fully clarify
'Class.method() = method' would give a syntax error, as you can't assign to a function call
As omoelu rightfully pointed, the bark in 'Dog.bark' is a class variable not a method.

@OP i would advice you contact Interswitch directly since it involves an individual bank account, I believe they have APIs for such, you might need to setup Merchant IDs for your customers and link them to your payment gateways. Basically, finding a third party company for your task might be challenging, considering, most would be dealing with a foreign account. Haing said that, Paypal might come in handy if you trust the email stuff... Hope that helped

You can use these files, just put both in the same folder and run the "birthday_reminder_gui.py" file.... the "backend.py" file can as well be used solely, the gui file was just for fun...
PS: my python is a lil rusty, hope you'll find it useful.

dat's strange. . . . but not impossible though. . . . is ur computer networked . . . . or is it in anyway connected 2 anoda pc? if it is, then maybe sum1 is trying 2 play a prank thru a remote control software, u could confirm dis by checking if there is any background unusual prog running , if not then i guess it could be a virus of some sort on ur messenger. . . . just uninstall, download 4rm anoda source and reinstall, hope dis helps.
