D point m tryn 2 make here is dat,

Since u re Gud in story telling, why don't u learnt how 2 write film scripts,

Guy dat will fetch a lot of Money if u re Gud.

I have seen a friend sold a film script for 400k dollars, I won't mention d name of d script cos I don't hv d ryt 2.

Write films, register for script competitions on Internet if u make d top 20's in d competition I can assure Hollywood agents will contact u.

It won't be easy, but if u feel that u re gifted, then go ahead and make try.

I know what am about t say we anger some nairalanders but if u keep telling your stories online like dis,

Som1 will just steal d idea script it, copyright it and u got notn

Politics / Re: PDP Sweeps LG Polls In Ondo, APC Kicks by boyo123(m): 1:33pm On Apr 25, 2016
comos:
The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission has announced the results of the chairmanship and councillorship polls held on Saturday in the 18 local government areas of the state.

In the results announced, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party won all the chairmanship positions in the 18 local government councils of the state just as it won 202 councillorship seats in the 203 wards of the state.

The Allied Congress Party of Nigeria won only one councillorship seat.

Announcing the results of the polls on Sunday at the headquarters of the commission in Akure, the Chairman of ODIEC, Prof. Olugbenga Ige, said only 14 political parties contested the election and that the ruling party won all the chairmanship positions of the 18 local government councils.

He said, “The overall results of the polls indicate that the PDP won in all the 18 local government areas.”

Commending all stakeholders for the support given to the commission during the polls, the ODIEC chairman explained that the election was hitch-free, adding that there was no record of violence or electoral malpractice during the election.

“We promised the people of Ondo State that free and fair polls would be conducted and to the glory of God, we have been able to do our best,” Ige said.

He also announced that the winners of the polls would be issued Certificates of Return at the ODIEC headquarters on Monday (today).

Toks2008:

I am so glad that a nairalander is this insightful, observant and down to earth.

Unfortunately this is where we find ourselves. I am a freelance writer and without sounding proud.i have lost counts of bloggers virtually begging me to write for them and a guy even wrote me from Dubai to take up a writing job but guess what,i turned it down because i just prefer to write stuffs at my own time and its never about the money.

I can not also keep record of many of my threads that have been discussed by radio presenters and if you look closely at my threads as you wrote, you will see that they are always blunt and thought provoking.

Now what is the point?

Romance section is the ultimate core of nairaland traffic and if you think im wrong please go to romance section at any time of the day and see the number of viewers compared to other sections and when a romance thread hits front page please check the traffic of viewers and you willsee that it pulls more traffic and pages of comments more than other topics.

Nairaland is very educative, interactive(Strongest selling point) but not really real time informative because most of the threads on frontage are always lagging as most other blogs would have reported the same caption...in essence, only romance section holds the originality of nairaland.

MY ADVICE:

Llasticlala remains my best mod not because he puts my threads on frontpage but because i know he is very intelligent and sometimes as human, he may get too bombarded with mentions that he can sometimes ignore real frontpage material so he should just calm down to give priorities to some good stuffs. For Seun i would advice that he instructs the mod to look for top notch romance threads to grace the frontpage only in the evening from 6pm to 12am. The best way to say thank you to good nairaland writers is to expose their write ups and no matter how many threads of these writers make frontpage,it can never be too much as long as it makes sense. You are not doing any good writer a favour by putting his or her write up on frontpage.

Once again i thank the OP for making this obvious but unfortunately i can't stop writing because it is my passion and it keeps me happy and cool,if lalasticlala,mynd44,Seun or any other belive that some threads are better relegated while funny threads of nude bearing celebs are always good for fpage i guess that is their choice to make...For me i will continue to write when i feel i want to and whenever i feel i should put a stop,I STOP.

These are fantastic frontpage materials i wrote that have been ignored maybe due to too much mentions..

Matured? Don't use that word next time because you don't know the meaning. Time has passed when I was taking it gentle with some of you on Nairaland but I have decided to give each of you constituting nuisance your type of medicine to bring you back to your senses because most of you have lost it. If you are matured, I bet you will choose your words wisely and maturely but reverse was your case. If your kind of comments is part of the maturity, please don't comment again.
