hi all, you could also start an online shop for as little as 20,000 naira and its a one off payment to the developer, you simply pay your hosting fees of as little as 3,500 yearly. Using and managing your online shop is as easy as using your facebook account. The management portal allows you monitor products viewed regularly and place emphasise on "hot products" also you can allow people create sub-shops on your platform. You really do not need to have a physical shop presently, you can simply have an agreement with any manufacturer, company or existing shop, you sell their products on you site, if you get an order you simply go to them and pick for delivery , some companies even help you with delivery. A black berry isnt compulsory but it keeps you abreast realtime, you can have live chats with any visitor to your site. check 2 of mine www.naijabuys.com www.nanaplusng.com You do not have to quit your office job!!! for more send a mail to info@naijabuys.com |
From what i know Rochas has got 3 schools (east, west, North) and i have a cousin who actually went to one, you only pay a subsidised amount for feeding and tuition is free, i have always acknowledge this even before he won the election, my fear is if the powers that be would allow him apply 'government' funds judiciously. Initial gra-gra is ok, at least it sets a pace for something, if he aims at 100 maybe we would get 70. But emphasis should be on industries, owerri cant boast of standard industries (just hotels), with industries there would be generation of funds for more scholarships vis-a-vis tax, ask fashola how much is generated from tax cos of industries around. Lets get ada palms running again, but nike resort on the map, find a way to tap into 'ota mmiri'. With 5 colleges in the state theres enough human traffic for recreational sites and also graduates for man power Bottom line i wish the guy the best of luck cos he needs it to halt the downward slide imo state was on and myopic and sycophantic politicians around him. |

Its quite annoying when some individuals cant accept criticism without making it a racial or tribal issue, the issue on ground is about almajiri's and its predominant in the north. So if im proffering a solution by saying 'elites in north are to blame and should endeavor to correct the anomaly ' whats wrong with that, i cant leave the south to come solve the problem but i can comment as a stake holder in Nigeria, if we talk of crime in Aba and you give a reasonable solution its all good, So lets have an open mind. Bottom line the northern elites benefit from the present situation the have a bunch of hungry soldiers to use at any of their whims. You need to see them gleefully dole out food on Fridays to this hungry bands and the 'hailing' they receive (its a bit tempting to receive such reverence) , but it doesnt make sense. I'm speaking on the little i know- but what would it cost a Dangote to build a shelter to rehabilitate these boys and still provide the same islamic studies to them, or Ibb, or Atiku, Or the thousands of rich northerners? As the article posted earlier said, "we are sitting on a keg of gun powder waiting to explode, the north would soon get too small for them to carry out their atrocities and they would spread out. On the issue of cartels using kids to beg, its rampant in Lagos, they bring them in truck loads and use them to beg, they make remittance to certain Alhajis, i speak with facts on this. After i got to know i vowed not to give cash to any beggar again, rather i occasionally package a nylon of biscuit, sweet and a drink which amounts to about N60 believing that no mallam some where can deprive the kid of it, but had to stop when i was warned that i could get lynched on suspicion of poisoning or trying to use them for rituals. Its that bad that some years back when i and some friends started doing a charity program of offering drugs and clothes to beggars at ijora bridge, we were told some people come around to take and in some cases offer them peanuts to buy what we offered to them. |

I just started an online shop and i have to confess judging online shopping appeal would be dicey, first i was skeptical but after getting several responses (been doing a lot of spamming and made some car stickers) by mail, phone, online chat i saw light at the end of the tunnel, but in terms of sales its been a bit poor, more annoying is when people call you and want to start haggling prices with you or some call you and expect you to have all prices and details on every product, details which they could get by reading the product information on the site. Another draw back has been trust, considering the 'Nigerian 419' factor, i had to avoid debit/credit payments do more of pay on delivery and bank deposits. But i believe its a chain, most clients have been referrals and i believe every referral would refer some one else, you service delivery would sell you. All that said i believe online shop has a long way to go in naija, but with internet penetration banking laws i believe it would come to stay!!!! Poster a lil advertisement : We help individuals who need to open their online shops do so; You really dont have to leave your day job to start selling online, with a black berry, reliable suppliers, if you can afford it a weekday deliverer, you can sell from the comfort of your office while you do your day job. Is also wonderful for house wives. call/text: 08021323231 |
I learned something from an older colleague, to start a business you calculate factors. You have to just accept the fact that light is an issue so when doing your calculations factor in cost of power, and see what margin you have as profit. if it pays, then go ahead with the biz, when ever Power supply becomes steady you call the savings extra profit. |
uchenna: ok, no more adverts on your 'sales page' , and if i have to use your line "i have humbly lived all my life in Nigeria" and i believe i know online shops work here. With your kind of business attitude dealing with you seems scary and for someone who has lived all her/his (still to be verified) life in "US" how do we know you are for real. And a lil correction i didnt advertise to buy from my online shop, i advertised to design an online shop. Business Online is an open market and you have got to have an open mind when dealing with people. You are using a platform created by an individual and you didn't pay a dime for it, so go easy on the attitude, if you need privacy to sell then build your own platform. wow, my mind typed out, i can give you a and tell you its OK and im off your page!!! Wish you well dearie!!!oh , if you ever need to design your online shop , hit me up!!! |

Perfect for housewives who need to be busy (simply go to your friends shop or a supermarket, get pictures and their prices and sell online., you get an order and you get them to deliver or you go to their shop, pick it up, deliver to your customer and collect your commission on top) even if you have a job, you can manage your site from your BB. it is a one of payment of N35,000, and you pay your yearly hosting fee which varies from N3,500 depending on the hosting plan you choose.
