ANDREW2EIC: Not actually bro! I only hand-picked the answer without bothering myself with solving. If u look at the question very well, we were expected to get a number whose log to base 10 is 0.3+++.

The simple logic to finding the answer is this: it is an established fact that the log to base 10 of x lies between the ranges 0 to 1 if only if 0<or=x<or=10. Did u get my drift?

When u look at the options, the only number less than 10 was 2.+++. Hence, that was the answer. UI was just trying to know how smart u could be. Solving wasn't really necessary.

Not @ all. Skills 4 putme and course exams are't correlated in anyway. I said this because,i have seen cases.

Akby: Wooooow! At last the result is out as said... Would like to use this medium to congratulate everybody that made it above 50. It wasn't that easy but congratulations. Welcome to the first and the best and also how come nobody is repping my dept *sobs* electrical/electronics students where are u now? #Para_Mode show oooo before I provoke that aside, the highest for this years' putme is still unknown to peeps for now. Last year was 88 and they are both from elect/elect and mbbs so watchout same thing might just happen. MBBS students congrats ooo like u guys are much here but my fear is the cut-off mark. UI admits best of the best so won't be surprise if the cut-off for MBBS this year is sooo HIGH but no qualms if u can't make it there would always be a fallback. UI admitted 125 students for MBBS last year so this year too might be within the range.
