can't believe it took me a year to get through the first chapter. the man died, is an interesting book. chapter eight now. Before i read it, i kept saying to myself that no book can be so boring as to kill me, then it turned out the book wasn't even boring afterll. so say that to yourself, whenever you want to attack your fame fatal again |
@ cyberfreak welcome back. the sad story? i don't know, maybe because sad stories make better stories for me. yeah, th girl in the story is as sad as i wanted her to be. No short stories? no qualms. anytime you are ready, i would be waiting PDUSS was coined by me, so don't go using it unles you want to cite me (lol) have fun @platinum i am glad the story was deep. the way i wanted it. i am reading Wole Soyinka's 'THE MAN DIED' a book very difficult to read cuz of Soyinka's language anyway, i am actually a starting to understand it, and here is something interesting from the book. here it is Self-defence. That is why I write. That is how I manage to keep my mind under control. If I let it loose, unsupported by the frame of written thought, it goes wild. It takes sinister by-ways and ends up begetting monsters. …We need somebody else’s mind in order to keep on working terms with our own. We also need moments devoid of thought |
