We have investors in Lithium, steel, livestock, we now have the largest medical center in west African. An empty barrel makes the loudest noise, keep making noise on social media, hating on your country. Tinubu is not a noise maker, he is a doer. Baba is working all round, making things happen.
After God na Tinubu ( where's PressMyButton sef ) Congratulations to Mr President. We will congratulate you more when you start using it, instead of running to France to recharge. |

Politics › Re: I’m Not Desperate To Be President, I Just Want Nigeria To Work - Peter Obi by bong4(m): 1:54pm On May 25, 2025 |
ivandragon: Obi needs to understand that to put Nigeria on the track of 'working', the present disaster at the centre must be voted out.
So, if Obi truly has the interests of Nigerians at heart, he needs to join hands with Atiku and others in the opposition so as to present a formidable force to remove bat.
Anything less will be an exercise in futility. When Nigerians have their own interests at heart, they will join hands with Obi and root out the old order, including Atiku. For Christ sake, what is wrong with Obi/ Datti ticket. You can't mix new wine in old skin and expect a better country. |

Crime › Re: Kehinde Alade: Law Enforcement Agencies Should Do Better by bong4(m): 11:00am On May 21, 2025 |
nairashopping: With the tragic incident that occurred in Ibadan today, 20th May 2025, where a 14-year-old boy lost his life during an attempt to enforce traffic laws, it's heartbreaking and unacceptable that law enforcement agencies in Nigeria (The Nigeria Police Force, FRSC, LASTMA, OYTMA and so on) are still chasing vehicles on the road. This outdated method not only endangers the lives of officers but also puts innocent citizens at risk.
In today’s digital age, there are smarter and safer ways to enforce traffic laws. Why not simply capture the vehicle’s plate number and send a fine to the registered owner via SMS or email, along with photo or video evidence of the offence? If the offender refuses to pay, the government can legally deduct double the fine through their Bank Verification Number (BVN). This would reduce chaos and ensure accountability.
This needless loss of life must serve as a wake-up call. We cannot continue to operate in the same reckless manner and expect better outcomes. The government and heads of agencies must take responsibility and embrace technology for safer, more efficient law enforcement. It's time to think forward and prioritize the safety of all Nigerians, especially our children. A case where an irresponsible father meets an unprofessional policeman. |
