For those claiming Reno is pushing GEJ to our memory. Be calm!

In no distant future most of you will wish you could turn back the hands of time and vote GEJ back to power.

Every year the number of intellectuals who campaigned vigorously for Buhari are dwindling, with many drafting letters of apology to GEJ.

Only two group of Nigerians supports this present administration.
1. Those gaining financially.
2. Those who are intellectually r.etarded.
Politics › Re: Aba; The Sleeping Giant by Born2Breed(f): 8:45am On Sep 23, 2019
Firstly, the federal government is not serious about encouraging local content. If FG is not incompetent, something should have been done about all federal roads leading to and out of Aba.

Secondly, Abia is being ruled by a cabal who cares more about their pockets than the state. The people too are also very silly to keep voting in the same branches of the same old tree. If successive state governors has invested in Aba in terms of good roads, security and sanitation it will generate a lot of revenue into the state coffers.

Lastly, the people in and around Aba are the dirtiest people on planet earth.

Heavy downpour in Benin city today, 18/09/19 leaves occupants of g.r.a @opp. omorodion street off aideyan street without a place to call a home. I had to take pictures to let the governor of the state know his backyard needs help too. Urgent attention is really needed in this area.
Controlling flood in Benin City would have been Oshiomole greatest achievement.

Cantonese:
You see it is very unfortunate when people like you just talk without properly asking questions from those who know or even without properly thinking. You sound like a little boy. There are Kings in this country who are highly respected and their positions are highly respected by all over the country. When a king begins to dabble into politics he begins to lose his respect from among his people and the politicians too. Probably you do Njote know that there are kings who hardly move away from their kingdoms for such visits to people who eventually will tarnish their images. A king is father and has a way of carrying himself. The seat is very prestigious and honorable. Those Kings who have dabbled into politics have lost some of not all of their respect and have been abused by people and politicians. In this country we have big kings such as :
1. The Oba of Benin
2. The Sultan of Sokoto
3. The Ooni of Ife
4. The Alaafin of Oyo
5. The Emir of Kano
6. The Oba of Lagos
7. The Dein of Agbo
8. The Soun of Ogbomosho
9. The Olubadan of Ibadan
10. The Obi of Onitsha

These are respected kings who are institutions themselves. The emir of Kano got himself involved in politics and you can see the result today. The sultan does not leave his palace for frivolous visitations. The previous Oonis, Aderemi and Sijuade carried themselves with honor.

The Oba of Benin is not God. But if you want to find out who he is, go to Benin or any of the sorrounding towns and say any wrong about him and you”ll find out from his people who he is. The governor goes to him just like other governors before him because he is a well respected and reverred king.

Tell the Ooni of Ife to keep away from politics for the sake of his image. Today he has a new wife, tomorrow he has a new girlfriend, next tomorrow he is in Lagos. Loss of respect bro. Other kings marry new wives without the press and they have too many beautiful women too! The Oba of Benin will NOT go to visit the governor of Osun state. Let the Ooni maintain his prestige please.
See as knowledge wear you cloth and wisdom come give you crown.

You've said it all and I remove brassiere for you.

In the end, you eventually proved to lack the intellectual competence to muster an intelligent come-back.

You are so empty and bereft of ideas.

May God have mercy on your miserably ignorant and inferior soul.

One more time, the Oba of Benin can't give endorsement because he doesn't have it. However, his God (the Ooni of Ife) obviously can.
Ofcourse, the Oba of Benin do not give endorsement after receiving brown envelop.

This is why I say critics of government should not be allowed to be in government. Many of them hardly succeed. Oshiomole may have succeeded but he lacks effective leadership skills (in choosing a successor) and I think its partly because he talks too much. How does Tinubu still hold sway in Lagos politics? How often do you hear Tinubu joining issues with his boys or opponents? Anenih, for years was a factor in Edo politics, and no one could become governor without his blessing (else they rig you out like they did Oshiomole in 2007). Adedibu was an illiterate who was a power broker in Oyo State (he also did not talk much; even when he spoke he spoke nonsense, yet people listened to him). Oloye too in Kwara State. And so on. One thing common with these kingmakers is that they bit more than they spoke. Oshiomole needs to learn to talk less and bite more. He made Obaseki, he should be able to break him. As governor, he should have built sufficient bridges by empowering people who have bases in the grassroots. These people would ensure Obaseki does not return either in the APC primaries or in the main elections.

As for Obaseki, being an intelligent man does not translate to being an effective politician. Ask Fashola how to placate leaders. You need to build bridges else you'd mess yourself up like Ambode did. Never, ever, fight your godfather, except you are convinced he is indispensible. If you make the mistake of re-ploclaiming the house of assembly, they'd impeach you for sure.
Oshiomole has always been the garrulous one, I wouldn't blame him though looking at where he is coming from (unionist),you need to be an orator with small gragra to be able to galvanised and mobilise workers union effectively.
He brought the same mentality into real politics which would have favoured him if he did not delve into godfatherism in a state like Edo.
No godfather can last more than 8yrs in Edo state that's if you are not toppled after 4yrs,they are too stubborn individually and too many political stakeholders, to be loyal to one person for too long.
