i think this is a case of the individual physiology. Some dudes can live a normal life without sex for long, whereas others can, they may complain of stomach ache, groin pains, stiff muscles e.t.c. i personally have gone 6 months without sex when preparing for a competition. so i think it's all about discipline and focus.

I could remember a time like that when coach asked the whole team to go and have sex, he said we have to loosen up and and have a refill. So it also lies in our believes
