Stop being paranoid, I am almost 100% certain that no APC member/s will contemplate on hacking your site. The mere suggestion that APC could do such a thing is preposterous, I think it is time you read between the lines and stop listening to dimwits like Kint. He is just an attention seeker and an aging poverty stricken man.

I have heard claims that your site was hacked just after APC lost the Ekiti Elections, while the timing might seem coincidental with the hacking of your site. I will also like to remind you that a big argument was going on in the travel section between some Dubai based man who allegedly duped some ladies. They put all his details and pictures up and he threatened to shut NL down and that same day NL went offline. For me, that is a more plausible source of the problems you encountered.

APC members might not like the ways your MODs and yourself treat them but what will they gain by destroying the very medium by which they could use in pushing their message across to the public.

APC does not want to hack your site, they want to elevate the level of debate and they want a level playing field.

Anambra Adigo mma cool cool cool

Exactly, just like every other social media, Nairaland should be a Medium to reach those in Power.

Seun: barcanista was originally banned for not coperating with the admin which is a violation of rule 20, which says:
"20. Please cooperate with the moderators, super-moderators, and administrator. Treat them with respect."

The admin who is the highest authority on Nairaland asked Nairaland members to report their grievances to the moderators using the Mail Mods feature or to the Supermods using the Mail Supermods feature, in order to resolve a serious situation. barcanista refused to cooperate with that and that's why he was banned. When he came back, he lied that he was banned for a "non-existing reason" which is false information. Rule 8.

So the only condition under which such a person will be unbanned is if the person promises to start cooperating and stop posting false info.

@Bold: That rule is not applicable here. Ngwakwe is a GEJ Supporter, Fact! How do you expect an Anti-GEJ to cooperate with him? How do I respect someone that doesn't see anything wrong in GEJ led government? Even the infamous Sincere9gerian faults GEJ sometimes.. though he does that a cunny way.

Maybe you should tell us what/how he refused to cooperate with him.

Good Job tho.. Mr. Seun.

jmaine: Seun, if Ngwakwe has been redeployed then the highly biased partisan Mynd44 should also suffer same fate . . . .

Mynd44 that was tagged an Igbo Man last week because he banned someone?? grin grin
Someone even opened a thread asking what tribe is he. It seems you're the only one seeing him as a Bias Mod.

The Truth is that, he doesn't hide being anti-GEJ.. Which every right thinking man would do. He has banned my other handle wella. Before Ngwakwe sent My Precious Moniker to the future! grin grin

omerta: You are wise! Seun alleged some APC supporters hacked this site. A very huge allegation that should be a source of worry to every common sense bearing individual, anf it has been overlooked/ ignored.

On what basis was the allegation made? The Ekiti state election loss? Seun, as a webmaster should know hacking a site isn't easy and can't be done within a few hours, yet he he still went ahead to tag it as "perfect timing".

If NgeneUkwenu and Brahms wouldn't take offence to that, well I would. What sort of nonsense is that?
Does he think he is addressing a group of _retards that would rejoice at his so-called 'reconciliation' that looks more like an amnesty plan? Mtchew!

We all know, he's trying to vilify APC Supporters with that. In as much it's offensive to say that just like calling us BH Supporters, we gotta chill.

I repeat, Seun needs to hire an Expert in PR.

What is a thread about elementary schools, hospitals, maternity centers and power projects doing in the travel section? Do tourists visit these places? Of course not, it's just one of the things that debases this forum and make us question your judgement and mentality. You open the door for people to question your sense of judgement and fairness. Why bury contents that promotes and generate traffic for your own business even regardless of your political and ideological affiliations, how is progress and development in your own country something bad that you have to bury or delete.

Seun please kindly bring that thread back to where it rightly belong.. POLITICS. Thank you.

Since no one has spoken otherwise I will assume that you are the leader or spokeswoman of the vigilant APC Progressives on Nairaland.

I have implemented the unbanning of cramjones since it appears that he could be excused for the reason that was given for his ban.

However, the alternate id he created in violation of rule 18 has to be deactivated as it's against the rules, & APC is not a rule-breaking party.

Deactivate? Was expecting you to ban the Handle instead. What if he got banned wrongly again and needs to open a thread on it? Remember this not the first time he got banned for the same offence.

It's not a threat my brother, it's a Fact!

Why do you think people tag Reuben Abati has a Corrupt Fellow and an Opportunist?? He was a good Writer with interesting Articles about our Nation until he got to Aso-Rock and changed.

Seun: I have also decided to transfer Ngwakwe to a different section of the forum since he's perceived to be biased.
This is rather unfair cos he's been working hard, but I believe it will serve us well to have moderators who are less biased.

I have Mixed feelings about Ngwakwe, he's hard working but he lets his Emotions get the best of him. Which makes him ban people that doesn't share his view till 2024.

I have decided to unban Cramjones. It seems that banning him for the reason of impersonation was a mistake on my part.

Thank you. Now check other Handles, review their Offence and do the needful. If indeed they didn't abide by your rules, reduce the ban term. Year 2024 is Wickedness,

Mrval20: Mr Seun, If I were you, I wouldn't open this thread or go any further with this particular discussion.
Go ahead and apologise to the group of people in question if that's what you intend to do and let this matter end at this stage.
My spirit tells me this will lead to something else, outside Nairaland.
Everyone should be extremely careful.
Exactly, he needs to be very careful. This won't end well if care is not taken.

egift: Attn: Seun, Afam4eva, Ngwakwe, OAM4J, Ikenna351

Thank you all for the efforts to keep Nairaland on a path of decency and growth. As members, we will keep doing whatever we can to keep making useful suggestions, contributions and ideas to keep Nairaland at the top.

I wish to make a suggestion on the Nairaland Rule:

Rule 22: Don't edit anyone's post when you quote it. Penalty, 30 Days Ban

Explanation:
It is becoming common for some members who don't like you for whatever the reason, to quote your post, rewrite it entirely or in part to completely mean something else, and then write "FIXED".

This goes against all sensibility. Members have the right to make their opinion within the rules of the forum. Remember also "Every Nairaland member is solely responsible for anything that he/she posts or uploads on Nairaland".

It is therefore wrong for anyone to rewrite our comments in anyway. Even in a case of typographical or grammatical error! If you disagree with the member or wish to correct them, quote the post and write your own comment outside the quote.

While you can quote in part(s), highlight portions of the quote for emphasis, it should become a very big offense to be seen rewriting anyone's post on Nairaland.

Regards,
EGIFT

Seconded.

I hereby apologize for this. I have changed the title of this thread and my first post. I will refer to you as APC Progressives. Hope this is ok?
APC Progressives is like saying "ATM Machine", why not APC Supporters or APC Fans or Nairaland APC.

Most people will insist that they are neutral, but I believe in being open and honest. I am a Nigerian and so I naturally have an opinion about who I would prefer to have as a ruler over me. I am not an official member of any party. If I had the power to put a party or a person in power it would not be the current party or person that we have in power. I would choose honest and smart people who want to make Nigeria better.
You have the right to belong to any Party. But bringing that to a Sensitive Section like this? It's a bad move. Even though you never declare yourself as PDP Member. Well, you and Reuben Abati follows each other on Twitter, that explains it.

Did you say APC Fans were responsible for Nairaland Hacking?

Before we start processing your demands, the other APC warriors should please confirm that you are their contact person on Nairaland.

Sure. We will do this.

We do not believe that we have unjustifiably imprisoned anyone. If we did, then it must have been a mistake. Let us discuss each case openly.

Good suggestion. Some of the mods on the Politics section have not been active. The supermods have been doing all the work. This is bad.

Can the other APC progressives please confirm that Mr. Ngene Ukwenu is their chief contact person on Nairaland? What is his official position?

First of all, Unban CramJones.. Because he didn't break any rule.
Unban Barcanista
Unban Brimmie
Unban EggHeader
Unban IlugunBoy
Unban RapHead
Unban Clerverly - Cleverly
Unban Lagbake
Unban Odinma1

And yes, I personally Signed NgeneUkwenu proposal.

NgeneUkwenu: Seun! You called us Boko Haram Supporters, right?

Before any reconciliation or open debate as you may choose to call it, we demand the following immediately:

1. An open and unreserved apology to all APC supporters on Nairaland for calling them Boko Haram Supporters.(This should be stacked on topmost page of this Section for at least 2 weeks)

2. Unban with immediate effect, all Pro APC monikers, you unjustifiably imprisoned.

3. Fire some moderators on politics section.

Then, we can now sit down and discuss with you.

Yours Sincerely,

Ngene Ukwenu
On behalf of the Nairaland's progressives.
Signed!!

Interestingly, from media, not a kobo of the so-called intervention fund has supposedly got to Lagos where almost all the fighting was done, or has it?
Nope, it hasn't ! And it's never gon' happen. Because Dr. Onyebuchi said it's for the Ministry.

uchedydy: In a country wia everytyn seems to be upside down, we need to celebrate those who have done well.

Health Minister, Onyebuchi Chukwu indeed deserves commendation. In the wake of Ebola from AMERICAN-liberian Patrick Sawyer, the Health Minister swung into action. Tho it was shaky af first due to the seeming unpreparedness of everybody. He fought Ebola to a standstill, convening meetings here and there, giving directives on things, working with the Lagos state government and other states and notably providing up to date information to give public insight and calm tension. As at today we have no case of Ebola in the country. Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones, but it would have been more but for the hard work of the health minister and his team.

I am not a politician, but I think every good work deserves commendation.

Now to the man who fought hard to fight Ebola for his country, I say well done.

He doesn't deserve shi!t! Same clown that said N1.9bn Ebola Fund was for his Ministry to buy Cars. He's a thief! And an Opportunist trying to take glory of Commissioner Idris.
