The organization that accept me after interview said they don't know much about COS and how to go about it. They are asking me to guard them on how they can get me a COS and the document that is required . I am confused about this because I thought they should understand better. Please what is your advise on this because I have relied them already with the link of UK visa site. But I need suggestion. Is there another way around it . to secure a work visa for health care assistant. Thanks

Thanks very much for the information. I was expecting a feedback mail after I have sent a mail to them that I have accepted the post but they didn't reply back that was why I was curious.

You guys need to calm down with the rush for Certificate of Sponsorship. As long as you have been offered the job and you have accepted, CoS will eventually come. My CoS came after 4 months of accepting the offer because they wanted to conclude all the necessary checks.

All you need to do is start preparing all other documents needed to apply for Visa, especially PoF, should in case your sponsor does not provide maintenance.

If you have had an interview and you haven't gotten a response, wait for 1 (or 2) week(s), then send a follow up email. You should get a response to know where you stand.

Please after my interview I got a mail that I was accepted and that I show reply back if I accept the offer which I did but up till now o have gotten any feedback from them concerning my COS.

If you received offer and you're outside Nigeria, don't worry, they will issue you Confirmation of Sponsorship.

It may take 2-3 weeks after you receive conditional offer.

And no, you can't replace POF with COS. POF is proof of fund (money you have to support yourself) while COS is confirmation of sponsorship meaning the employer is sponsoring you to UK and sponsorship doesn't mean money.
