OP hope this story would make you feel better. It was my sisters wedding and it was time for gift collection and the grooms man started helping to collect gifts (according to him) when a guy came to whisper that some people hadnt eaten and were complaining that he wld collect the gifts for him, from no where his partner came out to help collect and they were both wearing suits. Well at the end of the wedding we realised all the enveloped/ cash gifts were missing and the 2 guys were no where to be seen. After asking around no one actually knew who they were, my inlaws thought it was someone from our family we thought the same or even maybe a friend. We had to get the camera guy to get the video out early got the guys faces went to police ..long thing.. asked from the venue managers, they said they didnt know the guys and it was a new dimension.... For real if you look at the video you wld know its a planned scheme, as in the guys hard sharp suits and the tie color matched the colour code for the day. After that experience i'm always on the look out at weddings and thats how i caught a crook at my friends wedding, i saw the guy picking cash while spraying was on and he looked strange, i accosted him and he claimed to be with the camera crew of which they denied him, i handed him over to the police and he casted his other members who had been stealing wines from tables. For my wedding e remain small make i import marines to guard all gifts and the venue. 1 Like |

Moral learnt, get your airbag serviced as often as recommended and don't put kids below 12yrs in the front seat (as hard as that might be cos i also get tempted to have my lil girl beside me instead of using the rear view mirror to play with her)...kids shld be strapped in at the back seat!! |

I believe this would be a viable biz for house wives, fresh graduates with no job and need something to keep them busy, shop owners etc....Your basic investment is cost of getting this online shop, internet or black berry connection, strength to meet some local shops near you to get pics of goods and prices. When any client places an order you simply call or walk to your local shop pick the item or purchase it, make your delivery and deduct your commission. |

I have a shopping site naijabuys..com which i would like to sell. Its up for bidding so if interested please reply. Reason for selling, i need to move on to other things, it started as a hobby which i found quite interesting, but its on a level that needs a bit of seriousness which i cant offer cos a major challenge is we dont own most of the products we liaise with shops and brands and get their price list and pics which we upload, a customer places an order and we purchase from any of the stores and deliver...and all this is a bit time consuming for me now, got other stuffs i do. FYI: Innosson manufactures some components in Nigeria. Innosson started with importing motor cycles and had a plastic manufacturing company, he realised he could reduce cost and make more profit by reducing the size of components being imported(plastic parts of a motor bike) **Coscharis used this same tactics, if one container can carry 40 bikes, if u remove some plastic parts you get to load more bikes in a container**. Same innovation he has put into the buses, most parts plastic and material (chairs etal) are produced in nigeria. Bottom line he has to be given credit for job creation to the painters , paint manufacturers, tailors etc. I believe thats what we should commend him for. And we can now raise issues on safety based on tests and also statements from firms and individuals already using their vehicles. |
