Morally, he should not sell off those property.
Even the Bible has this to say concerning such attitude:

Legally, you father has committed no offence.
Morally, he may be seen as not been fair to his family.

Another area to look into is how you, the children are comporting yourselves.
Is you father encourage by what he is seeing among you. If he is not encouraged, he may be tempted to enjoy his wealth while alive instead of leaving them in the hands of "worthless" children.

I have seen a man that had many goats and his kids are just something else. The man kept killing, eating and selling off those goats before he died. He was not impressed by the lifestyles of his children. He chose to enjoy his wealth while alive.

Most of you who are sharing your stories here have your loopholes. I have taught in many schools with spoilt children but with no accusation. I have anchored after-school couchings with female children, lived in homes with spoilt children and attend churches with corrupt women and children still no false accusations. You see one thing about life is knowing your boundaries and what an action can result into. Excessive play with toddlers, giving too much gifts or showing too much kindness to opposite sex or under privileged or aged or allowing over familiarities causes of these troubles you guys find yourselves in. Read people and try to know what the relationship between you people is likely to result and avoid them on time. I aborted many attempts to soil my reputation by evil people.

My advice is, if you have some money go and meet him and buy some plot and also ask him to give you some plot as is son, with these method you can acquire the land at a cheaper rate, if not that man no go stop oooo until he sell everything finish at the end of the day he will blame it on the Devil and still ask for forgiveness from you...and you have no choice than to forgive him.

but if I approached him to buy, he might look it as disrespect because we've quarreled about this several times. and if I went to him to give me I want to build now, when am not financially ready yet, it might lead another thing. I know he might agree but my other siblings from his other wives may kick against it asking for theirs.

A friend of mine he's Still enjoying wealth his grand Father left for his father and his father to him, all he did was just to renovate them and dude is packing more than a millionaire yearly from those estate. why would mine be different.
