Did Nigerians like the hit TV series 24? Answer is yes! So they will like any action movie as long as it is done properly, with good storyline. You dont need Alaba Marketers, your money will be made from Cinema and premiers everywhere. When you have exhausted that angle then you can release the DVd, When you are ready holla at me and I will give you some tips, introduce you to peeps you might need for this to work out. Finally anything that is properly done will sell regardless of the genre, so dont allow anybody to distract you. Wish you success |
As the world goes into frenzy about the death of this young life Amy Winehouse. You wonder if anyone should actually be surprised or shocked! I mean a drunk driver that hits another car could not be said to have caused an accident but endangered the life of others on purpose, because you have no business driving when you are drunk. Now considering the life of drug and alcohol abuse that Amy Winehouse has lived should anyone be, http://naijajoint..com/2011/07/amy-winehouse-dead-at-27.html |
Nobody is truly an atheists. A lot of them just make mouth and ask all those kindergarten questions sometimes, Like lil kids who ask! ask! and ask without pausing to think or imagine if what they are saying makes sense. Since they are the ones that says there is no God, the burden of proof lies with them and I don't see them coming up with anything meaningful! But at the time of death, some get scared wondering if they have toyed with this illusion for too long. You see an empty house in a Forrest and believes it has no builder. It suddenly appears there by itself. Yeah right! That the house is there in the first place is enough proof that somebody built it, even though you were not there when it was built, neither would you ever come in contact with it's builder. I don't do magic, so I believe just like a house, car, plane or chair has it's maker so also does the Sun, Moon, Stars, Man has it's maker. It's no brainier and not something to argue about. For those that wants to meet or see God first before you believe, I have a suggestion, first visit or take a trip to one of his creations the SUN, and when you are back from your visit you can meet him. |
LagosShia:RELIGION = Man looking for a god. So anything can be god to him including stone, reptile, animal (You can see that a lot in Estern Religion) BELIEVERS IN CHRIST = aiming to have Personal relationship with God. One on one! So understand the difference. Peace |
I beg everyone that opens this page to contribute or enlighten if you know more please!!!!! Thanks. Okay I know God has left most churches and CHRIST has been replaced by Pastors, GO's etc because we are now in the Era of Pastor worship, but I just noticed something new again amongst some self professed Christians, When they pray, they now say "The God of Adeboye" or "The God of Oyedepo", And I open my mouth wondering where is this coming from again? Why are people doing this? Even people wey dey serve juju self, dey do am in secret so why are self professed Christians worshiping and Idolizing their Pastors when there is a book called "The HOLY Bible" to guide? And even when you do it, why not in secret? In that book (Bible) God introduced himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (OT) These men are gone and since we have their history and God even introduced himself with their names it is safe to say they made Heaven. So my question now is, are these people no longer relevant anymore? Why replace them with your own pastors who are still alive today, since you dont know of anybody that will make heaven? This is not to put anyone down but to drum the hard core facts into the ears of pastor worshipers. You are not GOD, neither would you choose or select for him who will make heaven and who wouldn't. Your pastors are not divine but mortals. Even if they raise up the dead, draw fire from heaven, they still remain under these words "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" I would rather pray in the name of "The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, our Lord Jesus Christ" and live it at that because they have been established by our guide "THE BIBLE" None of your pastors or GO's has. Finally Christians were given only one name to pray with, and that name is JESUS CHRIST! It should be the God of our lord Jesus Christ, Not Adeboye, Oyedepo, Oyakhilome. I am sure your pastors or GO's don't pray in their own names so why are you doing that? If for any reason you want to pray with any name for that mater it should be "YOUR OWN- God" and not anybody's because deep in your heart you alone knows the God you serve. Now this post is not to stop anybody from worshiping their pastors or Go's because truth is I can not do that and nobody can because you will find a million reasons to defend your actions but since it is not biblical abeg make una take am easy! Na beg I dey beg o! no be force, Anybody that knows better please elighten us, using the Bible as reference and not what your pastor said because truth is I trust and Believe the Bible more than your Pastor or GO. Thanks |
Guy! Na where u dey rush go self? Abeg take a chill pill and cool down. Instead of you to enjoy your new relationship you dey here dey work yourself up. You need to know someone to be able to propose marriage, and 2months is not enough to know a person. So my advice to you is stop this marriage talk, enjoy and build your relationship. Who knows in a year or two the girl might even leave the J-witness on her own without your help so chill abeg! |
Compared to where they got all these pics from, this is just a tip of the iceberg. Below is the Facebook Link to see more than 2000pics The Nigerian Nostalgia 1960 -1980 Project Photos2,370 photos http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=152978661409591 It's heart breaking seeing what Naija used to be like, but also comforting to know that this present Generation (the Youths) wants change |
POTUT:Sorry, I don't believe the two were the same. One brought in Discipline (Naijas biggest problem) the other Legalized Corruption. Now that's the way i see it |
The sight that greeted Andy on the street was troublesome and a bit too much for him, John was laying on the cold floor with doctors working hard on him. Shocked he walked over to them and asked if he is dead, http://naijajoint..com/2011/07/imported-bride.html |
See as some people dey scream with happiness "Genevieve attended a party with Solange! Genevieve attended a party with Solange!" I am like So - who? http://naijajoint..com/2011/07/genevieve-nnaji-vs-solange.html |
Outstrip:For real? That's so horrible, I feel like throwing up |
Jenonye:Dumping him it is then! But pls dont stoop low to his class by trying anything stupid. He has shown the greatest disrespect to you not just by cheating, but with your own blood. you shouldn't waste any time on him, the sooner you forget him the better. As for your sister, you don't even need to tell her that the guy will hurt her real bad at the end, cos she already knows that. What you do need to tell her is how hurt you felt by her betrayal and that she has lost your trust. Whatever you do, close the chapter on that bagga ASAP! Don't invest your time or energy on him cos it's not worth it |
Advocator:Guy, did you read the complete story at all? (If not pls do, if you have the time) This is a true life story |
Advocator:But this is RAPE which ever way we look at it |
It is always fun to attend an African party in the western world when you are an African, especially a wedding party because each party is always trying to outshine the last. So at this particular one, dude had all the works! Limo, Hummer, etc, People came from far and near, beautiful people I must say and the after party was off the chains. Over four hundred people dancing drinking and having fun till early hours of the morning. At about 2am Sam has had enough fun and ready to go home and sleep because the wedding actually started since 2pm. But his girlfriend/live-in –partner Sandra still wants to party, so the tired Sam left Sandra with his close friend Dennis and asked him to drop her off at his place on his way home. Sandra and Dennis continued drinking and partying till 4am and finally left when the party was almost over. By this time both Sandra and Dennis were drunk, so Dennis took her home. Sandra later woke up to find herself on Dennis’s bed. Surprised, she asked why he didn’t take her home. He replied that he was too drunk and could barely make it to his own place. So Sandra went to the bathroom to freshen up, and there she found Fluid all over her Private Parts. She rushed out screaming, asking Dennis what he had done. Even as she was, http://naijajoint..com/2011/07/she-drank-at-party.html |
Na pant dem dey wear go club? Abi na strip dancer the first one be? |
armyofone:But na the same police fight their wives pass. Ask anyone that has been in police barracks before, Unless the government makes this a crime I dont see any solution except the girls/ladies takes my advice and learn some karate to protect themselves, and Sometimes harrass the male fellows like saying "Oya na you go wash plate and cook today or else I go just sound you!" ![]() |
nice write up. of course violence shouldnt be escalated, but if a man constantly feels abuse is the only form of dialogue he has recourse to, that's not good.
Thanks glad you liked it, But domestic abuse has been part of our daily lives in Naija that some see it as normal and my fear is that with the recent stabbing to death of the young lady wahala dey for road! |
Nigerians - Men and women- need to be properly enlightened on the issue of abuse. Nice write-up. I enjoyed reading, esp. the part written in pidgin. Funny, but a serious issue.
Thanks Missy B, glad you liked it, but as you said this is a very serious issue and I do hope women would start learning how to protect themselves cos it looks like nobody is ready to protect them and this abuse thing might even get worse |
No be today husband and wife, boyfriend and girl friend start to dey fight. The thing don start before Oduduwa time, but na when the thing don move from slap, blow, bite to killing Nigerians come dey wake up. Some people just take am as part of life say it's normal untill that suma-binch stab that poor girl to death na him people start to dey discuss am. But on the real a Guy that beats his wife or girlfriend is the weakest man alive and there is no excuse on God's planet for that. Yeah I have head all the reasons in the world, "You dont know my wife, you dont know my girlfriend and all the blah! blah! and unripe plantains that follows" So because you cant take it, then you had to resolve to violence? Truth is men only do this because they know they are stronger and can beat the ladies in question. My question be say, if your wife or girlfriend strong like Mike Tyson, you sure say you no go find another option even if she provokes you? Of cause you wont dare hit her because she will beat the hell out of you and you wont step outside for fear of being laughed at by your peers. Now to all my Naija, African, inshort women all over the world here is an advice that might save your life, So please take this very seriously. Invest in yourself! Take "Karate lessons" It might save your life someday because it normally starts from little slaps and gradually graduates to killing. Especially for women in Naija, cos Nigeria is a copycat society, we sabi copy bad thing no be small and before you know it you will be reading about a guy that kills his wife or girlfriend everyday in the news papers. So take my advice serious because once a man knows you can defend yourself, he will think twice before hitting you. He will finally choose dialogue. For those wey dey Naija, hook up with "Natty Bruce" he is the same guy that gave Genevieve Nnaji and others lessons for the movie 30 Days. He is very known in Nollywood, ask anybody for "Natty Bruce"and I am sure he doesnt charge so much. I no wan hear say another lady loose her life o! And if your boyfriend slap you, just leave am at once no matter how much im beg unless he go for therapy. Dont allow his promise of taking you to Tantalizer, Mr Bigs or buying you the latest Blackberry make you go back to him o! I sabi say una Naija girls like Blackberry pass una mama, but your life is more important trust me. A word is enough for the ? Oya finish the sentence.http://naijajoint..com/2011/07/domestic-violence.html |
Fashola is light years ahead |
Hailings to all here. Still new on this site, A quick question though! WHY ARE MOST GUYS HERE OBSESSED WITH A VIRGIN? |
lol, una no wan leave this man alone at all |
Una too harsh! Abeg make una cool downuna temprature jare! |
Truly Sad. May her soul rest in peace. Amen. |
Nairalanders i'm in a fix and seriously need help. In a serious relationship with a wonderful woman, one you can define (to the altar). We've been dating for a couple of years and we're planning on getting married later this year but i seem kinda trapped now. We seem perfect on the outside but we're struggling on the inside. Her troubled childhood and bad relationships seem to be what I'm paying for at the moment. I accepted her for who she was when we started out and thought being loving and 100% sincerity was the antidote to whatever issue she must have had but it really isn't working i must confess. My being loving and attentive seems to make her feel uncomfortable, she says no man can ever be as good as i am except that i have something up my sleeves, when i try withdrawing a lil bit she says didn't she tell me i'll change. She's so good at everything else, if we have small issues no1 seems to listen to my part, they say it must be my fault etc. Family members being around has started making her uncomfy too, she says she we need our space (buh i had a family b4 i met her, one that actually raised me). To worsen it all, i can't even complain about anything she does now without her turning it all over and making me the culprit for something i complained about. I really want us to work out but i cant afford to manage a married life, I'll appreciate any and all suggestion(s). I've asked the Audience now, the last lifeline for me is to walk away,
Before saying anything I would advice you both seek proffessional help. And my own advice to you is take her out or do the thing you know she loves best and when both of you are in a real good mood, sit her down and pour out your heart. I mean tell her what you just told us, how you cant talk anymore without her turning it into something else. Communication is the key to a good relationship but unfortunately lots of people confuse talking for commnunicating. Finally you have to make her believe that your relationship cant work if you dont resolve this vital part of it and you should not be afraid to do this because your future happiness depends on how you handle this. Success |
cephaspee:Hello!!!!! Are you a Policeman or what? I mean what do you mean 'Should I allow her"? Dude that is not your decision to make, you are not God so you dont own her. She is your partner but not property, so if she says she wanna keepr her Virginity till marriage, then you should be proud of her and respect her wish. As for whether she is good in bed, or not you shouldnt worry about that. I am guessing you are good youself so when the time comes teach her and I am betting she will be willing to learn the art of Kamasutra from you. Wish u success |
No be small thing o |
And na from wiah dem dey get all the arms and amunition from? Abi the thing dey fall from sky enter dia hand? |

? Oya finish the sentence.
