That's business in igbo man's dictionary lol! |
No one has answered my question.. Sad! |
I noticed a lot of naija girls are scared from taking it do/g/gy/style despite being the best position.. Why naija chics?? You lot need to step your bedroom game up.. |
faithin9ja: My friend you are obviously confused or you have been indulging in a Saturday 'drink up' . I gave you a 'a couple' which means '2' ...examples of many but I don't have the patience to keep giving lectures. My whole contribution was to highlight the possibility of 'foreigners or outsiders' getting political office in UK unlike Nigeria. You were arguing that does not happened in UK and asked people to give examples of MP's from the home countries in different seats, I and other pointed examples to you and then you move the goalposts. You must be out of your cotton picking mind to tell me to give props to the woman, for her ceremonial post.. Good luck to her, but there's nothing to celebtate - and it's not front page worthy.. You may continue to sound politicaLly correct, but Nigeria is just as territorial as the UK.. Atleast has had more minority President than the UK would ever have.. Gowon, GEJ, Babangida, Abacha etc..are from minority tribes.. When we get to bridge of having many immigrants living in Nigeria, we shall cross it and elect them - till then, stop posting junk on this thread.. |
And it's funny how you mentioned one Scot, and a Welsh; yet they're in the same country.. How many English PM have we had?? Tens of them, yet you think mentioning a Gordon Brown, who became a PM by mistake - and Llyod George would change how partial the system is? Can that ever happen even in the so-called 'tribalist' Nigeria?? |
faithin9ja: ITo be honest clown, I don't care if Boris' nan was from pluto, but he's English as far as I'm concerned.. You and I know what happened to Gordon Brown, and Llyod George.. And Gordon Brown became PM by virtue of calamity Blair giving up his post... You can continue to quote the 'politically right' pseudo-history from dailymail; but that won't change the reality on the ground.. |
Boi, e-tribal war!!! ![]() Nas & Damian Marley - Tribal War (Featuring K'naan) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubssDHIGi6g |
Nice body and cute face... Intelligent, knowledgeable, and cultured... A very good pum that makes me want more... ![]() |
doncaster: George Galloway scotish man but MP in England.Err George Galloway, I see why he's the most hated MP in England... |
faithin9ja: Go and study your current affairs and political history and stop relying on beer palour talk. the UK has had Welsh MP's and even at least one Welsh Prime Minister, we know there have have Scottish Prime Ministers, there are numerous cases of MP & councilors of Scottish extraction in Northern Ireland (bear in mind the NI protestants are of Scottish origin). You're dumb!! It seems you don't know the difference between United Kingdom, Britain, England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland... I'll respond, when you can tell me the difference between what I listed above... And I don't have time to read no history, till I see an Irish mayor of London. ![]() |
I read something about Yoruba people who have been living in Ivory coast since for more than five generations, yet they don't consider themselves to be Ivorians.. They're still Yoruba, and Nigerians... It happens in every country.. Even in America, the native Americans still own their country; despite being powerless... they have their own passport, which is different from the American passport. |
Please, let's keep it civil! |
bashr8: did i every say its not yorubaland , read before posting , i said until 1999 it was in the hands of the military and federal capital just as abuja today therefore yorubas had no say on how lagos became this cosmopilitan unless ur trying to argue that migration to lagos by other non yorubas started after military regime. Was the whole of Igboland not in the hands of the military, during military rule?? Were those military administrators Igbos?? Yoruba have no say over Lagos, yet Yoruba is the official language of Lagos. You're not making sense at all. |
Chinom: I don't know why you people always make such issues an Igbo vs Yoruba issue. Maybe because both tribes are most active on NL. But are guys aware that the sea port that made Lagos what it is today are in the hands of Dangote, Isyaku Rabiu, Ibru and to a lesser extent Ibeto. The first 3 are not Igbos. The Lagos question has gone way beyond the Yorubas. The yoruba claim is nothing but Geography. Most of the Premiership clubs in England, banks in England, and Airports in England are in the hands of foreigners; does that mean England is a no man's land?? Tell that to an English yob!! ![]() These people own the sea port by virtue of the control, the federal government has over it. If the country breaks up tomorrow, their ownership will be null and void.. Are Nigerians this retarded?? A lot of stupid, and dumb comments, I tell ya. ![]() |
bashr8: go and tell that to the non lagos yorubas and military that called lagos no mans landI don't need to tell them, the Yoruba who own the place will tell them when the time is right... There are documents to show who the real owners of Lagos are.. Even the international community would frown at you for claiming a next man's property.. Maintain your position, Lagos is Yoruba land.. Malcolm X: Just because a kitten was born in the oven, that doesn't make it biscuit. |
engineerd: Growing up is not enough, they need to grow some brains and stop eating human flesh and stones. ![]() Let's be civil, brother. |
Lagos can change Nigeria, if all the tribes there can learn to accept who they are... Lagos is a bomb, that's going to explode soon.. People need to learn to maintain their position wherever they find themselves.. It's just like inland chinese people claiming the own Hong Kong.. Accept your position, life is territorial.. |
bashr8: shut upthere the same way yorubas live in millions in the east and north , i dont know why yoruba iq is soo low , lagos is not considered yorubaland remove lagos and show us the silly proof of ur being accomodating more than eastern and southern cities or even middle belt cities. untill 1999 lagos was in the hands of military who are often non yorubas so i will like to know at which point of history yorubas welcomed non yorubas into lagos . olodos. topic like these is the more reason this country should disintegrate fast.Have you ever seen Yoruba claim any part of the East?? If Lagos is 'no man's land', what about the indigenous people of Lagos?? Even Chinese people don't call Beijing "no man's land." And have you ever seen an English guy born and raised in Northern Ireland being called Irish? Some of you guys need to grow up, and embrace the reality... |
People forget every country in the world, which is made up different indigenous people is territorial... As it is in Nigeria; that's the same way it's around the world... I can cite examples in all the developed countries around the world... Even China, India, and Russia are not left out of the party... That's the way the world is, humans are naturally territorial.. I know the indigenous people in Abuja will definitely start claiming Abuja in years to come... Even in America, the native indians, and cherokee have more rights than the average American citizen.. Heck, they even have their own passport. |
^^^Who are the tribalists? |
I don't know why those who hate Yoruba so much, are the same people who can't live without them... Yoruba are no accommodating; yet you live in your millions in their part of the country... Yoruba are dirty, yet you have substituted your culture with theirs.... Yoruba are cowards, yet you blame them for the ill-fated civil war.. Ibadan is a big village, yet your people live there in their millions... Lagos is a big slum, yet when they showed "Welcome to Lagos", most of the slum dwellers there were not even Yoruba. And you're always quick to let people know you make up a large chunk of people living in Lagos.. I rate Yoruba people a lot, you guys are the 'bestest'. ![]() |
Josyrogers: Can a yoruba man be a local govt councelor in igboland? Or vice versa? But here you have a foreigner being elected to serve in a foreign land. And you all clap and say ''good, good!''. Hypocrites. Stop your tribalistic tendencies and see how fast you'll progress. Can a Welsh man be an MP in England?? Can a Scottish man be an MP in Norhern Ireland? Can an English man be an MP in Scotland?? Answer those questions... |
alj harem: Ikeja is in Nigeria, Enfield is another man's landYou don't live in the UK, so you won't understand my statement... How's her being a Mayor going to change the lives of Nigerians, or people of Nigerian origin living in Enfield? She's just another portfolio carrier, with little or no significance.. I'm yet to see Indians celebrate irrelevant posts like this, despite having more Mayors, and MPs than all the blacks in the in UK combined.. Celebrating this, is just mental slavery and stone age thought process... |
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! Nigerians and celebrating non-achievements.. Mayor of Enfield ![]() What's there to celebrate?? Just pray the EDL boys at Enfield town don't smash her face in... Smh.. Why can't you guys put the Mayor of Ikeja on front page?? Ikeja is 5 times bigger than Enfield.. I smell low self-esteem, and inferiority complex... Fela Kuti - Colonial mentality |
