PoliticsVIDEO: Jonathan And Evil PDP Rigging Machine Will Fail In 2015- Femi Fani Kayode by boygeorge(op): 3:02pm On Feb 17, 2015
Pls lets all watch this video and be the judge. It beats my imagination that the much acclaimed FFK made such statements against Jonathan and the PDP. In this video, he even dubbed himself as an excellent student of history, well, i guess he lied or simply does not understand the meaning of 'been a student of history", if he did he would not want to be found in the present position he is. Watch and share if you wish.

PoliticsNigeria’s Richest Oil Blocks Owners Exposed: Names & Detail by boygeorge(op): 1:11pm On Feb 02, 2015
Nigeria’s Richest Oil Blocks Owners Exposed: Names & Details

The oil block business is so lucrative that Danjuma’s Sapetro divested of its investment in Akpo condensate for $1billion dollars. The business is second to none in Nigeria. That is why any attempt to investigate the activities in this sector will always be futile. The money is so much that they give bribes in millions of dollars. A birthday gift or child naming gift from an oil block owner to a government official could be as paltry as $2million dollars, and if the official’s father died, the condolence gift could reach mere $3 million dollars.

When they want to bribe legislators, it is in millions of dollars and any ongoing investigation ends within weeks. They are so confident that with excess money they can buy up Nigeria and they are succeeding OML 110 with high yield OBE oil fields was given Cavendish Petroleum owned by Alhaji Mai Daribe, the Borno Patriarch in 1996 by Sanni Abacha. OBE oil field has estimated over 500 million barrels of oil. In layman’s language and using average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel, translates to $50 billion dollars worth of oil reserve. When you remove the taxes, royalties and sundry duties worth about 60% of the reserve payable over time you get about $20billion dollars worth of oil in the hands of a family.

OPL 246 was awarded to SAPETRO, a company owned by General Theophilus Danjuma, by Sanni Abacha in 1998. Akpo condensate exports about 300,000 barrels of crude daily.
NOML 112 and OML 117 were awarded to AMNI International Petroleum Development Company owned by Colonel Sanni Bello in 1999. Sanni Bello is an inlaw to Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State of Nigeria.
OML 115, OLDWOK Field and EBOK field was awarded to Alhaji Mohammed Indimi from Niger State. Indimi is an inlaw to former Military President Ibrahim Babangida.

OML 215 is operated by Nor East Petroleum Limited owned by Alhaji Saleh Mohammed Gambo.

OML 108 is operated by Express Petroleum Company Limited is owned by Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

OML II3 allocated to Yinka Folawiyo Pet Ltd is owned by Alhaji W.I. folawiyo
ASUOKPU/ UMUTU marginal oil fields is operated by Seplat Petroleum. Seplat is owned by Prince Nasiru Ado Bayero, cousin to the Central Bank Governor Lamido Sanusi. This oil field has the capacity of 300,000 barrels of oil daily. This translates to $30million dollars daily at average benchmark of $100 dollars per barrel. Deducting all sundry taxes, royalties etc , this field can yield $12billion dollars daily for the owners .
Intel owned by Atiku, Yarádua and Ado Bayero has substantial stakes in Nigeria’s oil exploration industry both in Nigeria and Principe and Sao Tome.

AMNI owns two oil blocks OML 112 and OML 117 which it runs Afren plc and Vitol has substantial stakes in oil blocks. Afren plc is operating EBOK oil fields in OML 67. Vitol lifts 300,000 barrels of Nigerian oil daily. Rilwanu Lukman, former OPEC Chairman has stakes in all these named three companies.

OPL 245 was awarded to Malabu Oil& Gas Company by Sanni Abacha. Dan Etete, Abacha’s oil minister owns Malabu Oil. In 2000, Vice President Atiku Abubakar convinced Obasanjo to revoke OPL 245 given to Malabu Oil. Etete had earlier rejected Atiku’s demand for substantial stakes in the high yield OPL 245 and it attracted the venom of Ota Majesty who revoked the licence. However, in 2006, Obasanjo had mercy on Dan Etete and gave him back his oil block worth over $20 billion dollars.

OPL 289 and OPL 233 was awarded during Obasanjo era to Peter Odili fronts, Cleanwater Consortium, consisting of Clenwater Refinery and RivGas Petroleum and Gas Company. Odili’s brother in law, Okey Ezenwa manages the consortium as Vice Chairman.
OPL 286 is managed by Focus Energy in partnership with BG Group, a British oil concern. Andy Uba has stakes in Focus Energy and his modus operandi is such that you can never see his name in any listings yet he controls OPL and OML through proxies

OPL 291 was awarded to Starcrest Energy Nigeria Limited, owned by Emeka Offor by Obasanjo . Immediately after the award, Starcrest sold the oil block to Addax Petroleum Development Company Limited (ADDAX) Addax paid Sir Emeka Offor a farming fee of $35million dollars and still paid the signature bonus to the government. Emeka Offor still retains stake in ADDAX operations in Nigeria.

Mike Adenuga’s Conoil is the oldest indigenous oil exploration industry in Nigeria. Conoil has six oil blocks and exports above 200,000 barrels of crude daily.
The oil block national cake sharing fiesta could take twists according to the mood of the Commander-in –Chief at the particular time. In 2006, Obasanjo revoked OPL 246 which Abacha gave to Danjuma because he refused to support the tenure elongation bid of the Ota Majesty. In 2000, Obasanjo had earlier revoked OPL 241 given to Dan Etete under the advice Atiku.

However, when the Obasanjo-Atiku face off started, the Ota Majesty made a u-turn and handed back the oil block to Etete.
During the time of Late President Yarádua , a panel headed by Olusegun Ogunjana was set up to investigate the level of transparency in the award of oil blocks. The panel recommended that 25 oil blocks awarded by the Obasanjo be revoked because the manner they were obtained failed to meet the best practices in the industry. Sadiq Mahmood, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum endorsed the report to then president with all its recommendations . As a result of the report Yarádua revoked eleven oil blocks.

In April 2011 Mike Adenuga attempted to buy Shell’s OML 30 for $1.2 billion dollars. The Minister for Petroleum and Nigeria’s most powerful woman refused the sale of the OML30 to Adenuga citing national interest. This block was later sold to Heritage Oil for $800 million dollars eleven months later.

In the name of competitive bidding, which Obasanjo introduced in 2005, Officials bring companies overnight and through processes best described as secretive and voodooist they award blocks to party faithful, fronts and phoney companies. They collect gratifications running into hundreds of millions of dollars which is paid into an offshore account and the nation loses billions of dollars of revenue to private pockets.

Politics2011: If I Can’t Improve Power In Four Years I Am Useless, Don’t Waste Your Vote by boygeorge(op): 10:20pm On Dec 27, 2014
President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Turkey, February 2011:

“Without security, there is no government. So it is not debatable, it is something we have to addressed and we are working towards that with vigour. But if I’m voted into power within the next four years, the issue of power will become a thing of the past. Four years is enough for anyone in power to make significant improvement and if I can’t improve on power within this period, it then means I cannot do anything even if I am there for the next four years.”

AgricultureRe: Please Help Me On Broilers Feed Formulation Procedure by boygeorge: 8:46am On Dec 19, 2014
divalizzy:
please i want to start a small scale poultry business, say 300 birds (layers), how much capital do i need for a start, including the coop.

pls advise me. Thank u all
For the construction of the coop, you will be needing nothing less than 200,000 naira on the average that is apart from the land space, i'd assume you already have the space. This is my own practical experience when i was starting, i started with 400 layer birds and did not lose even one.

Depending on ur location, you will need to buy wood(different sizes), bundles of zinc as well as nails, net, et al. roughly 180,000 to 200,000 naira should put ur deep litter in order.

Then you will need to get ur birds. very good hatcheries will sell day old pullets at around 150 naira. your 300 will be around 45,000naira. then you willneed toget feed to effectively last the first two months which is the most critical period cos at this period they will need to eat as much food they can get, i fed mine adlib ie day and night. you will also need to get a small size generator to power the coop in the event of nepa failure. a small size gen goes for around 12k. most feeds from top feed, stock feed and vital feed go for 2,700per bag for layer mash.

300 birds will be needing nothing less than 25bags from day old to 8wks.thats about 67,500 naira. drugs and vaccine combined for this period will not cost you more than 30,000naira.

so on the average, you are looking at around 400,000naira for start up. then you will continue to spend for feed until they start to lay, but i tell you the first stage is where u will spend most of the dough.

if u are interested in milling feed urself, i can help u out. i am an affillliate to a company in Holland that manufacture excellent poultry feed. i use their feed to feed my broilers and you will notbelieve i sold them at 5wks at more than 2kg weight. holla me on 08060661311 if u are interested. i stay in Abuja. hope this short analysis helps.

Thanks Bro. Your response was very prompt; not in any way late. However, you didn't say whether you got them from Zartech Benin or Zartech Ibadan. And in addition, are the black or brown? Thanks
i got them from Zartech in Ibadan. They are brown in colour. I was advised against the black ones cos the weather around where i stay is on the high side. i stay in Abuja and we usually have very hot and humid weather.

Bro. Hi. How are the 400 DOCs you got from Zartech doing? What is the mortality rate so far? And is there uniformity in their growth? And were they from Zartech Ibadan or Zartech Benin? Thanks
Eggcelent, sorry for this late reply, but the birds are doing quite well. they will be four weeks (one full month) on Tuesday next week, and not even one have i lost so far. There is also a visible uniformity in growth. I weighed them yesterday and on the average, each weighed about 300grams. My vet says thats a very excellent weight as they are expected to weigh at least 900grams - 1kg at btw 8 and 10 weeks.

One thing i have ensured though is that i have fed them adlib, not missing any of their vac so far. i will be giving them the last dose of lasota on Tuesday. i will post pictures of the birds as soon as i can, maybe tonight.

Happy sunday.
PoliticsBreaking: IGP In A Shouting Match With Reps Over Siege On NASS by boygeorge(op): 5:03pm On Nov 26, 2014
Members of the House of Representatives committee on police affairs were on Wednesday afternoon engaged in a heated argument with Inspector General of Police Suleiman Abba over last Thursday's security siege on the National Assembly.

The committee had summoned Abba to explain the circumstances that led some of his men to prevent Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal from gaining access into the parliament building and in the process harassed the Speaker as well as other lawmakers.

But at Wednesday’s session, Abba said some thugs tried to gain illegal access into the premises of the federal legislature.

However, the lawmakers were angry when Abba refused to recognise Tambuwal as Speaker and demanded him to revert his position. The session got heated as the lawmakers took turn to rebuff the IGP.

PoliticsKatsina Governor, shema, Caught On Video Urging Supporters To “crush”, “kill”. by boygeorge(op): 12:36pm On Nov 19, 2014
A video depicting the Katsina Governor, Ibrahim Shema, prodding his party members to physically assault and possibly “kill” opposition politicians in the state, has gone viral on the internet.

The amateur video was first posted on the internet on November 12.

It shows the governor, dressed in white agbada and brown sandals, standing on a red carpet, and addressing a crowd in what seemed like a political rally. He spoke in Hausa.

Mr. Shema likened opposition politicians to “cockroaches” before asking the crowd what to do if they found the nocturnal insect in their apartments.

The crowd chorused “Kill them!”

“Crush them!” the governor responded, agreeing with the crowd.

Similar calls have triggered violence in other countries including the East African country, Rwanda, where the majority Hutus’ description of the minority Tutsis as “cockroaches”, helped fired a 100-day murderous campaign that saw over 800,000 Tutsis killed.

Mr. Shema is a second term governor and a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

In 2011, he fought hard to secure a second term after the state’s main opposition then, the defunct Congress for Political Change, CPC, expanded rapidly and gained influence in the northwest state. CPC is now part of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.

Katsina State is also the home state of Muhammadu Buhari, a leader of the opposition APC and a contender for the APC Apresidential ticket for the 2015 election.

Katsina has a relatively minimal history of violence, although the state has been noted by election observers for a significant incidence of underage voting in previous elections.

The video which has drawn stringent backlash online ended with the governor emphatically asking his fans to reprise any attack from the opposition.

“Before now people from the opposition will humiliate us in the PDP and we will say don’t do anything about it. But now I am telling you to fight back and ‘quote me’,” the governor emphasized.

Mr. Shema could not be reached for comments on the story. His aide, Sani Malumfashi, a Special Adviser on media, said he was away and is only expected back on ‎Saturday.

Follow this link to watch the video.

A transcript of the video is posted below.

“PDP has touched the lives of every citizen of Katsina state, either as an individual or your family in general.

“If your child is sick you must take him to the hospital to receive treatment for free.

“You must use the well-built road that PDP constructed to go to your house.

“Your children have never paid a single dime for his education in this state since I became the governor in 2007 and that includes WAEC and NECO.

“We should thank Allah for this.

“If you look around, some states that I will not mention here, they keep making the headlines that PDP could not do this or that, but they should know Katsina state is PDP and we have done it.

“You should not be bothered with ‘cockroaches of politics.’

“Cockroaches are only found in the toilet even at homes.

“If you see a cockroach in your house what do you do?

Crowd responds: “You kill it!”

Gov. Shema agrees: “Crush them!

“Anyone who does anything against you we’ll retaliate, am telling you now.

“Before now people from the opposition will humiliate us in the PDP and we will say don’t do anything about it but now I am telling you to fight back and ‘quote me’”.

PoliticsBoko Haram Plans To Use Mechanics, Car Wash Centers To Plant Bombs In Cars by boygeorge(op): 8:33pm On Sep 18, 2014
Aftermath the heavy defeats inflicted on Boko Haram insurgents in recent weeks, indications have emerged that the group are recruiting auto-mechanic and car wash operators across the country with a view to using their centers as loading bays to plant IEDS’ on vehicles of unsuspecting members of the public to cause havoc.

The objective is to hit at some top government establishment and functionaries as well as military and police locations in other parts of the country outside the North East epicenter of the insurgency to divert attention from the increasingly successful onslaught on the group in recent days.

Towards this end, Intelligence sources told Vanguard that the Boko Haram group have infiltrated the ranks of many of the operators and bought them over with very mouth watering sums of money to look the other way when the explosives were being planted on the vehicles.

According to the source, the terrorists knowing that many vehicle owners hardly find time to spend with their mechanics or car wash operators, have concluded the plot to fix improvised explosive devices on such vehicles while they are with the mechanic or cash wash.

When the unsuspecting owner of the car comes to carry his or her car, he will drive off with an explosives laden car that has been programmed to explode within minutes or an hour as the case maybe and in the process; he may be consumed by the havoc the explosion will cause.

A signal confirming this development and addressed to all military formations in the country said, “Boko Haram Infiltrates Auto-Mechanic and Car Wash Centers’. It said the group was planning to use vehicles of unsuspecting members of the public, especially prominent persons and top functionaries as bomb explosive carriers”.

The targets of such dastardly plots according to the signal are official government quarters, military barrack and public centers.

The public, vehicles owners and users are therefore urged to be vigilant and watchful especially when giving and collecting their vehicles from auto-mechanic and car wash centers; the military warned.

PoliticsABU Lecturer Develops Anti-diabetes Drugs From Local Herbs by boygeorge(op): 9:39am On Aug 14, 2014
In what might be considered a breakthrough in scientific research, a lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Dr. Auwal Ibrahim, has developed anti-diabetes drugs from local herbs.
It was gathered that the research was part of the lecturer’s Ph.D thesis conducted at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.

Speaking yesterday with Daily Trust, Dr. Ibrahim of the Biochemistry Department, Faculty of Sciences, said: “Basic research on type 2 diabetes is usually hard to execute in African countries, because of some procedural issues and lack of appropriate animal models. Interestingly however, my research was focused on the development of more effective and less toxic remedies against the type 2 diabetes. More specifically, the work focused on the validation and development of anti-diabetes plant-based remedies as well as the identification of novel chemical leads from African plants”.

He added: “I used a number of molecular techniques to demonstrate the potentials of some African plants in the management of type 2 diabetes.
