I've asked this question before and i didn't get any reply.....so am asking again please is there anyone in Kaiserslautern who can confirm whether its a good place to study or any general info...................i'd be very much obliged to get a positive response

It's a lovely place to study, the school is good and especially if your course is in English. The city is cool with viel Americans, so English is a common language here aber if you're not really into IT or programming getting a job within Kaiserslautern may be a big ordeal, cause most of the companies need a good knowledge of German, but military base Ramstein is a stone throw away, you can get English $ paid jobs there. Jobs within the school are for only those that can speak German. But you can still get at departments. The University expects you to Pass a German A1 strength course within your 1st year.

Again, TUKL is HIGHLY RATED especially for Computer Science; course workload can be much but it's all good; it will be nice to see a new Nigerian btw, they ain't many here. So far only 6 Nigerians are in the entire institution.

Also, I just read from your previous post, try to Bump your GP up a bit more; big preference is giving; i.e greater chances if you can apply with about 70% upward.

As long as they can get the sponsorship letter, proof of funding is established, however, good knowledge of your school, its state, then your sponsor, how you're related, where they live, work, etc (Already its indicated on the letter) but they are going to ask and try to trace a good relationship link btw u both, a good reason for why u're going for MSc, also take note of questions related to timeline from your graduation till now, #GAPS. Answer well, be sincere. They're humans. MOST OF ALL, PRAY before going!

i have just question as a computer scientist not very good in programming and advice on courses i can take for my msc....i an considering information technology but not sure if a strong programming knowledge is needed as i am only good with php


by PHP, I am supposing you're conversant with the full LAMP / WAMP stack. It means you can still program, you may already have good algorithm knowledge, you can go for information systems or software engineering (note: you might most probably meet up with a Compiler Construction related course; if you fear that confirm from your institution's handbook). Its masters tho, they believe you can program already plus you'll meet many foreigners too that cannot program. YOU HAVE time to catch up. Though, if you plan to work, while schooling in a highly competitive town or in a highly competitive firm, "YOU MIGHT NEED TO STANDOUT", practice a bit more if you feel you're not there. You don't have to be as good as Taylor Otwell or Zuckerberg before you can be called a programmer.

Read the module handbook again, go for what pleases you or what aligns more with your dream.

No blame them o, Germans are machines, they drill us like them. The stuff here is deep, esp for us in University of Technologies. Its not like the other Western World edu at all, they literally own your time here. There is superb comfort; 100% comfortable classrooms and amenities, but take a moment or two lapse and you're far behind in course work. Trust me, even I typing self, my table and taskbar is filled with books and PDFs, light dey 24-7 but can't even play one PES match without calculating how much minutes that will cost me; talkless of Master League.

There's always an Ubung 'round the corner. cheesy

Please can we let all this slide. You guys are derailing this thread. The guy said he is here to help. Please allow him afterall those we thought would come back here after they got to Deutschland are no where to be found.

just saying, I think you guys kinda over did it, it is not cool picking on someone, especially in platforms such has this. It causes alienation; they mostly end up opting out of the thread and find it hard to join any other thread for some time. It is a mini form of cyber bullying.

If it won't be too much to say, however true, false or suspicious the premise of his posts may be; he deserves some apologies #JustSaying

There's the probability he really might be willing to help, or his actions her laced with good intentions.

it is up to everyone to decide if his claims are legit or not, but there is absolutely no need to use condescending words; especially having knowing he is not a Nigerian, French is their default language and it is a public thread. (Many genius mad professors can't speak or write good English, inductive generalisation doesn't apply here and there is absolutely no correlation btw language prowess and mental prowess).

Make una apologise, some of u peeps over did it.

Good day people.At about 9:02am today the 26th day of October....I got the message to come to the embassy with my 3months travel insurance.It took approximately 18 days.May God be praised.Good luck to all visa hopefuls.Just have an unflinching faith in God.He never fails.....God bless everyone here who contributed to this success in one way or d other. @eke40seven.
