Travel / Re: Ibadan Residents Protest Telecom Companies Destroying Their Roads On Twitter by bremo(m): 12:00am On Apr 11, 2019
I won't fault the Telecom companies as they have approval from government before embarking on such projects. Relevant government department has collected huge sum for the approval to fly and for renovation of such roads after execution of the project. So, left for me, the government are to blame for these acts. Moreover, a standard situation should have been an already laid conduit for any Telecom company's use whenever they have expansion work to be done on their network but unfortunately we don't have it available in any part of the country except for few areas in Abuja central business district.

It's terrible the type of negative effect this sanction will take on our growing economy. CBN needs to make a thorough comprehensive findings before issuing any form of sanctions on these banks. The supposedly transaction did not just happened at least giving them enough window for proper investigation into the situation. Naija I hail

Any ideas about prices, what to look out for etc?
According to your pocket. If you're looking for range of 20k-30k, you'll get it there. And if it's 40k-60k, you'll also get. They have other high end ones too up 100k and above.

Check Alaba in Ojo, or better still in Oshodi Arena market at Block C9. There's a guy that sells around there too.

It's not just on Apapa-Oshodi express way, what of those ones on Ikorodu Rd? It's a big turn off for a state that derives joy in over stressing already stressed out citizens after hard day's work.

It seems many do not understand the implication of what actually happened to Blessing. With her wig falling off her head behind her, the distance measured will stop where her wig fell which reduces the actual distance she jumped. See the picture for confirmation.
It's part of what she should have taken care of before coming to the field of play. Wish her success in other activities.

Education / Re: WAEC Supervisor Assaults Female Muslim Candidate by bremo(m): 6:24pm On Sep 06, 2016
This is not the beginning of the story neither is it the end. It's better and safer to hear from the other party to ascertain what really transpired. Though, I feel if the hijab is the small one there should be no problem with that except WAEC does not approve of it at all during exam.

I hope that Ambode will prosecute the useless KAI man and get him dealt with judicially.

There's no need to deal with anyone. KAI officer was just doing what he's being paid to do. How many times has the government sounded the warning for the hawkers? Even with KAI truck around the area, hawkers will do what they want. All the same, RIP to the hawker.

It's actually terrible as airlines in the country attend to their customers. How on earth could they book passangers beyond available space for a trip? Where did we keep the technology?

@ henrydadon, Arik has never been the cheapest flight in Nigeria. Do confirm your post pls.

werepeLeri: Who will ever say this beautiful attire is a miss?
It's only those that are already sold into foreign culture and they are lost into it that will say the attire is a miss. When are we going to start doing things to promote what we have in our own land as Nigerians? How long are we going to be sold out to the western culture and forget ours? Even the westerners are fighting hard to keep their culture but here we are with lousy mouth saying this is a miss. IT'S A BIG HIT:*

Every body is accountable to someone or the other be it a boss or servant. Her reason for blaming the scarcity on Nigerians is uncalled for. She should do her job well as stipulated. Moreover its really showing from the outcomes we are experiencing.

Uhmm, what a surprise that Seun could bear his mind out about nairaland (cos know him to be a "very" quiet guy)grin. It's quite wonderful and fulfilling to see what the forum has grown to become right now. Could remember back in those days when he will be locked up inside "ROOFTOP" for days trying to figure it out all by himself with no disturbance on his systems. Kudos Seun!!! I believe in you and don't let anybody bring you down. You are the best, so keep it up. cool cool
