WARNING AGAINST CARNAL RESPONSES TO LOVE

TEXT: 1 JOHN 4:17-21

Key verse: 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

A believer can be friendly with another believer of opposite sex due to the love of God. Not for boyfriend, girlfriend, concubine or for sexual interest but the love of Christ. Let brotherly love continue.
Believers are warned against carnal responses to love, because there are people when you love them, their thoughts will move to the body. Give them a smile, the flesh comes up.
When we show you true Christian love, the laughter we have because of Christ, we have no other motive, but the flesh now comes up and is becoming prominent. You are putting another interest inside because of carnal responses to love.
It is wrong for a brother to ordinarily show love to a sister in Christ and the sister diverts the love to mean another thing, thinking that it is for immorality.
Where a sister is innocently playful with a brother because of the kindness of Christ and the brother is thinking another thing then it is not proper.
That is why marriage should not be abused. You may not be married. Brothers and sisters you may not be married but love one another in Christ, you don't always put marriage on your forehead like a stamp.
Marriage should not be the motive leading you in everything. In Christian love, our mind should not always be on marriage. If anyone laughs with you, is he going to marry me? A Christian sister by chance, she plays or jokes, is she the will of God for me?
It is a warning against carnal responses to love. As you relate and love one another, be warned that your thoughts should not run with your emotions. Be careful with the words that come out of your mouth. Manifest love in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
You are loved as a living soul, not just your body is loved. You are loved because you belong to Christ as a child of God. Do not deviate from pure to impure love. Let not your motive in love be deviated from the Christian spirit to another thing and do not push your way to sisters for another thing.

TOPOC: GOD DEMANDS CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART

TEXT: Psalm 24: 1-6

Key verse: Psalm 24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

God demands for clean hands and a pure heart from all men. He calls all sinners everywhere to repentance and righteousness. He wants to save man from bondage and captivity of sin and Satan.
There are ungodly things you do, willingly or unwillingly; evil places you go to and evil activities you engage in that will damn your soul eternally.
Come to Me for pardon and transformation, then I will break the power of those things in your life and set you free indeed. You will not find yourself doing them anymore. That is what He tells the sinner.
Surrender your life to Me and give me your heart, and I will break the power of sin in your heart. You will not find yourself committing fornication, adultery, drunkenness, lying and other sins again.
You will not do that anymore because, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are passed away. Behold all things are become new. It is the heart that controls all actions. What you do and what you should not do.
What you should take and what you should not take. Whether you should love God or not love Him is from the heart. God is giving attention to your heart to make that heart clean indeed. If that happens, the righteousness and holiness he is looking for from you will be possible.
We are in the time that God wants to make people holy and filled with the love for righteousness, having and put iniquity to death in their lives. Make this a prayer point and ask the Lord to do this in your life.
When God brought forth the children of Israel from Egypt, they crossed two great waters, the Red sea and the Jordan River. By scripture we have understood that going to the Promised Land requires salvation and sanctification.
May the Lord make this a reality for all His children and cause them to understand the explanation and pour down hunger and thirst for righteousness upon their lives in Jesus name.

Immorality in a church hinders sinners from repenting and being converted. They justify themselves now and say we are all the same. Sometimes, even these sins that are committed by so called believers are worse than the ones than sinners commit.
So sinners become “righteous”. They are the ones coming to comfort you. Oh! You committed immorality. You this flesh! It is God that will help us. You form union with sinners and they are now encouraging you in the union.
Instead of being convicted, they come to sympathize with you. Oh! We should cry. Let our hearts melt. Why are our brothers disappointing God? Why are our sisters just disappointing Jesus? Let it melt our hearts.
There is possibility of contracting gonorrhea, syphilis, venereal diseases, AIDS. You don't even think that. You are not even considering that. If you die, where will you go to? You are going to destroy yourself. Some become childless in life between of venereal diseases.
Others cannot even function well in marriage because of venereal diseases. What about AIDS? Poor woman, she didn't know immorality, it's your husband that went and brought it from the roadside and come and gave you and we see you. Eh, Sister, how did it happen that you have AIDS? What happened?
“Oh! I have been talking to my husband. It came from him.” Husband, you have been in the Church. What happened? “It was when I travelled” Oh, why would you do like that? See the damage you have done to an innocent person! You are shortening the life of that man or woman.
Immorality weakens other believers who are facing temptation. When you fall, the devil uses it as an instrument against them and saying “Even Brother so and so fell. Even Sister so and so fell. Even the other one fell, so what is your problem? Are you the only one?” He now gives excuses to weak Christians.

Here is an excerpt from the book 'Escaping Hell Fire and Entering Heaven Made Simple' by Pastor Paul Rika:
'Jesus said “My son, come.” We swiftly appeared at the gate. As He stretched out His right hand, I saw the narrow way leading to heaven and He said, “This way can accommodate only you in Christ and Christ in you.
If you carry anything else, this way cannot accommodate you. This is the way of truth, Righteousness and Holiness. The other way is the way of multitudes. This is the only way to heaven. It is a narrow way and only few find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
At that gate, we stood for a long time before I saw a saint on earth coming along that way to heaven. It took another long time before I saw another person coming along that way to heaven.
When the saint from the earth entered into heaven I heard a shout of acclamation and joy! A soul had entered into heaven! There are normally shouts of joy when a soul enters into heaven.
Speaking more of this narrow way, Jesus continued. “This narrow way is the way of truth, righteousness and holiness. If any man desires to enter into heaven I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. Go and tell man I still love him.'
As we can see in today's account, there is a holy standard for making it to heaven. Pray not to fall short of God's righteousness in your daily walk with Christ. Many are ignorant of this truth. Tell it to sinners, backsliders, believers, ministers and churches.

CHRISTMAS AND X-MAS ARE NOT THE SAME

What is Christmas? It means...
"For she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people (the masses) from their sins" (Mathew 1:21).
"And suddenly there was with the angels a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God saying, glory to God in the highest (for his Son's sake), and on earth peace (with God, reconciliation) and good will toward men (love and mercy).
The famous late holiness evangelist in the 18th century Charles Wesley, wrote a hymn on Christmas "hark the herald angels sing...glory to the new born King". If celebration of Christmas is sin or wrong, this holy man would have not written this spirit inspiring hymn. God would have forbad him, his elder brother John would have rebuke him!
Christmas is a joined words: Christ and the Masses. It means Christ's salvation to the Masses. The masses are sinners he came to save from sin. Jesus said "he came to call sinners to REPENTANCE. In fact, Christmas means evangelism. So every holiness believers must embark on aggressive evangelism during that day. It is a day to preach the truth, not dancing and parties.
Believers carry your Bible and preach, preach in the village, preach in the cities, preach everywhere. Tell people about the new born Jesus, tell them that Jesus must be born in them so that they may escape the burning hell and enter heaven.
Although 25th December was not the day of his birth, but it is never a sin if a Christian wish themselves "Merry Christmas" in that day, neither is it worldliness to travel home to see your beloved ones that day. What we prohibited is the spirit of worldliness, gluttony, drunkenness, revellings, banqueting, immoralities, image of father X-mas, going to Christmas worldly parties, where Jesus will be mocked publicly.
The earthly father of Christ is God, not the Santa Claus, not the man. He is the father of Xmas.
As Africans have masquerades, so do the West, their own is Father Xmas (Santa Claus). Their own masquerades only comes out during Xmas celebration. The Bible knows nothing like that!
X-MAS is wrong! It is evil itself. The world hates Christ, that's why they removed him and replace it with letter X meaning "we don't want him, away with him!" So Christians doesn't celebrate X-MAS. It is Christmas not X-MAS. X-MAS is where they do their parties, dance and fornicate, even kill.
Reject X-MAS, but accept CHRISTMAS.

EMULATE GOD'S PURE LOVE FOR MAN

TEXT: ROMANS 5: 1-8

Key verse: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God's pure love is the reason for the season. The greatest love you can show at this festive season is to embrace and emulate God's pure love in salving man from sin, Satan and sicknesses. Pure love is based on the word of God. Love people and seek their welfare because God says so, not for selfish reasons.
Pure love comes with feelings of sympathy as you put yourself in that person's situation and feel it. If someone has not eaten for days will you not feel it? Suppose it was you. Suppose someone is down with sickness. You feel for him knowing what it feels like. Again, in cases of bereavement, you empathize with the bereaved and offer assistance to them.
Again, love moves with acts of charity and giving. Love will give. That's why love entertains and empathizes. Love entertains, gives, because you feel you sympathize you want to help, you want to do your part. You want to contribute. That's what love will do.
Again, love has the emotions of joy. You love a person you feel joyful with whatever is going on around him, you feel joyful of what he says. The word of that person makes you feel happy. You feel happy to hear their utterances because of love, you hear him to relate with him.
Again, love goes with kind words, kind actions, gentleness and meekness. That is what love does. Love makes you gentle in the presence of your lover and that makes your lover feel happy. The one that is loved feels happy. The one that you love feels happy. So, that is how love is.
You are kind in words, you speak softly. You speak for the benefit of that person. That's because love is there. Again, love moves with friendliness. Love is friendly because you love, you draw closer. The Bible says that he that has friends must show himself friendly.

TOPIC: THE ETERNAL DOOM OF A SECRET SINNER

TEXT: EZEKIEL 18:26-32

Key verse: “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.” (Ezekiel 18:30).


Today we shall examine the eternal state of a once committed brother who died in secret sin as shown by Divine revelation to a brother:
'What I saw with my two eyes in hell broke my heart and I wept. I cannot describe hell as a mortal man. If anyone gets there, he will tell it better. In hell I heard the groaning of the damned. This was the second time I went to hell.
I heard people crying and confessing the sins they refused to confess here on earth. Many pastors are in hell. Many ministers of the gospel are in hell. Atheists and various categories of people are in hell. No tongue can tell the horror and sufferings of hell.’
Jesus said, “I created them and loved them with everlasting love. But they hated me; that is why I am destroying them with my everlasting destruction. Go and tell man, if any desires to come to heaven, I Jesus, will give him every grace he needs to come to heaven. But if any desires to go to hell, Satan will immediately give him all the support he needs to be there.”
'I saw a brother in hell. He was a member of our Church. This brother was very committed and zealous, but alas, he died with hidden and un-confessed sin and found himself in hell.
When I saw him I did not believe he was the one. I tapped Jesus and asked, “My Lord, is this the brother from so and so church?” He answered, “Yes.” The brother began to speak, “I committed fornication and covered it and death came and carried me away.”
If a brother of such zeal and commitment could still go to hell, we must fear God and walk with care every day.' Secret sins take one to hell. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

Thought for the day: The greatest torment of a backslider in hell is that he lost the
opportunity to be in heaven.

TOPIC: GOD IS CHANGING UNSERIOUS WORKERS AND LEADERS

TEXT: LUKE 16: 1-4

Key verse: Psalm 109:8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

Completion of revelation to Brother Ezi Monday:
He asked me to look at the Coordinators seat. Some of the Coordinators are not serious at all. Some were outside making phone calls or discussing. Some left their Bibles or jotters on their seats and some carried their Bibles and their seats were empty. Only few of them were seated. Also many of the workers and members were outside and were not serious.
The Lord showed me the few newcomers that were invited, seated in the hall. They were sinners, harlots, herbalists, Muslims, fraudsters, thieves, armed robbers and wicked people that came newly to HOREMOW and became converted.
The Lord Jesus pointed to them and said, “Do you see those people? I will use them to replace the unserious Coordinators and workers.” He showed me a group of ushers, different from the normal ushers.
They were neither laughing nor smiling but stern looking. These special ushers started replacing the unserious Coordinators with these converts.
They directed them to the seats of the Coordinators and as they sat down they were automatically transformed. God said, “I will replace you since you have refused to repent and be serious with My work. Do you think I am joking with My work?”
Jesus was crying and saying, “There is no time again. I am not joking. Do you think it is Pastor Paul Rika in charge of HOREMOW? I am in control of HOREMOW. Now, where Pastor Rika sat quietly in spirit form, he was very sorrowful, but there was nothing he could do.
He was crying. Jesus too was crying, “Ah! See My people. They are leaving their seats for other people.” Pastor Rika was crying, “They started with me. See them now.” The special ushers also entered the congregation and were changing people.

Thought for the day: The unserious ushers, prayer warriors, choristers, women leaders,
chapter and unit leaders are being replaced.

TEXT: GENESIS 49: 2-4
Key verse: 1 Corinthians 7:1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
The believer that commits immorality loses the power and privilege of ministry. I was told of a young minister that said, “I was to commit immorality with a member of my church, but I said, if did it now the matter will come up and the church members will hear it and if church members hear, I have no ministry again”.
With that he stopped. Okay, may be, it may not be because of Jesus but the ministry. Thank God, he respected his ministry. Immorality will destroy your ministry. The ministry will cease. People will suffer. You will lack the boldness even if your people have not known yet. Satan knows. When you stand to do anything, it will be a struggle with Satan.
It hurts your loyal wife or faithful husband. It hurts. It is painful and difficult. That's why the Bible says, “Jealousy is the rage of a man.” Every man is jealous over his wife. God has given that woman to be his portion. Why are you defiling his wife?
Why are you doing that great wickedness? Why are you thinking such thought over somebody else's wife? Why do you tamper with another woman's husband? Do you know it will hurt the woman? Don't you know it will make the woman restless?
It can bring many other atrocities to the family. Do you consider all these things? Is there any difference, therefore between you and Satan who doesn't bother in this world, only what he can spoil? Are you not a direct instrument of Satan?
It makes the person to lose credibility with the leadership of the church. How do we depend upon you? How do we trust and commit work to your hand? How are we going to trust that your presence in the choir will be okay? You can make leadership to lose credibility in you.
It brings shame on Christianity as a whole, when a prominent leader falls into immorality. All church members and Christians everywhere will go and hide their faces. How can it be said that a pastor committed immorality? It is an shame to the church and to Christianity.

What I could say about Benson Idahosa, a man I respected so much, was that he started very well but lost focus at the end, as was illustrated by a parable of Jesus, where the cares and riches of this world choke the Word of God in someone's heart, and impedes on the person ability to bear fruits of It to perfection.

THE MISTAKE OF BISHOP BENSON IDAHOSAH


(Anointing is not Holiness).
That man has anointings, he could preach and teach, he could pray! Pray for hours and fast for weeks, that man could pray and something began to happen, he stopped the gathering of the universal meeting of witches and wizards in his State City, Benin. He is a spiritual violent man and he did exploits in his days.
He fathers and mentors over many denominational churches and even presently some of these mega pastors are copying his style in ministry to run theirs. He is a father, a mentor to many bishops and pastors, he is a popular Bishop, know in the world for his great anointings.
He performed miracles and blind eyes were opened! He cast out devils and he even testify how he raised up a dead child from death, what his pastor could not do, he did!
But! This man lack something! He lacked Holiness. With all these great anointings and powers he could not keep and maintain the old path. He started in fire to end up with pride and Bishop pomposity. And by these weaknesses, he accepted those he was mentoring badly.
He went to Europe and America and learnt their corrupt way of worship and came back with false spirit. He started wearing Bishop rings, necklaces and crown in the church, he was bewitched by Benny Hinn. He started ministering in the church where women would not cover their heads and he will say nothing. He would preach miracles and declare prophecies while the church was dying.
All these mega pastors, copied from him! They learnt corruption, ministerial corruptions from him. How women would be in the church without head ties and prophesies would still be released for them! This is Pentecostal madness or rascalism.
They copied church dance from him! All these anointed oil ministry, handkerchiefs, anointed soap, anointed cutlass and all originated from him.
The churches that are following his style includes *The Redeemed Christian Church*, *Winners Chapel Church*, *Omega Fire Ministry*, *Dunamis*, *Christ Embassy Church*, *Anglican Church* and some of these Pentecostal Churches copies and learns from him.
Learn what? How women would be in the church with uncovered head, Bishop would cover heads in the church, wear jewelries, dance in the church, speak in tongues yet committing sins. That's why people wants to be like him, not because of holiness, but because of his anointings! Where is he now? Without Holiness.. .(Hebrews 12:14).
Anointing is not Holiness.

CHRISTMAS AND X-MAS ARE NOT THE SAME


What is Christmas? It means...
"For she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Jesus, for he shall save his people (the masses) from their sins" (Mathew 1:21).
"And suddenly there was with the angels a multitude of the heavenly hosts praising God saying, glory to God in the highest (for his Son's sake), and on earth peace (with God, reconciliation) and good will toward men (love and mercy).
The famous late holiness evangelist in the 18th century Charles Wesley, wrote a hymn on Christmas "hark the herald angels sing...glory to the new born King". If celebration of Christmas is sin or wrong, this holy man would have not written this spirit inspiring hymn. God would have forbad him, his elder brother John would have rebuke him!
Christmas is a joined words: Christ and the Masses. It means Christ's salvation to the Masses. The masses are sinners he came to save from sin. Jesus said "he came to call sinners to REPENTANCE. In fact, Christmas means evangelism. So every holiness believers must embark on aggressive evangelism during that day. It is a day to preach the truth, not dancing and parties.
Believers carry your Bible and preach, preach in the village, preach in the cities, preach everywhere. Tell people about the new born Jesus, tell them that Jesus must be born in them so that they may escape the burning hell and enter heaven.
Although 25th December was not the day of his birth, but it is never a sin if a Christian wish themselves "Merry Christmas" in that day, neither is it worldliness to travel home to see your beloved ones that day. What we prohibited is the spirit of worldliness, gluttony, drunkenness, revellings, banqueting, immoralities, image of father X-mas, going to Christmas worldly parties, where Jesus will be mocked publicly.
The earthly father of Christ is God, not the Santa Claus, not the man. He is the father of Xmas.
As Africans have masquerades, so do the West, their own is Father Xmas (Santa Claus). Their own masquerades only comes out during Xmas celebration. The Bible knows nothing like that!
X-MAS is wrong! It is evil itself. The world hates Christ, that's why they removed him and replace it with letter X meaning "we don't want him, away with him!" So Christians doesn't celebrate X-MAS. It is Christmas not X-MAS. X-MAS is where they do their parties, dance and fornicate, even kill.
Reject X-MAS, but accept CHRISTMAS.

TOPIC: BE AT PEACE WITH ALL MEN

TEXT: MATTHEW 5:21-26

Key verse: “And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.”(1 Samuel 24:5).


In our reading text, the Lord reveals the mind of God and the verdict of heaven on anger in our relationship. These religious leaders had not considered the evil and danger of anger.
Neither did they think of other sins that anger produces such as hatred, malice, revenge, strife, contention, injustice, violence, slander, backbiting, provocation, murmuring, division, conspiracy, mischief, cruelty, oppression, obstinacy, covenant breaking, strained relationship, self-destruction and even murder.
Anger is an evil root that produces evil fruit in one's life. Anger affects our relationship with our neighbours negatively, such that a relative or a neighbour may justly have an aught against us.
Reconciliation, the mending of our relationship and restoration of normal fellowship becomes necessary before God can accept our gift, service or worship. Our Lord who knows the requirements of God's law declared this truth. Strained relationship with man hinders intimate relationship with God.
The Pharisees were only committed to external acts of worship; they were not concerned about the state of their hearts. Some do not consider their attitude towards others as essential in ministry and worship of God. While their hearts burned with anger and hatred they continued with their external acts of worship.
Their ministry and worship are unacceptable. They have not learnt that God is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. If anyone worships God with zeal and great commitment, yet with anger, hatred and malice in the heart, our Lord has declared his worship to be worthless and his religion vain.
It is more desirable to have the heart right with God and man than to perform mere outward acts of worship. If, therefore, a man brings his gift to the altar, and remembers that anyone has anything against him, he is to leave his offering and go and be reconciled. Do you habour animosity against anyone? Reconcile with such a one.

DRESS HOLY EVERYDAY
(For women)


Some holiness professing women are unsteady and variable in their holiness dressing. They are unsteady, they wear long skirts today to fellowship; next sunday, they will wear the ones that stops at their knees,the next upper sunday they will wear the ones that reach at their laps. This is hypocrisy, fakely and corrupt.
Some would wear long skirts in the church, but short skirts in their houses, even going to public places like going to market or work place with them. They have Church clothes and normal clothes. On Sunday they would wear the church clothes to church and would answer holy sister. But back from church, she would change to an harlot, mother of harlotry.
These are my Church clothes and those ones there are my normal clothes I wear to school, work place and market. Long skirt in the church, short skirt outside the Church! Who are you deceiving? You're deceiving your very self!
Let your holiness dressing be steady. Except in your bedroom or within your house when no body is not around (excluding your spouse), including your children. Your children must not see your unclothedness, your laps must be covered that they don't lust after you and seek after strange women to practicalise the lusts. God will throw you in hell.
Woman, don't wear only wrapper (ogodo) and go out to buy something on the street, it is pollution. Even though the wrapper covers your breast, yet did it cover your back? You're polluted!
Make sure you first dress holy, with long skirt and good polo, if you want to add wrapper, fine, but don't dress on that alone.
You mothers that live in public yards becareful! You must not wear towel only to public bathroom. It is inglorious. God abhors it, it is seductive to youths living with you! Don't be careless!
Women having matured servants must dress holy, both in their house. It is corrupt to ease and expose yourself before your matured servants. It is corruption. Unless inside your bedroom with your husband alone!
Let your dressing be steady both in the church and outside the church! Don't pray naked, cover yourself and then pray, fear God! Dress holy everyday.
Students your school uniform must be holy, not with short skirts or trousers. Parents go to your children's school proprietress and defend the faith! Tell her that your female children must not wear knicker as sports wears or lesson wears. If they refuse remove them from that school. Stand for righteousness, don't fear man
