ogehomes:Wow, where have you been, or has your schedule been as crazy as mine use to be. |
Its Another Rainy Friday morning. Do be careful as you go about today. |
The rainy season is here again, and you can't find your umbrella. We love the rainy season, because it's cool and airy, we don't have to sweat too much. Plus we can finally end the daily Night vigil, praying to Phcn for light so we can sleep. But with the rains and the cool weather, comes other issues. Colds Cough Mosquitos Fevers Pneumonia What's a mom got to do to protect herself and the little ones, during this cool period. You can start by Ensuring that you and your kids, sleep under covers when the night gets too cold. Please don't have the little ones, sleep on the cold floor. It might seem like a good way to drop body heat, when the weather is hot, but it will get a chilly later. Concrete floors and marble tiles, drop temperature faster than the human body. Have a carpenter look at your Window nets or replace torn mosquito nets. This is their season, they usually come bearing gifts (malaria) and they won't leave til they see blood. Drink more water. The weather makes us feel less dehydrated, because the sun is not always there to soak up all the moist. That doesn't mean your not loosing moist. You will notice you drink less water but feel the need to sleep a lot. It's a wet one out there people so try and stay protected. If there more things you think will help people during this period, please add below. |
Good morning peeps. Look out for our discussion on the use of Silicone liners and Dermal seals for prosthesis users. Why use them? |
dboss444:Well said Dboss. In my line of work. I have come to notice that, Nigerian's are not aware of the leaps, that prosthetic technology has taken in this country. One can't blame them, because what they mostly see in their every day lives, is the disabled person without an arm or a leg begging in the street or near a traffic light. What they don't notice, people walking around who are wearing, or using one form of prosthesis or another. Their movements,so precisely normal. Most people around are not aware. The prosthetic technologies, used previously in the various National orthopeadic hospitals around the country, were not helping to change that outlook. But with the in roads, being made by Prosthetic technology manufacturers, from around the world in Nigeria. Companies like.. 1. Ottobock www.ottobock-export.com 2. Ossur www.ossur.com 3. Win walker www.win-walker.com/ 4. Jaipaur www.jaipurfoot.org 5. International red cross The above have their presence in Nigeria, they work with various country reps www.ifeanhealth.com, www.purpleprosthetics.com, www.rocc.com.ng, deltaorthopediclab.com/ability.htm. Plus they are also helping to setup certified centers around the country. They are also providing training to professionals, in the National orthopeadic hospitals, on how to fit patients with their prosthesis. Change has truly began, No more do patients with disabilities or amuputee, need to travel for fitting of prosthesis, as they can be handled in the country. if you would like to know about the best prosthesis for your loved ones call Brian 07035803388 |
Good morning and a happy new month of June to everyone |
Thanks for you questions and your responses. You have any other questions please ask. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PGjsRUjQHs |
pitaodey:Do you have any research, documentations, case studies, citations or a url link to article with appropriate referencing to known researchers to prove this. If not, then thanks for the Nigerian Blab. It was most un-amusing. Or more like saying Masturbation and excess intercourse, reason for quick aging, hairloss and menopause in younger women. Sounds very true. But alas, no url research, documentations, citations and case studies to back it up. Except as a gist of gossip and time wasting xiscussion among people who don't know better. |
Hmm, What to say to our out going president. I am still thinking of what to say? I was initially thinking of "Thunder Fire You" But i think that was too, em Nigerian. Lets see, will "Heavy Thunder fire you dere" Do. Hmm, Still too subtle. Let the poster below suggest something more approach |

It is remarkably well-written, available free online (SICP Web Site http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/), and has video lectures (Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs Video Lectures http://groups.csail.mit.edu/mac/classes/6.001/abelson-sussman-lectures/) recorded several years ago at MIT. I recommend using the Racket http://racket-lang.org/ programming environment to follow along and do the exercises. Once you learn this material, you will have set yourself a fantastic foundation. Most languages will be easy to learn, and most computing technologies will seem pretty straightforward, as well. courtsy http://www.quora.com/What-are-the-best-resources-sites-books-or-tutorials-for-learning-programming p.s Some of you would say that watching the videos on some of these sites may be data consuming, why not just download the video? you can do this on chrome, firefox or opera browse, search on the add-on store or plug-in for each browser. Hmm,i am in a relationship with a lot of girls in my office. We talk dirty, we play dirty at times. When we ball, its like non stop, champagne popping, pizza flicking, buffet jumping and club hopping. They are more like my protectors and seekers. i want something or someone, they get. They want something i get. But never once have i had sex with them. not that it didnt occur to me earlier when i was new to the office. Thank God i didnt, cos that would have really spoilt things now. |
Has your BP always been 100/60. You might be having hypertensive state in pregnancy which is called pre-eclampsia. Your Doctor will tell you more about it. It's an emergency. |
People say architecture jobs in Julius Berger. Please ask yourselves why would jb recruit architects. From working with contract firms that work with jb I have come to understand that that job is usually outsourced to architectural firms internationally, locally to a few firms like James Cubitt Big firms like Costain and jb only handle structural thousands road building and building carcass. When a project is sited for development jobs are alloted to various firms. Architectural Structural M&E Find the area you role or skill fits and search and apply accordingly. Don't waste your time going after the wrong firm with the wrong role. E. G architect applying to structural firm, cappa dlbarto, jb, costain. Erong Mechanical applying in an architectural firm, wrong Most times you won't get a reply. |
Having worked for some of these firms and in the construction field a while back. I would say the first poster got it right but with out costain and some others. You need to divide the list by what area the different construction firms handle. Whether they are Structural based Mechanical and electrical based. Currentily Morgan omonitun and chase stand as a first go to for structural jobs. While Elalan faces both some times but are core structural based MOA bruneli megawatts electriiks have been known to dabble into structural too but their core business are M&E. One should not forget the facility management firms also, firms like Provast(part of the Elalan group) AB facilities Are other firms to watch for. But the list of firms on all three areas are large and new names keep popping up daily. If one wants a career in constructions and with these firms. One first has to consider where on fits and what want can do for these firms and not just flinging cv's at them and hoping for the best. I know Elalan, A B facilities, bruneli and a lot of others recruit on a daily basis depending on the constructions or services they are currently handling. If you have experience/background in facility management, metal works, fitting installations, piping, safety, or just your basic laborer skills. Then there is a chance if you send your cv, the might call you for one of their projects. But to get it right, always check that these companies have projects their currently handling E. G sign boards outside a new project development around the island and other place, then copy details and mail or call asking if they need your skills. Because that's when they are usually recruiting. Also check that your skill matches what the company is handling on the project. E. G Morgan Omonitun (structural), you skill payloader or bobcat operator. That's how I got my first job with one of the major construction firms. |
Exactly, just go to the site and apply. I did mine last month and got it yesterday at my office address. Problem: it's only used to receive payments |

6 Naija ways to know the girl wants to have sex with you. She actually came over Now if that is not a sure sign then what is. Guys seriously that she would leave her home and decide to travel, walk or fly to see you at home. Even if you home is 4X4 cubile or a three bedroom bachelor pad or a mansion, she decided that because of you she want to come to your place, after all your effort, your recharge card and all those expensive outings. Give thanks, pat yourself on the chest, do fist pumping or any other macho move you know gets you pumped up. Because you are the MAN. Now let your ego do the rest of the talking. She laughs at your jokes She’s around and you start putting on you “I Go Dey” and “BasketMouth” moves and she’s actually laughing she head’s off at everything you say. Please don’t stop, do continue. Like which woman doesn’t like a dude with a wicked sense of humor. She is always smiling at you Each time she stops to catch her breath from you joke routines, your eyes lock with hers and you both smile sheepishly. But I know your smile s more of that of a wolf in sheep clothing wink wink!! Oh she likes the way you smile. Dude she’s sizing up, this is the best time to put on the charm and tell her some sweet words about her and her body. But please do not over do it, else she will think you’re a perv. Oh and whatever you say, start with the way her dress looks, not with the way her breast looks. When you get close she doesn’t …. The game of tag begins and for some reason she hasn’t fled the scene. Dude give yourself a thumbs up behind you. Keep the gist coming and keep approaching. If she doesn’t keep starring at the door and other possible escape routes while you are at it, then keep getting closer and closer like the Close up ad says. Houston we have touch down: Yes you have you hands on her and testosterone is fogging up your senses. Your mind is saying take it slow but you for other mind its saying omo see bobby, guy hol am. Pay attention to your mind, not the other mind down under. This is the best time to crack a joke and tease her. What works faster, tease her then tickle her. You will find that your hands will find all the right places after that. She goes to the bath room In the middle of this tease and tickle section, she goes to the bath room or at an earlier time. There by giving you a view of that Arsenal as they sway from left to right. Please pay attention to them well. You see ladies always wear tights to emphasize their asset (get it ass..). But when the game of take it all off starts, they are always wearing one sexy panties and for some reason the assets aren’t emphasize but you would notice cos she looks “oh so sexy”, Plus hey you guessed it, no tights. If you see this or notice this from the start, then you are so gonna get it. Question Where do the hide them tights when they take it off, cos she didn’t go to the bathroom with her hand bag? My job is so f-ing unbelievable. I'll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with: First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but damn is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on make-up. She is extremely self-centred and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe. The next chick is completely the opposite. She might even be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career opportunities are endless, and yet she is here with us. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm not sure she even showers, much less shaves her "womanly" parts. I think she might be a lesbian, because every time we drive by the hardware store she moans like a cat in heat. But the jewel in the crown has got to be the f-ing stoner. And this guy is more than just your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I'm sure after work. He probably hasn't been sober any time in the last ten years, and he's only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960's, and to make things worse, he brings his big freaking dog to work. Every freaking day I have to look at this huge Great Dane walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think it's trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Also, both of them are constantly hungry, requiring multiple stops to McDonald's and Burger King, every single freaking day. Anyway, I drive these f-tards around in my van and we solve mysteries and sh*#t. |
Safety and security notice for tomorrow's election: My fellow Nigerians, As you go out to cast you vote, please pay attention to the surroundings of your polling centre.
