Remember in f.t.a you cannot get all with one dish , if you can motorise it, now with your dish if you want to track sirius4 use this 12605 v 29950 lnb skewed at 6 o'clock now standing at the back of your dish raise up to 5 degrees east( almost facing the sky) then move gradually towards your right you will hit green.. For w3a use 11193 v 3209 lnb skewed at 9 o'clock standing at the back of dish from that sirius position lower your dish down say 2 inches then move gradually to your left a few inches e.g 3 to 7 inches, you will hit green, happy hunting.....

If you are in nigeria, with your 60cm dish you can get multi tv(28 degrees east, 12551 v 19531 with mpeg4 decoders) or w3c(16 degrees east, 10804 H 30000 with mpeg 4 decoders), you cannot get nilesat with 60cm here you will atleast 3m dish depending on your location.

mbatuku2: Pls house can i use my STR 4953X decoder with 60cm dish to track good FTA satellites? Or do i need an upgrade for better results?

If you are using either of dishes 60cm,80cm,90cm e.t.c there are calibrations i.e readings at the back of the dish, try to the calculation wisely.

yeah, sure it is mpeg 4. If you want to add another to that your setup you will probably need to track w3c first then followed with multitv/dstv with a lnb holder(locally made or brand new) all in a 90cm dish or if you don't want to soil your setup you can use different dish, say 60cm dish and above for w3c. Enjoy..

all protocols should be observe, thats why i directed you here. The w3c nut screwing is at 16 degrees, lnb skew at 8 o'clock. From dstv/multitv position, raise your dish gradually up to 16 degrees first then move gradually to your right, standing at the back of your dish you will hit green. I hope you are using mpeg 4 receiver and above? Goodluck.

your sure bet is 3.5m dish and above you can hook those birds

Adex70: @Brigth02 the best way is to do away with all ur small dish, just keep ur w3a and dismantle the rest then motorised ur 1.8 and u will not regret. Visit nilesat tread u will see all what u are looking 4 in constructing a neck post by obnelly, also do not be afraid of any military or any force on the earth ,there is no law in the world that forbid any body to view free to air.

thanks bro, since the house(yard) is backing the field, and my 1.8m is outside thereby giving room for more attention, i've decided to dismantle it for now till when my motorise neck will be done. Now i have 4 dishes up 80cm-w3a,90cm-intelsat7/10,60cm-w3c,60cm-multitv, these will do at moment, till when the motorise neck is ready. @all, for your words of encouragement over my plight i know am nt alone in this f.T.A business and because of this i stand GIDIBA

I Hacked: Brodas George D and obnelly below is some of the dish i construct at home before
the lnb arm is made up with aluminum that the sliding doors makers use
the flashing plat was use by one inch plate
i first build the shape of lnb holder as a partner and i use old unused TV cover
to make it.

if you have 80cm dish you can hook up to w3a 7'E, there's a tremendious increase in signal quality my mbc channels 11.192 v 3.209 71-75%, record mozambique 10.963 v 3.254 66%, 12.731 v 29.998 gives me 61%(picture quality stable) down here in PH. So you too you can.. Viva f.T.A
