yorosstores: SDP of that dispensation was scrapped. They only re-registered in same name Get informed The Social Democratic Party (SDP) is the only Nigerian political party that existed before the 1993 elections and is still active today. Formed in 1989 during the military regime's transition program, the SDP was one of two government-created parties (the other being the National Republican Convention, NRC) for the Third Republic. It fielded Moshood Abiola as its presidential candidate in the annulled 1993 election. While the SDP was dormant for years after the military takeover, it was revived in the Fourth Republic and remains registered and active, participating in elections as recently as 2023, though with limited influence compared to major parties like the APC and PDP. No other pre-1993 party has maintained continuous existence. @grok |

Putinofrussia: Some people act as if they are not educated. If you say President Tinubu decamped: Give us the names of the already existing political parties before he joined ,their chairmen and proof that they were registered with INEC before the decamping.
All those decampees like Obi,Atiku,Aregbe etc decamped to political parties that were already existing, registered with INEC and had chairmen, Tinubu was senator under SDP....he decamped to AD after the death of Sani abacha! SDP still exists! You guys show get properly inform from that your outdated whatsapp group! Ignorance is no excuse! |

He warned that those who refuse to surrender face certain elimination. But NSA Ribadu boldly stated that insecurity has been brought down by 90% Or was he carrying water in his mouth when he made that statement? |

Vianna: I spent more than 25k to make sure kiddwaya remained in that house. That's not even painful coz I still can't phantom how kiddwaya got evicted yesterday. I've not even tuned in to Chanel 198 since then, what's there to watch again? Another mystery I keep asking myself is how people like dorathy manage to have fans, I just wonder what their personalities will be like. Concentrated boredom. I hope trickytee wins HOH again tonight tho. NOT necessary he picks laycon but I just want him to be in the finals.

Does she not know the tension that comes with eviction, and now the person you call your friend survived eviction and you didn't congratulate him.. Nobody has been this mean to his/her friend in the history of bbn. Atleast she should have pretended She was shocked with the exit of kid! If Kidwaya had been safe, she would not have felt it...and they would have continued their "friendship"! She said "she vibes with kid more"! Not my words but hers! |

I am trying so hard to understand Nengi..... First she says she wants Ozo as a friend and yet she does to him what those in strong relationships do...If you think i am lying, ask tricktee! Vee confronts her about her relationship with Ozo and she says they have to take it 'one step at a time'! You go on parties and hardly dance with him... When he gets so engrossed in you after leading him on,you ask that he starts seeing other people! You talked to him in a condescending manner by telling him he is not even on your 200 list of guys! Finally, you have asked that he should distance himself from you! He has granted you that wish and you are now feeling pained to the point where you a complaining to Biggie that he is giving you a nasty attitude! |

Goodman247: The op was talking about a kid, later he was talking about kids, most of the stories in nairaland are fake It was a typo which was too obvious in most of his write-ups! There was a part where he wrote 'gave' instead of 'grave'! He already corrected himself that he had a kid not kids! If it was fictional,he would not contribute to the discussion! |

Obingene: You people and money, are you people totally useless without money? Because I am not and never been.
Come on, there is more to life now. I studied Economics and many a times, I have broken this thing called money. It's a reward for value, it's also a means to an end and there are so many factors that determine its availability or scarcity.
I'm tired hearing about money issues everytime. Haba! It's that why you came to earth? To make money and just leave?
Listen everyone, if money is the main resource you have to offer people, then you are just like a candle in d wind, you will be blown out soon and forgotten.
Finally, if anyone disrespects you because of money, walk away from that person.
The circular flow of income shows that money can never be at a place at a particular time, more so, now we have leaders to hoard and keep wealth meant for everyone to themselves.
I conclude with this, if as a guy or a lady, you know you would disrespect your spouse in eventuality that they become broke, please don't marry, or better still, leave the relationship.
Leave and find your pot of gold. Boldly Seconded!

Instead of brains, you have mucor and mold inside your skull.

Independent woman that cannot take a hike when the man is not serious but will wait for him to end things while still opening legs like wide like a tree branch for any man that baits her with marriage.
You think you have sense or make sense. I wonder the idiots who take people like you serious. Because you have expressly shown that your thinking prowess is projecting geometrical to the negative x-axis.

Chimaokigwe: Let me tell you something.
In the tech space in Nigeria, give it to the Yorubas. Go and check anywhere, once you see 10 tech Startups, 8 are founded by Yorubas. The remaining 2, Yorubas must be on the team.
You may think this is nothing and sit in your spare parts shop eating akpu with oha soup but Yoruba Startups would dictate the pace of businesses in coming years.
A single startup sourcing, inspecting and delivering vehicle parts all across Nigeria can within 5 years dictate the pace of the entire spare parts business in Nigeria. You guys have started again with this ethnicity bs! I thought that ended with the elections? Must we always put ethnic connotation in every argument on nairaland? When are we going to reach a situation where we all celebrate the awesomeness of Nigerians all over the world? When Dr. Philip Emeagwali was accorded the award of inventing the fastest computer in the world,he was first referred to as a nigerian! Lets all stop this whole tribalism attack which has led us to no where and celebrate this great feat from an extraordinary nigerian! |

You have been both governor and senator during the start of this project and yet you never had the guts to tell him about its completion but you had to wait after you defected to make such statements hoping to gain some support from ignorant folks.....
If you could not tell Bruce while you were a PDP senator, then you have no moral justification to ask him to complete it now that you have moved to APC!
I am guessing EFCC will stop their investigations about his alleged embezzlement of state funds during his tenure as governor of akwa ibom!
