Been following post on Nairaland auto section lately, the scam here is just too much. I have had some had experiences of loosing money to people I once trusted, and I can say its a very sad and depressing experience.

In my own opinion, I would suggest that:

1. it should be made mandatory to post VIN for ALL vehicles to be sold on this forum. Be it tokumbo, Nigerian used brand new, etc.

2. Also, the moderators should take it as a responsibility to "certify" dealers that meet some stringent requirements. This dealers should be people that the MODERATORS of this forum can vouch for, and can be made available in any case of investigation or fraud.

3. Thirdly, for those that have gotten their hands burnt severally and would want to DIY, by buying and shipping their vehicles themselves, the Moderators should as well "certify/recommend" dealers/agents that such people can deal with from point of inspection, purchase, trucking/shipping, clearing, repairs/fixing/spraying, registration and delivery.

It should be the duty of the moderators to make sure that anyone recommended by the forum for any of the above can be held responsible for it.

Until this is done, we will still be going round in circles.

That means one must likely pass for it to be considered valid. Cos I don’t see them keep a bad score�

Whatever score you had in the test (no matter how big or small) is recorded against your name. In subsequent application within six months, if that score happen to be among the highest for any other role you applied for, you will automatically be considered.

Electrical Engineer? doubt there was any job posting like that. I know of Graduate Engineer, Procurement Analyst and other experienced positions like Drilling, Reservoir, Marine, Design and Construction and one other finance role. Don't think there was any role called "electrical engineer"

Like someone up there mentioned, that particular light behind the car is only for a hybrid vehicle; now you didn't mention if the car is a hybrid or not. Its not everybody that's in Abuja. Some people may want to know everything possible about a car before making a step to come to Abuja for inspection and purchase.

You got it wrong bro...

V4 should be a 4 cylinder engine where the cylinders are arranged in a v- configuration (just like v6).

The car you put up there does not come in v4 configuration, instead its an inline -4 or i4 configuration. Toyota has never manufactured a v4 engine for that car model up there.

Sometimes its good to know a little more about what you want to sell...google is your friend.

The car you sell is nice...but its a 'car abuse' to tag the engine as v4.

It's an offence for it to be faded. That's violation of Number plate. Motorists should ensure their vehicle have adequate features, equipments and tools.

That was the first time hearing of that....thanks for clarifying.

I was once flagged down by these folks...after checking everything in the vehicle to be OK, they said the blue marking on my plate number was faded/illegible. They threatened to impound my car....they finally asked me to apply for a new number plate.

Why is concrete better than blocks and cement?

When you have a proper mix of concrete and it is set, it is non porous unlike blocks.

What this means is that with concrete, you won't have that nasty growth of algae in your pond.

Of course you know what algae will do in your pond.


Back to your pond design, will your drain pipe be buried in the ground, or will water be pumped out using surface pump??

Raise with concrete...

The excavation is too close to the fence/wall....you should have left at least 5 to 6 feet in between.
