Burob:Run along and look for a topic to discuss solar energy. Pathetic. |
Burob:How does that absolve the government of incompetence? That is how you people keep evading the problem and wonder why the country is stagnated. What did Tinubu promise regarding electricity? That if he doesn't give us steady power supply, he shouldn't be voted for again. The people truly deserve their government. People are now accustomed to bad governance that they absolve leaders of their responsibilities. Pity.

Things like this constitute gross misconduct. What do you expect from a government that has Daniel Bwala as an adviser to the president? There is only one Assembly with a spine in this country and any informed person knows the state where it is located. The legislature holding the head of the executive branch to account is a concept alien to most people in this country. |
Mtcheww. People who do not know what public service entails. |
Staggering incompetence at various levels, but the focus is on accepting governors into APC. Misplaced priority. Power that isn't being used to do anything meaningful. |
I share your views, but unfortunately we have a very incompetent government. Only two ministers are doing their jobs; FCT Minister and perhaps another. The rest are just answering titles. It is made worse by a lot of useless people as advisers. The National Assembly has relinquished its duties, and should learn a thing or two from Rivers lawmakers about their constitutional duties. USAID was accused of funding terrorism here, but no investigation was done. You can't even dive into counterintelligence because the CIA is having a field day here. The sponsors of terrorism are claiming they want to solve it. This problem was created with the sole aim of keep Nigeria down. There is nothing Christian about the government of the USA, so their pretence or even pretext in that regard already has alarm bells ringing, yet most people are still sleeping. Imagine Daniel Bwala as an adviser. The NSA is Ribadu. Forget it. Even the politics they said the man from Lagos knows is rubbish. Nigeria has lost its voice in the international scene. Venezuela invasion happened and no statement. Even during Buhari's time, it wasn't as bad as this. |
peleson1:That's your view. I gave an analysis. The manner in which Tinubu is playing his politics will decide his fate. There are a lot of emotional, political lightweights influencing him, while there is a battle ahead which requires people with proven capacity and experience in the system by his side. Just look at the element called Bwala advising Tinubu. Tomorrow, another nonentity will speak regarding an election they won't participate in and issues that do not concern them. Picture this; People are with you. The only thing they said is that a particular person must go. There are political and constitutional reasons backing their decision. Yet you are playing rubbish politics. We shall see how it unfolds. You don't go about jeopardising your ally's interest. |
A dumb narrative for people who can't think for themselves to digest. |
Jayce242:We shall see. Fubara that is breaking laws every second. A clueless neophyte. Tinubu is gambling. Did APC make Fubara the governor? Only one defeat and APC is over. Far weaker than the PDP from my analysis. Begging and strong-arming governors to join their party. How certain are they that those entering their party will work for Tinubu? Look at how he interfered in Lagos regarding Obasa. Hypocritical lot. Even the government is full of incompetent people, except a few. Rivers people will play their politics, any interloper who puts his hands will get burnt. |
It is a shame. Just like the NBA soliciting and accepting unappropriated N300M from Fubara without disclosing it. The disclosure wouldn't also have changed the illegality for an association promoting the rule of law. They never condemned Fubara's illegalities. The branch is simply following the steps of the NBA President. |
Jayce242:Let me see the impact Bwala will add to Tinubu's re-election. They should keep basking in this euphoria. Once Tinubu loses the election, Bwala will be the first to vanish. Also, nobody is holding the governor. He is violating the constitution and getting the consequences. The governor is only the head of the executive branch, we have three branches of government. |
Nothing spiritual about it. Politics is about power. However, I expect someone like this to give it a spiritual angle in order to gain advantage. Now he is getting coverage. |
The matter is before the Court of Appeal. This despot called Fubara has stalled governance with his disregard for the constitution. The Assembly will continue to perform their constitutional duties. A governor can't govern without the Assembly. The constitution is what is caging Fubara and no one else. The rule of law must be obeyed. |
This current NBA adminstration keeps embarrassing the profession. I wonder how much they took from Maina to give him this award. Last time it was N300M from Fubara.
|
Mtcheww. Who are the sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria and around the world? The deception continues. The growth of Nigeria is against the demonic interests of the U.S. They want weak, subservient countries. |
Someone like Bwala has no business being in government. It just shows how low the country has descended. Check his past remarks about Tinubu, yet he has the effrontery to speak. Despite Wike being a strong supporter of the president, he is also a hardworker and performer. On merit alone, he deserves a lot of things. Although I'm yet to see how he has been adequately compensated as claimed by Bwala. Exaggerated nonsense. Bwala is an opportunist driven by his stomach. I don't blame him. He got this job by crawling on his knees. A man without dignity. Others have done the work, now he can run his mouth. What stops Bwala from having the resources Wike has? Is he not a man like him? Some people just envy others. Impeachment is a constitutional process and not a party affair. Before someone like this opens his mouth, he should at least have something meaningful to say. The article is just crap. If Tinubu loses his re-election bid, Bwala will vanish and say worse than he previously did. A leopard doesn't change its spots. Political nonentities like this with no capacity should be cautioned about their utterances, before they cause a re-alliance that will jeopardise Tinubu's interest. Tinubu didn't pick Fubara to be the governor. Leave Rivers politics alone for the participants. A mistake will be corrected. Fubara and his deputy must go for peace to return. They have clearly broken laws at numerous intervals. The lawmakers can't work with them given their penchant for violating the constitution. Our courts have used words like "tyrant" and "despot" to describe Fubara. Get your emotions out of it. Hard choices must be made. |
AMINDA:Conflict entrepreneur spotted. How any sensible person knows those against Tinubu's re-election is that they try to pitch Tinubu against Wike by peddling rubbish and making up scenarios. |
This one has developed the habit of talking carelessly. |
This is a senseless governor. I know of a governor who used that same label and is the most clueless ingrate in Nigeria. This is the preferred label of empty vessels. |
The president should stop these useless meetings and focus on important issues like security. Misplaced priority. |
After the removal of Fubara and his deputy, this corrupt forger of a Chief Judge is next. The system must be cleansed. I have never seen a Chief Judge who begs like this one. Very shameless. The Assembly will perform its duty. |
This is the worst Chief Judge in the history of Rivers State. A corrupt beggar like Sim who has reduced the judiciary to a department of the executive branch. A shame to Rivers State and the judiciary. He has descended into the arena with the forgery dangling over his head. Once Fubara and his deputy are out, he is next. |
Igirigimercenar:He is an Ikwerre man, simple. It is a distinct ethnic group in Nigeria. Stop being mischievous with the Benin/Igbo labels. |
This man is a nuisance. I question his mental state. |
You clearly lack an understanding of the political reality in Rivers State. Fubara lacks the capacity to match Wike's political might. He lacks a lot of things, including knowledge and experience. A governor is not a king, especially in a state like Rivers, where you have a very active political scene. You must be grounded. Fubara is the governor (Head of the executive branch), but has no political clout. He was a civil servant handpicked by Wike (a veteran politician) and made a governor. The political structures in the state are controlled by Wike. The funds of Rivers State doesn't belong to Fubara, part of why he is being impeached. You can't spend funds recklessly. Such things are only overlooked when the Assembly is on your side. Look at the laws he has broken so far, and the numerous mistakes he has made. Give him all the funds, and he will still lose. During Wike's tenure, did you see him begging the president like Fubara is currently doing? You can't give what you don't have. This is a governor (Fubara) that the Federal High Court called a tyrant, and the Supreme Court called him a despot. The worst mistake Tinubu will make is to pitch his tent with a clueless ingrate who doesn't honour agreement. Fubara is on his way out. |
bigpicture001:Rest for who? Take this primitive mindset elsewhere. You are even shamelessly acknowledging the use of EFCC as a political tool to stifle opposition. He has every right to contest. |
Jagabanfromcali:You guys are always driven by emotion. Later you will be crying about Tinubu. Qoko:See them. Emotional lot. |
You draw a line in Greenland, but not Venezuela? Clowns. They have been condoning Trump's illegalities starting from his first term. Republicans are spineless. Even though I disagree with Mitch McConnell's characterisation of Trump's proposed illegality as a mere "provocation", I agree with his summation of it as "incinerating the hard-won trust of loyal allies in exchange for no meaningful change in US access to the Arctic." |
tnerro1:Try to know and understand something first, before saying you love it. Is democracy hinged on a corrupt party like PDP's survival? What benefit has PDP brought to Nigeria since its inception? We have a multiparty system in Nigeria. Support your PDP, but don't gaslight people. PDP's survival is IMMATERIAL to our democracy. Ensure you get that in your head. |
Lekby25:Martin Amaewhule has no ambition right now to be the governor. He has the right in the future to contest, if he so wishes. Being an acting governor after the impeachment of the governor and his deputy is simply the law and temporary. You guys are just myopic and concerned with the wrong things. You are not bothered that the governor is ruling the state as a despot. What a shame. |
He should continue attending meetings. Lawless Desperado. He will learn the hard way. |
