YangiB:Any higher pay rate? Or is it capped at $0.15? I took the exam, too, not too far back, yesterday, I think. Fingers crossed it works out well for me. ![]() |
kamikaz1:It looks to be more because the current exchange rate gave me less while I got more money. I did a bit of calculation and I think it's around N368. Someone else can try to confirm this. I might be wrong. |
Glistinin:So, you still don't believe. Nawa o! ![]()
|
nwafresh:Yes o! It's back. Thank God o! |
Richardlove:Bro, how far? Hope it went well? I'm trying to contact him, too. On a side note, I think we should compile a list of exchangers that we have used in the past to ensure there's semblance of trust here among ourselves especially new people that need such services. More names can be added as time goes on. Even a list of five legit exchangers is a start. At least, the exchanger must have done transaction with at least two people here. This is to avoid scammers that parade themselves in the guise of quote, unquote, "exchangers". |
For clarity sake and to prevent scammers that call themselves exchangers, wouldn't it be advisable to have a reputable exchanger(s), list would be great, we can all trust and use? We all know the transcription job no be beans so e go pain well if someone gets scammed. This is temporary until there's an alternative way to withdraw. Where are my ogas in the house? Your thought guys? |
EMMAACHILE:Yeah, I know of people running Shopify Payments seamlessly from Nigeria using the normal gateway. I didn't know if you had an idea. |
EMMAACHILE:Can you shed more light? I'm aware that you can use authorized third party gateways, but I think that would lead to low sale conversion as customers won't immediately see where to input credit card directly. I may be wrong, though. And also for the PayPayl issue, that's a general issue especially when you are doing crazy numbers a day. |
EMMAACHILE:Please, anyone with a solution to this in 2020? It seems that Stripe which is now Shopify Payments when you use an LLC as business type, it requires you to input SSN under personal details. Some videos I have watched, people just put a default number there and proceed. But it seems it doesn't verify completely but money seems to be deposited. Anyone running Shopify in Nigeria? |
BuzzRay:You're welcome. More 5s to everyone. ![]() |
BuzzRay:The issue is not your sentence being correct. Simply, it's as a result of punctuation. Try reading more on use of pauses, periods, semicolons, colons. The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation is a great place to start. More resources can be found online too. Just try reading on the topics I mentioned earlier on. There is quiz too. So, I think that helps. ![]() |
Ogaemmy:It's as a result of Labour day holiday. There's holidays now so nobody to take calls. |
Ogaemmy:Whenever you encounter the word "a" in a statement where money is mentioned, ALWAYS know the currency denomination should be in words. Eg. I'll give the accountant a grand next week. If the word "a" is not used then transcribe using the currency format. Eg. I'll give the accountant one grand next week is TRANSCRIBED I'll give the accountant $1000 next week. Best regards. ![]() |
Greetings to everyone. There is a big mistake I made on a previous post concerning phone number format. I was chatting with one of the SCC and she said that phone number format would be looked into as it is not properly flagged. The reason why I'm raising this is simple. I wanted to correct a mistake on my part on how to write phone number provided in previous pages. Please disregard it. Information provided on the thread should be accurate. If you were not flagged for not using what was provided by FAQ, you will be very soon. Use the FAQ phone format ALWAYS unless specified otherwise by the glossary for CLH Group(Aus). |
houzing:It means you still got 2 in your resubmitted transcript. Note: Both transcript will have the same CID. |

Ogaemmy:The bosses of the house have explained it. I'll explain again just for clarity. ![]() |
I want to give advice once more given what I read in the previous page about working at night. Observe this rules when proofreading. (Day/Night) 1.) Read out loud: This will prevent mental predictions of words and mental mapping of where words ought to be. This is backed up by recent studies that has shown that reading from a screen tires the brain faster hence the constant skipping of words. 2.) Slow read: When you read fast, your brain will skip through mistakes and try to make sense of what is said on the page. Remember they're looking for accurate transcripts that is clean and understandable when read. 3.) Never write and proofread at the same time. You'll waste your time and cause your brain to enter a "rabbit hole"---state where you start thinking about what's being said in the audio. 4.) When you're tired, rest. ![]() |
Biritiko:I encountered this once. Learnt from it and all my works are constant 5s. The issue is from the wrong use of pauses and period. When a misuse is done it causes wrong understanding of the statement hence the segmentation issue. Solution: Learn the various instances when a comma should be used. Ex: Relative adjective clauses, dependent clauses etc. When you break the statement well, you'll get the punctuation correct. Best regards. ![]() |
