Let me quote 2 Corinthians 9:7 CEB, " Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn't give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver." Based on that, there is nothing wrong if a person decides to be giving 10% of their income for the propagation of the Gospel, but let him not relate it to the Mosaic tithing, or else he comes under judgement of the Law (James 2:10).

Principles of Christian giving.

Condition of heart and attitude are more important than what is given; Matthew 5:23-24. Acts 5:1-11, Mark 12:41-44.

As far as I am concerned, clapping for donors is absolute rubbish. Humbly give without expecting to get an applause from the people; James 4:10.

Give anonymously, if possible; Matthew 6:3.

Don't give in order to out-give others.

Don't give ill-gotten wealth to the church; Ephesians 4:28.

Giving is to be done as an act of worship to GOD, same way you pray. Giving must be prayerfully done, not out of the blue.

A believer should give willingly, not out of compulsion or pressure; 2 Corinthians 9:7.

To joyfully give to the needy means to give to GOD; Matthew 25:40, 2 Corinthians 9:9.

RayMcBlue: Lots of loose ends, and with only one episode to wrap 24 series all up, my questions now is: how the hell are the producers going to tie up all the loose ends under 43 mins??

Unless the season finale is going to deviate from the traditional 43 mins and extend to a One hour plus kind of mini movie format, a lot of fans are going to be disappointed and unsatisfied by the inevitable rush job that is lurking in the shadows.

i tink the last episode of 24 season 9 will either go down as the most captivating and thrilling episode the world has ever seen OR its will end up as a total disappointment and embarrassment to the producers and directors...but am consoled by the fact that JON CASSAR is d one directing d last episode...that guy is a superb director!!
