Most, if not all Nigerian banks are crooks. They dare not try their gimmicks in any of the western nations. They are part of the problems we have in Nigeria. They are involved in numerous shady deals, ranging from helping politicians to launder their loot, hide their ill-gotten stolen wealth, FOREX racketeering, etc... Just name any shady financial deals, they are wholly involved.

Have you checked their end of year statements for the few ones that have branches/operates outside Nigeria.

They should be taxed heavily to contribute to our economic development.

The banks are commercial in nature and they must keep the business running...
