This is quite shameful... A father caught his 17-year-old daughter having sex with her first cousin identified as Mustapha. He caught his nephew pants down with his teenage daughter. The father who filmed the confession of the young man who is 21-years-old in a trending video footage published online, confirmed from his nephew that this has been happening for a long time now under his nose without him knowing.

The man also blasted his young daughter who was involved in the act, as she felt remorseful. He later asked his nephew to apologise to her for taking advantage and convincing the teenage girl to have sex with him.

On Monday 17th July 2017, four Boko Haram terrorists willingly deserted their hideouts and surrendered themselves of 120 Task Force Battalion at Goniri. Among them was a high-profile terrorist, Konto Fanami, the Ameer of Kafa hideout of the Boko Haram terrorists group that operates along Ajigin-Talala-Mungusum axis.

During preliminary interrogation, they confirmed that they abandoned the terrorism because of incessant hardship and realizing that they were misled by their terrorist group leaders.

They further stated they were also erroneously misinformed and brainwashed about Islam and the Nigerian military and the society generally.

The remorseful surrendered terrorists regretted their involvement in terrorism and marveled at the courtesies and humane treatment accorded them by the military on surrendering.

We call on those remnants of Boko Haram terrorists to follow suit and renounce the devilish creed as adequately arrangement has made to receive all those that voluntarily renounce terrorism and surrender themselves and will be treated humanely.

Some passengers have been left seriously injured following a ghastly motor accident which happened this morning in Oyo state. The incident which occured at ANCE /Alesinloye road in front of Omiyale Railway Quarters in Ibadan - was reportedly caused by the driver who was over-speeding as the car somersaulted multiple times. A man has lost two wives and six children (family of eight) in flash floods that occurred as a result of heavy downpour in some localities around Suleija, a Niger State neighbourhood bordering the nation's capital. According to reports, over ten persons are presumed dead by residents who were washed off by the surging floods even as they seek the intervention of emergency services.

A Cleric was also pictured praying for one of the recovered body of Sa'adu Abubakar's wife who died in floods that washed off humans and houses.

The coffee shop owner lost two wives and six children in the disastrous flooding that begun on Saturday night and lasted for over ten hours while also leaving him homeless.

Families and members of the community are out on search for the remaining dead bodies while others are out here commiserating with the believed family man.

Residents told TVC News crew that the disaster seemed to have been waiting in watch as several persons violated urban development plans and misusing drainage channels.

The combatant and ever vigilant Asaba Vigilante Corp has scored another victory in its determined commitment to help rid Asaba of criminals and make the capital city a more peaceful abode. On the 8th of June,the team arrested two alleged notorious rapists and armed robbers Ejima Odita and Ifeanyi Iloba known for terrorizing people at the traditional Eke Square ,Asaba.

One of the arrested kingpins Ejime Odita is said to have been on the radar of the vigilante team for sometime since some of his victims have been filing reports to the vigilante corp.

The two culprits are of Asaba community and they were alleged to have been robbing their victims at gun point claiming to be the chairman and members of the Asaba Vigilante Corp. The suspects were arrested after an alleged rape of an 18 yr old girl at gun point after threatening to shoot her if she raises any alarm.

According to the press release by the Asaba anti cult group,the suspects have been handed over to the police.

An unidentified lady was killed and her corpse dumped behind Rovenia filling station, Isheri Osun, Lagos. No one knows how her lifeless body ended up getting there as residents and passersby were shocked to find her body by the road side this morning.

Nigeria Jollof has been declared the best in first ever Washington DC Jollof Festival. On July 2, 2017, Ms. Atinuke Ogunsalu of Queensway Restaurant & Catering in Maryland, US, became the winner of the first ever Jollof Hackathon presented by I/O Spaces during Jollof Festival In Washington DC. The event was organized by Afropolitan Insights.

Ms. Ogunsalu proved to all that Nigerians can indeed cook Jollof when she secured her country the win at the event. Her competitors at the event were Cameroon, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.

Each finalist was given five minutes to present their dish to the judges who based their decisions on participants’ presentation, taste, and originality.

Newly crowned #JollofFestival champion Ms. Ogunsalu told walked away with US$1000 co-working services from event partner I/O Spaces and an opportunity to become a Chef at Jollof Caviar; an upscale African Fusion Restaurant Opening in Washington DC in 2019.

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Agusta 109 Light Utility Helicopter has suffered a mishap while undertaking a liaison mission targeted at further enhancing the synergy between the Nigerian Army and the NAF in the ongoing counterinsurgency operation in the North East.

The incidence, which occurred today, 6 July 2017, was as a result of an airborne technical fault with the helicopter. The experienced NAF pilots, however, successfully ditched the helicopter into a pool of water to minimize damage and loss of lives.

Consequently, there were neither any injuries nor loss of lives to anyone on board or on the ground.

The Chief of the Air Staff has immediately directed the constitution of a board of inquiry to determine the exact cause of the incidence while efforts are ongoing to recover the helicopter and members of the board are already in Maiduguri to commence work.

The NAF continues to solicit the understanding and support of the general populace as it daily strives to ensure the security of Nigeria and Nigerians.

A thief got "lucky" after he was caught trying to rob a lady of her phone. After he was nabbed, his captors put tyre round his neck and brought fuel to light him up. The young thief who was abandoned by his gang member - was beaten to pulp with blood oozing out from his body as he began to cry knowing what awaited him...

The lady whom the young man tried to stab in the course of the robbery said 'No to jungle justice'. She said that the police should handle the matter so the young man will go to jail.
