PoliticsRe: Governors Are Running Nigeria Broke- Okonjo-iweala by Brixtonyute(m): 12:24am On Apr 14, 2012
manny4life: In her new budget for fiscal year 2012 which was signed by the president today, recurring expense was drastically reduced, and looking at the Revised 2012 Budget Proposal, recurring expense represented 52% (though high), but was still came down from where it was previous years before. Meanwhile, the "STAT'S TRANSFER" represented about 9%, how do you want her to control something that isn't within her statutory authority? huh huh huh
You're just being disingeneous - how can she say the country is going broke when N1.32 trillion was proposed for capital expenditure while N3.429 trillion was for recurrent expenditure. The darn recurrent expenditure is three times the capital expenditure - and you think this woman has a brain?

In layman's term - we're wasting three times the money we're investing - and you guys think this woman is smart?

SHE IS USELESS!!!! GEJ IS UTLRA USELESS!!! AND PDP WILL ROAST IN HELL!!
PoliticsRe: Governors Are Running Nigeria Broke- Okonjo-iweala by Brixtonyute(m): 12:17am On Apr 14, 2012
And the darn committees this clueless administration has been setting up since they came into power need to go. SURE and all that useless jamboree, arm chair pseudo-professionals need to go. We can't afford to keep spending the money we don't have. You don't need a Ph.D in economics to know that our recurrent expenditure is what's swallowing all the darn money...

Tropilo: @kobojunkie, Brixtonyute and co: its not fair to just criticize any or all statements or actions of Madam Ngozi. Has any of you ever bothered to ask ur state governors how they spend ur money (this is d govt that is supposed to be closer to u)? This woman did not influence d subsidy remover but just because she's from d world bank many of us just assume it was her brain child and therefore hate her for it. Its not fair! As a matter of fact, it was d state governors that pressured GEJ to remove it.
This is not about the state government - it's about the kettle calling the pot black. If the country is going broke; she needs to be prudent and clamour for the downsizing of the government. She wasn't employed to monitor the states government, their actions are guided by the NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION. Most of the ministers, and special advisers are NOT meant to be there in the first place - we're broke - and 50% of them need to go.

The woman is crazy, and the only thing she has been able to achieve so far is BLAMING everyone else, but herself - and the arm of government she represents.

Phuck her!
PoliticsRe: Governors Are Running Nigeria Broke- Okonjo-iweala by Brixtonyute(m): 12:07am On Apr 14, 2012
The problem is that the Nigerian constitution is flawed! In a real federalism - the federal shouldn't be the one telling the states what they're entitled to - it should be the other way round. This clueless woman needs to shut the hell - how can you demand "fiscal federalism" - in a system, which operates everything BUT federalism - isn't that oxymoronic?

I still don't how some of these so-called "educated" managed to get beyond the four walls of a university. I think she's better off at the world bank; than taking Nigeria into abyss, with her voodoo economics.

We need to cut the darn size of the government - and reduce the recurrent expenditure by at least 50% - that's what this stupid woman should be clamouring for.
PoliticsRe: Governors Are Running Nigeria Broke- Okonjo-iweala by Brixtonyute(m): 10:46pm On Apr 13, 2012
Tropilo: why should she use tact? Is there tact in speaking the truth? The governors only want more money to steal. Its unfortunate our constitution aids it.
Can u imagine what the governors of Borno, Yobe, Zamfara, Kebbi, Benue, Niger, Abia, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Kogi, Taraba, Adamawa will be doing with more more money? When they have only but helped themselves with their state allocations. Our constitution as it is today is nothing but a "legal 419".
Stop being hypocritical, the governors want more money to steal - and GEJ, Iweala, and all the croonies at Aso Rock are robbing the country blind. They all need to be stoned to death. Phuck Iweala, and the governors - they're all birds of a father, and they flock together.

Emylexray: This woman is so sophisticated and brainy. though i hated her during that fuel subsidy debacle. Nigerians should be proud to have her. Google her profile and you will what i'm saying.
Why are you so dumb? How has she translated her "profile" into making life better for the average Nigerian? Are Nigerians going to feed on her qualification? Some Nigerians have the same IQs as baboons; it seems some of you guys failed to evolve into full humans.

@ Manny4life and Kachi01

Let's take ethnicity out of the whole thing - and you guys would know that this woman is a FAILURE. Iweala, Barth Nnaji, Iherijika, and Diezani Alison-Madueke have failed Nigeria and Nigerians - they all need to shut up and resign. These four clowns will take Nigeria into abyss.

I thought you were a non-Nigerian?
All these Nigerian losers pretending to be God knows what on the WWW.

Anywaz, concerning your post. . . . Although Nigerians in diaspora should be concern about the level of unnaturally caused mortality in Nigeria, Nigerians in Nigerian should be the one making noise. Like if Nigerians at home are not making noise and standing up for themselves, how do you expect Nigerians in diaspora to talk?

Nigerians, Ghanians, Africans, Blacks etc should make as much noise for the injustice of Trayvon's case. It's simply the right thing to do. Before we too become a case of "They came for him, I did nothing till they came for me too". If the security and rights of blacks are being hindered, then blacks of every nationality ought to speak up. Lie down, do nothing and they'll take you for a doormat.

MLK said "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere". You see those people protesting and seeking for justice, they're later protecting the future of Nigerians and every other Africans in America too. So it only makes sense for Nigerians to be aware, to understand what is going on out there.
Lonely and spiteful bytch, I'll e-smack your fugly face, if you don't tone down how you chat to me. I don't give a phuck about no Travvon, jump into the mississippi river if you don't like that. And my nationality is none of your business phucked faced slut, I'm entitled to my opinion; just as you're entitled to yours. Choke on a fat dyke, slut.

Who gives a phuck? I don't see AAs talking about the deaths America caused in Africa. When they start giving a phuck about Africa, then Africa would start giving a phuck about them, till then; let them bury the dead.

Who cares about a black kid in America? Kids die avoidable deaths in Nigeria everyday - but none of you wrote essays about them, and you're now trying to shove an American down our throats? There is no lesson to be learnt from his death - for Nigerians. You guys need to stop posting junks, and get real.

PoliticsHow Come 90% Of 'tribalists' On NL Are Nigerian Expats In Diaspora? by Brixtonyute(op): 3:57pm On Apr 11, 2012
It's a pity most of the people who flame the tribalism fire are Nigerians in diaspora. If you lead a comfortable life outside Nigeria; why destroy the unity in your home country? If a war breaks out in Nigeria, are your ready to leave your "comfortable" life in diaspora - to pick up an AK47 and fight?

Please, stop this nonsense, and help build your home country.
