When you speak, back it up with facts and figures.
No be to dish out lies from your anus like that male Politician that talks like a school girl.
He go lie finish still get the audacity to tell us to "go and verify"
I wonder how people lie with confidence.
The only "facts and figures" the masses understand are the ones gotten from street statistics and not these high sounding classroom economics that has no bearing with reality. When push comes to shove, we will all know where IMF and World Bank statistics has taken us all along.
GUNITGuy: Why the rush sef ......introduce 18years and make it compulsory for every child to atten a vocational skill for atleast 2yrs or 3yrs .....Either learning I.T, Welding, Software, or even online skills, Tailoring, welding, Rig welding, or Barbing, Hair dressing, even Cobbling and Technical skills relevant in Companies or create self employment.....No one should just come out of school with head knowledge that won't be exchange for money .... Stop this certification rush without any financial skills coming into adulthood it's a trouble looming ... Look at our Agricultural system bastardized because people aren't creative enough to explore it since they told you all must go to school and have a white collar job that would be erased by Artificial intelligence coming from 2035...Jobs like Accounting finance even Medicine and some. Engineering wouldn't be needed it's just a matter of time
A child that can learn all those skills (as you call them) in bold at the age of 16 years will do very well in the University. Those skills aren't introductory either.
officialwdhtv: Moment Super Eagles players were silent as the new national anthem was sang during their match against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa yesterday.
In fairness to them, many Nigerians are still learning the lyrics after it was re-introduced about a week ago.
WizardOfNG: Ajaero will be put in his place. Watch. Tinubu is very clever. He will always stoop to conquer. He needs the support of Nigerians so he will tolerate the misbehaviour and overt sabotage of Ajaero and co for now.
Once Tinubu's reforms start to bear fruit and Nigeria is on the up, positively impacting his popularity and helping him to consolidate power, the likes of Ajaero will be on a one-way ticket to jail trying this nonsense in future.
Tinubu's dealing with Emefiele, before and after he became President, should be a case study for Ajaero and all those who underestimate Mr.President's capacity for ruthlessness because he comes across an amiable and non-confrontational figure.
Fairly predictable chain of events we have seen before and will see again and again.
You succinctly describe a President who is power drunk, self centred, greedy and only thinks about elections rather than the welfare of the citizens.
Daejumong: Rich Pastors and Christians will find it difficult making heaven !!!
Matthew 19:23-24 23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
Why did Jesus say this? Let’s look at the preceding verses?
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
This rich young man was a child of God faithfully keeping his commandments just like many Christians and Pastors today and he was so confident of his stance in God and asked Jesus what he could do to get eternal life! When Jesus told him to sell ALL his properties and GIVE TO THE POOR and then follow him, he walked away Sad!
As a pastor or Christian flying private jets, driving expensive cars and living a life of luxury, Jesus is saying, Sell All and give to the poor and follow him! Jesus said to attain perfection and build treasure in heaven u must do this! This appears difficult and unfair to rich Christians? The disciples thought so as well. Let’s see their reaction in the verses that followed:
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Jesus explained that it may look difficult naturally but with God’s help it is possible!
We can invariably conclude from the teachings of Christ here that if you are a pastor living a life of luxury, flying jets and helicopters and some of your members are poor , heaven will be difficult to make for you! These are words directly from the mouth of Jesus who will decide whether we make heaven! His words are superior to any prophet, king , preacher or apostle in the Bible or in contemporary times!
So the ones driving cars or even trekking will make Heaven abi? Just dey play!
Wike's loyalists led by the State APC CTC Chairman, Tony Okocha; Minority leader of the House of Reps, Kingsley Chinda; other members of the Reps Caucus, LGA Chairmen and others storm Rivers Assembly Quarters in solidarity to the Amaewhule-led Rivers Assembly.
All these Daddies, I see you people matching up and down everyday on television and pictures. What enterprise are you guys involved in apart from politics?
Melagros: You no pass through either public primary or secondary school. Only those who passed through them can relate This post is not for mumu people like you. If school discipline did not help in shaping your life, then you are a goner
You just represented public schools attendees showcasing the fact that you can't pass a simple comment without throwing invectives. Grow up dude!
1. Fuel Subsidy - removed. GEJ folded at the first sign of protest at Ojota.
2. FCT minister - gave it a Southerner
3. Student loan scheme - in the works
4. Coastal road - ongoing
And so on..
But this horrible 0.5 or 0.005% tax on bank transfer his government wants to introduce is too much. We are hearing too of Telecom tax. There's the dreaded Band A electricity palaver on ground.
Excessive taxes are suffocating the people and the economy.
CommonSense1967: The positive impact of the Lagos Calabar coastal road on the Nigerian economy will be huge and generational. I have tried to explain to some why this is a brainer but they seem bent on looking at it from a political and sentimental perspective. Even if Obi was President and he proposed this road, I would have supported it with everything I have.
Nigeria has a long coastline and most are not been used to their full potential. Imagine how many beaches will open up from Lagos to Calabar, imagine world-class hotels, imagine the potential for resorts in many areas.
Look at it from the potential benefits instead of the potential delays and costs.
Projects of this magnitude will experience delays, cost overruns, and many other problems. But we must still start it and plan for potential hiccups as we go along. No matter how ell you plan there will be issues but that is not enough reason to back away form it.
You will always find ways to bring Obi into a writeup that didn't mention his name.
Blessed3434: So sad! This man thought me Law of Evidence and Land Law... So pathetic he died the Day I was set to write his Land Law exams. @Taraba State University, Jalingo.
kettykin: And what is the gdp of those countries, what is the level of infrastructural development there
Thank you so much. This is what limited minds post without asking questions. What man with a flat tyre decides to buy a new car instead of just changing the faulty tyre especially when you have pressing needs to meet? One up there has saliently gone the ethnic route as usual and you won't be surprised this is someone staying close to Lagos-Abeokuta expressway
galantjoe: Nawaoo What gains and opportunities leisure and tourism as a course of study can offer.
Any way, rest in peace
Take a trip to Erin Ijesa Water Fall, Obudu Cattle Ranch, and other Tourist sites across Lagos, United States, Dubai, then come back and ask your question again. Life goes beyond medicine, law and engineering.
Melagros: You no pass through either public primary or secondary school. Only those who passed through them can relate This post is not for mumu people like you. If school discipline did not help in shaping your life, then you are a goner
Well, your manner of response already says a lot of what you passed through in secondary. While you called it "discipline", let me reveal to you for free, all that while, you were being "punished and dehumanized". If you must know, I did my primary education in St. Catherine's Model School, Fawehinmi Street, Ojuelegba, Lagos (just in case you need re-orientation) and then proceeded to a Federal Government College (boarding) which should give you an indication of the training I received.
Melagros: COMRADES, some of us who went to the public school, we been dey received beatings far more than this, but never regarded it as bully And that beating reset our brain enabled us take and complete our studies and also made us good members of the society today!
Can you imagine! You think you are a "good" member of the society because of the beatings you received in school? The fact that you are justifying this actions is an evidence that you aren't even fit to be in this society and should undergo thorough mental sessions.
VinnyBaba: In my Secondary School and University WhatsApp groups, I hardly Comment or make contributions.
I see them online talking about social media trends, Our School days, Visitations, etc and I always Wonder 'Do these Pple have Jobs and ambitions?'.
I talked to a Friend of mine About this and he said 'I am Anti-Social or an Introvert'.
But Really, I see those Alumni WhatsApp Groups as an Organization of Time Wasters.
HOW ABOUT YOU? Comment.
Well, that could say a lot about the personalities in the group but for my own school class Whatsapp group, we have monthly health, business and career seminars; end of the month prayer session (1 hour), formed and registered a functional cooperative, almost done with the modalities of opening a life insurance scheme for members. All these besides the usual banters and other donations to our alma mater and for members' events. There are so many things a class whatsapp group can serve its members if they are open and down to earth.
saphiere: Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has come under scrutiny for promoting his music during a time of mourning following the tragic death of Nollywood actor Junior Pope. Criticism has been voiced by Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu, who questioned the timing of Davido's song release amidst the somber atmosphere surrounding Junior Pope's passing in a boat mishap while returning from a movie shoot.
"This is so insensitive Davido, it's morally wrong for you to be releasing a new song while Nigerians dey mourn Junior Pope. Stop this, what is all this ni tori olorun?", the actor wrote.
