hungryboy: What precedent is Buhari's Efcc trying to set here? Are the telling us that, if you are a rich and powerful politician who embezzled public funds, All you have to do is return part of the money and promise to pay the rest back installmentally, And you will be let go by Efcc? . Seems being jailed for stealing in this country only happens to the poor and powerless? For now , I think we should do with that .. The thiefry was just tooo much , if you say you gonna jail them , money will not be refunded, because they know at the end of the day , they will be locked up .. Am not saying this is good though , but let's make use of this to mop up funds and send a message to others .. |
